Think of it as an overall score, or just "Is this game good" type thing. I mean, a game can have great graphics and sound and control and still just not be a game anyone would want to play (I never played Seaman but I bet it would fall into that category). The converse is also true.

Wait a minute am I seeing things correctly? Karaoke Revolution featuring country music presented by Country Music Television? I'm sure everybody is looking forward to playing that in 2006 Gamepro.
 
fuck. I forgot how terrible GamePro was.

Too bad I chose a GamePro subscription when I renewed my GameCrazy account. :(
 
I don't remember how mine comes, it just arrives here. I didn't pay for it. Gamepro's garbage, I just figured I'd post it for the masses.

My favorite is their protips. Like in the Amped 3 review, under a screenshot, it says "PROTIP: Do more combo moves for a higher score"

In the review for MGS3:S - "PROTIP: On stealth runs, pick your camouflage carefully to blend in with the environment. And don't forget the face paint!"

Seriously, what the hell? Is that not the main idea for the whole game?

Don't get me started on the "LamePro" thing, or the Brokeback Mountain parody entitled 'Bowserback Mountain' featuring Mario and Luigi. Awful.

Same. I got a free 1year subscription from a link off Fatwallet a few years ago, and the subscription just never ran out. I've been getting it for free for almost 3 years now.
 
I get Gamepro for free.

It's pretty much considered junk mail.

Goes straight to the trash.

I can't stand reading it. The reviews are a joke. There has not been one decent article or editorial.

And that is one of the many reasons I have not read a gamepro in 5 years or so.
 
At least their 'writers' are smart enough to hide behind psuedonyms.

I subscribed to gamepro once, but I quickly found the writing to be juvenile and aimed at someone far below me on the maturity scale...I was 15.


Oh, and dont sleep on that Country Music TV Karaoke game... Im thinking its gonna be one of those super rare, over $100 on Ebay games real quick...
