It's been OoP since last summer. Amazon was just the last major retailer to have new copies. All others were long gone.

A new copy goes anywhere from $60-$200 for the Limited Edition on EBay/Amazon. Used copies are $50 at Gamestop B&M, $45 on gamestop.com. It is currently the MvC 2 of this generation in terms of its rarity.
$200? I've never seen one actually sell for that much. NEW copies of the special edition can go for around $100 or a little bit more but if you're getting that $200 from the buy it now prices none of those sell.
I gave up on this game. The PS3 version isn't coming, and I don't want to play the beta on the 360.
Seriously, if this is the beta--- all games need to be this good.

TALES is the *BEST* RPG period of this generation.

All this praise for this game has me intrigued. The only Tales game I've ever played was Tales of Destiny II for the PSX and I hated the battle system. It felt way too chaotic with zero strategy. Plus, I would always get my ass kicked (even though I'm usually very good at JRPGs). So is this game more of the same with shinier graphics or did they do something different which makes this the "best JRPG of this generation?"

I'm actually in the same boat, in terms of coming to Vesperia from Destiny 2, and I can tell you that they are pretty different. As for its status as the "best JRPG of this generation," it's hard to say, because I found the game to be somewhere above mediocre. But, at the same time, this has been, by far, the worst generation for JRPG's, so, relatively, I suppose it is sitting pretty well. Sure as hell beats Final Fantasy 13.

EDIT: On a side note, I was curious how much shipping was, but the site never seems to mention it besides offering UPS or USPS. Is shipping free on the site, or am I missing something? Nothing about tax, either, which is all just leaving me a little confused.

Compared to the PS3 version, it is incomplete. It's missing a character, half the voice acting, and a load of other stuff. It's not like Eternal Sonata: Reprise where the extras are rather minor additions.

Oh, and best RPG? *gag*

Half the voice acting? First time I've heard that. And what's the load of other stuff? As far as I've heard, the only additions are some little girl who will probably be nigh non-existent through the game outside of combat, as I can't imagine they'd work in a new character throughout the story, and some overpriced costumes as DLC.

And, in response to the ebay link above, here's one with free shipping: http://cgi.ebay.com/Tales-Vesperia-...Item&pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item1c13a31aee

I really like Vesperia and it's had some weird pricing, I remember it being 26.99 used at gamestop not long after it's release and I think it was a lightning deal on amazon for XMas season for either 10 or 15. Now the prices are a lot higher. That game is easily worth 40

Yeah I doubt they sell at that price, but I don't go on EBay too much anymore so I don't know if a new, sealed CE has been sold anytime recently.

They added a lot of stuff.
Do you know Japanese? Then you should get that version. Otherwise, I'm not sure what your point is.

http://www.vg247.com/2010/06/25/namco-bandai-puts-out-game-release-schedule/

Bamco's release schedule through 2011. Guess which game's not on it? It's from Eurogamer, so I guess there's a chance (however small) they'll release the localization in the States only.
I do, but I really prefer playing in my native language. Plus it's still $80 on Play-Asia even though it's been out for a long time now.

I'd rather just pass up the game entirely than play the half-baked 360 version. I'd rather not send the message to Scamco that I'm okay with the US just getting the scraps. That's just me.

I have not seen this from any distributors in a long time. I was fortunate to pick on up at Toys R Us over the weekend. I will keep a look out for them.
Hey Troy, let us know if you can get any Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith edition for PS3
Your order shipped. We will start sending confirmations with the delivery confirmation #
So do we get a shipment confirmation? I haven't heard anything and I ordered Thursday.
Sorry about not posting lately. Amazon and Ebay Fees are really hurting now so If you want a deal please ask. I have a bunch of L.A Noire coming in Monday and they will ship Tuesday.

Thanks
Troy

Thanks, I need to start working my website more so hopefully I can save some money
Wow Tman welcome back from the dead!
My thoughts exactly, I remember helping on the FAQs on his old thread ages ago.

@Troy,

I'm not looking for anything specific. Just on the look out for games at a good price. I recently bought an Xbox 360 so looking for some of the older big name titles. Not sure how up to date your site is? Have any deals you are willing to throw out there? Glad you're back. Thanks to you I picked up some great deals on some of my favorite PS3 games.

Been a long time.

[STRANGE RANT]

I did LOL at the same guy (one of two) posting in this thread their same sing-song TOV vendetta from even a year ago. Wow, still not "complete" game now. Funny that adding something new to the game to make more money re-selling it means that not getting version is giving us scraps/incomplete games.

Not for nothing, TOV is the best JRPG this gen and definitely for the 360. Buy it.

[BACK ON TOPIC]

Any future "weird game" deals TMAN? I missed those the most.
