these truly are great deals, but given my backlog and currently playing Reach every chance I get - these would just sit on my shelf.

By the time I'm ready to play them they'll be half this price. :D

THinking about getting Ratchet & Clank Future. I've never played any in the series; would it okay to start with this one?

Yes Dranakin most likely, but I'd recommend going through R&C:ToD first. The rest of the series you can skip and not miss a beat really.
The ones I've gotten in the past have basically been in mint like-new condition.HOWEVER, some of those games can just be had for about the same price at GS if you use the CAG16 code and your edge card...that's 26% off and free shipping with SAVER for all orders over $25.
Yeah, after checking on GS.com I held off on a lot of these. Infamous for example is pretty much the same price with CAG16.

Some incredible deals in this blowout sale.. wish I had the money to take advantage of it. I'd like to get Borderlands again, as well as Family Game Night 2 for the girlfriend.

Thanks, I'll probably just hold off then.

Picked up Sin & Punishment and Darksiders. Was going to get No More Heroes 2, but I'll wait for a GS sale since I'm sitting on credit.

I wonder how many times Dark Void and Rogue Warrior will be included in these sales before they get rid of them all.
AC2 is well worth it man, the story and history is awesome.

What's the consensus on MAG? Worth it?
MAG is absolutely worth it! (it was worth it at 60, it's worth it now)

I bit on Dante's Inferno. $15 for basically a new game (DLC probably won't be used and PS3 discs don't scratch) is good. I'll probably see Trauma Team and Sin & Punishment for $20 new at some point so I can wait. If not, not really dying to play them.
Wow, people are getting this excited over used prices that in most cases barely beat (or not at all) what they've been new lately? ME2 and GoWIII are the only two I'd even qualify as deals here.
Have you seen Sin & Punishment 2 for $20? Maybe I missed it. If so, well, I missed it. And Gamefly games have always been in superb shape for me, as good as new pretty much, and include the manual like new and reg cards unused (relevant for Wii), since they had just been set aside.

This.

The cheapest I've seen Sin & Punishment 2 new anywhere is $29.99 (briefly at Best Buy and currently at PC Richard). It's not gotten to $20 new yet, and since it's a Nintendo-published title it probably won't do so for a long time.
It's currently $35 used at GameStop.com. After CAG16 and EDGE card (which I don't have), you're STILL looking at $26 shipped before tax, and GS doesn't guarantee it'll have an original case, artwork, or manual (or, with Wii/DS games, Club Nintendo PINs).

GameFly wins.

I was going to get Conviction from GF but Amazon Warehouse Deals has it for $19.99 - no tax/2 day shipping. Oh well.. there are some AWESOME deals to be had in this sale! Thanks for letting us know OP. :)

Wow, borderlands for $20 isn't too bad. It's just with having bought reach, and castlevania & medal of honor right around the corner, I don't know how much time I could invest into this.
Thanks, thought I was the only one underwhelmed by the series. I think it was just so over hyped I expected too much. OR else everyone who reviewed it was on a hallucinogen. WOOAAAHHH , the colors! an underWATER city! HOLY CRAP THAT GUY HAD A HOOK ON HIS ARM!! or so I'd assume it'd go.

I hope my cerburus code is unused.
Ditto the thoughts about Bioshock 2. I actually really loved the first one, but couldn't play the second for more than a few minutes. It's too similar and having to chug around as a big daddy was not appealing to me.

Bioshock: Infinite, on the other hand, looks totally amazing.

Great deals here all in all. Would buy nearly every game thats on sale here, but alas, I own every single one of the PS3 and 360 games listed.

i'd jump on a few of these deals but since the release of reach, upcoming borderlands DLC, and Black Ops around the corner i have to sit this one out. maybe by the time i get bored with all of the above the $ on those games will already have dropped significantly.
Anyone ever gotten a GH/PH/Etc from gamefly in one of these sales. I'm about to do something crazy and get another game.
I never have
I liked Bioshock because of the story/environments/characters and what not, but the gameplay was meh. Bioshock 2 makes the combat better, but i'm pretty much over the environments and the game has a heavy emphasis on "escort" missions, which was the worst part of the first game imo.
....and that's why I quit playing it after a few hours. Escorting and protecting those dumbass little sisters against multiple waves of splicers - all while running out of ammo, etc. Boring and overrated !

Also, it feels like a total rehash, now Bioschock Infinite looks like what we should have gotten as B2.

I bought that damn game for full price on day one and it is still in my backlog - at least I got the Toys-R-Us promo at the time which gave me a giftcard and an action figure.... yea ? I guess....

DDD-
Jumped on Darksiders -- always on the fence for this one, but at $12.99, couldn't pass it up. Especially after Bioshock 2 and Mass Effect 2 from Gamefly came in such great condition.

Loving these end of month deals.
I still haven't gotten around to beating Darksiders, but I got pretty far and enjoyed it (sitting in backlog now). I think for the price it is a great deal !
I bit on Darksiders. Debating picking up Avatar. What's the consensus on that game?
If you like the movie, it's worth it. If not, then definitely I'd say pass. I liked the movie, and I found it fun to explore more of Pandora. Despite its fairly shallow game system, there is a decent amount of strategy to be found in the multilayer as well. Easily worth 7 dollars, lol.

I'm trying to decide if Dante's Inferno is worth it :\
I bit on Darksiders. Debating picking up Avatar. What's the consensus on that game?
I definitely 100% darksiders and pretty much loved almost every minute of it... sometimes the layout of environements (like spider realm) got confusing and i'd consult a guide, but for the most part it was an easy playthrough and definitely enjoyable.

anyone know what perks of Dante's inferno "divine edition" is? Positive karma or anything really worthwhile noting??

You know you are a CAG and your backlog is out of control when....

1) 30+ games go on sale at GameFly at prices 1/3 to 1/4 the original price and you are bummed out because you have most of them and paid 1/2 to 1/3 the original price and STILL haven't played them yet

2) 30+ games go on sale at GameFly and your initial reaction is "Meh, I already have all of the ones I have the slighteste interest in playing" (which means 20+ of them)

3) 30+ games go on sale at GameFly, you already have 20 of them and are just about to buy a couple of the the others that catch your eye. But just before clicking the "Complete Order" button you decide to check your previous purchases and realize you already purchased those games at some point in the past but still haven't played them yet.

4) After all the above you still decide to pick up 2 other games you don't have (after confirming you don't have them first) because other people on CAG are saying they are great games

5) After all the above, you leave 3 more games in your wish list because you are still debating whether you'll get them or not (and partly hoping they'll go out of stock so you don't have to decide).

So is God of War III gone? Come one!! It was cheaper last time! Im not able to buy it

It sucks cause I had to return it (someone not only scratched the PS3 blu but banged it against something and it was chipped!) so I gotta rebuy!

Ended up getting Bioshock 2, Assassin's Creed 2 and FF13 for the 360. Hows FF13 on the 360? I heard some of the textures and cutscenes were toned down graphically compared to the PS3.

Also how long does shipping usually take (I chose the free shipping option)?

The 360 version of FFXIII is lacking a bit in the polish department. Technical issues aside, it's a pretty terrible game.

So glad I waited on Sin & Punishment. Definitely ordering it.

Also, as someone who pre-ordered Trauma Team nearly half a year in advance and played it to absolute death, GET THAT GAME. It's wonderful.

I'm in NY and I usually get purchases from them in 2-3 days after it ships with the free shipping. Picked up Infamous last night and it shipped this morning.

Well said. I feel your pain. I am holding out hope that I will be too cheap (marriage, babies, life, etc.) in the future to buy games in the next console generation. I, hopefully, will catch up on this backlog then.

Believe me, I feel your pain... I got MAG, R&C, Darksiders, NMH2, and GoW:C today.

More content on the disc. It comes with some bonus DLC that these copies should include since GameFly doesn't send cases/manuals.
Is FF13 that bad of a game? If its really bad might just return it and pick up AvP or Shift.
its ok, worth playing but its very linear until almost the end and all you do is change stances and mash the x button really.

In for Dante's Inferno $14.99 free shipping because gamestop has it for $33 used before cag16/edge (which is only $8 off anyway) and no way you're getting DLC code on that, and Amazon has it for $35 and if they ever did a goldbox on it it'd be $19.99 minimum. Also a better deal would be what, $10? I doubt it'll be that price anytime soon unless a Ultra Divine Edition comes out.

Already got Darksiders PS3 for $7.50 from last Blockbuster B1G1, own FF13, pass on Alpha Protocol because it doesn't look like a RPG at all to me, pass on Assassin's Creed II because while I do want it, I don't think I'll be able to play it for awhile with all the other games I need to play, own GoW III & GoW Collection, pass on Rachet since it's $19.99.

Thanks OP for deals!

It's undoubtedly one of the worst Final Fantasy entries in the franchise. It's also the prettiest one, but that doesn't take it very far. Like the guy before me said, it's incredibly linear with no real exploration.

I love linear games just as much as the next guy, but a JRPG with little to no freedom in anything you do kind of defeats the purpose. It's really just a lavish centerpiece for its dull story.
