Yeah, I already hosted one 4 Pack @ the $7.20 price and have 2 slots filled for a second one. Best deal there is and rare to get a pre-order for less than 50% of the retail price!
^_^ I know, I'm half-tempted, and I haven't played Sinper Elite V1 or V2, and I'm not a zombie fan, and Nazi Zombies just make that worse. $7.20 is better than than I've seen SE V2 at iirc.

Just so I know, what's the best way to gift stuff on GG? Mail the gifts to yourself, then remail those codes? (Asumming the recipient doesn't have a GG account yet.) I assume if they have a GG account, the direct to account works okay?

I hadn't even considered that possible wrinkle to buying a 4-pack. I had just assumed that you were able to see all 4 keys in your account, and you could just give the key to whoever bought a slot in the group buy. Is this not so?

The best way is usually direct to account if possible. Just easier that way and you don't have the extras cluttering your own inventory.

Some games (like Primal Fears) will only give you one key for a four pack which you have to activate on Steam and then you get 3 extras added to your inventory.

This one gives you 4 different entries so you can just gift them out individually. The keys for this one aren't out, GG usually gets them the day before or day of release.

Edit:

And yes, otherwise you have to send each gift to your email, redeem it on your account, and then see the keys. Otherwise the copy will say giftable only and won't let you see the key.

Hmm, I guess the Codemasters sale should probably be ending soon.

*Edit: Found someone. Thanks!
If anyone has the 20% discount, and preferably doesn't hate my guts, and would be open to grabbing a game for me that I could buy from them via Paypal I'm kind of interested in Rise of the Argonauts (Steamworks).

US site has it for $6.69 http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-ROTA/rise-of-the-argonauts

It's slightly cheaper at £3.34 (about $5.18 with the exchange rate) on the UK site though http://www.gamersgate.co.uk/DD-ROTA/rise-of-the-argonauts

Gah, that's tempting. I played a fair bit of Rise of the Argonauts on 360, and it's a really good third person ARPG. Has dialogue choices and pretty good voiceovers, graphics aren't bad at all, story is surprisingly well done, etc. Gameplay is pretty standard fare, but you're given a lot of skill options and whatnot. It's a really good game...

It's ~$4 if someone has the 20% discount and buys it through the UK site. Price history says the lowest it has been on sale for is $5 on Steam a year ago (2011 Winter sale).

In for Rise of the Argonauts. I'm too lazy to do the math but between the UK price, 20% comp and me still using my BC's I bought at 20% off plus the 207 BC kick-back I'm guessing it was about $3 total.

Rise of the Argonauts was good on the PC, but nothing great or spectacular.
Certainly worth that cheap amount of $, for damn sure.

Back in the day when I bought it (dirt cheap back then, mind you - but not THIS dirt cheap), the game had performance issues on my (older) rig, CTD's, and other madness - which drove me crazy more so than anything else. I'm betting and hoping it runs much better on modern-day PC's, of course.

Also, the game took a little while to really get going w/ the action for a game labeled "Action-RPG", IMHO. Felt like the game was very story-heavy and tutorial-heavy, in the beginning. But, still - while it starts slow, this is a game that just gets better and better, as you keep playing.

It didn't really feel like the dialogue options didn't really shape much of the game differently, as well. Your favor points, they really don't say shape the story itself too much. Also, nor does it really shape your skills too much - in which that could've been really interesting in a ARPG (since the game's story doesn't re-shape itself much based on your decisions).

What do I mean? If I side w/ say Ares in dialogue 5 times and get credit for "Making 5 Ares aligned choices", I should be stuck with....duh, using that devotion to Ares ONLY, whether I like it or not -- that or you get MORE credit on filling that bar up for devoting that deed to Ares. It just makes more sense to me. Same w/ say the sword rewards in combat -- if I got credit for "killing X enemies with a sword," I should be able only to use that on the God Hermes, who favors the sword -- or I should get more credit on filling that bar up for using it on Hermes' skill set than some other God.

I didn't care for KB/mouse controls (and lack of ability to re-configure them), but it played great w/ a X360 controller. Combat and controls were awesome w/ the 360 controller - especially once you got more skills, abilities, and stuff behind your character.

TL;DR - This game's a solid ARPG and easily worth the $; and while it starts slow, it just gets better and better as it goes along.
Inversion is the daily at $9.99.

Waiting for this to be sub $5 or bundled. Poorly reviewed TPS with the upside down gimmick.
Yeah, what did Amazon have it for, $6 or $7.50? Either way, I remember passing it up for cheaper.

I thought Inversion was a nice Gears clone. Up there with Binary Domain. The plot is clearly taken from another genre's game though and told really stupidly because they try to fit in all this background data in observations made too casually by the heroes who have no idea what they're doing or getting in to.

Less charming than BD and slightly worse bosses but still fun.

The graphics are pretty amazing though and the gameplay is solid.

8$ before coupon is less than 1$ within Amazon's winter sale IIRC.(Though I think it dropped for 6.75 for a period of time)
I think the lowest it was on amazon was $7.49. Originally, it was listed as going to be on sale for $4.99 but I think that never happened.
This is my recollection was well.
Well anyone that was waiting to buy torchlight 2 and has the GG 20% off will be happy.
Real cheapasses would find 3 others and snag the 4-pack w/20% at $6/copy. (Was $7.50/copy during the Steam Winter Sale.) Personally I picked it up at release at $16, no regrets.
Anyone with the 20% discount still willing to host a Sniper Elite Nazi Zombie Army 4-pack?
I dont want it but I can purchase for the group.
Quick! Somebody convince me not to pick up The Last Remnant while it's on sale.
It was bundled in an Amazon bundle for cheaper, but I doubt that bundle is coming back. If you plan to play it now that would be the only reason, it's been this price a few times at other sites.

Thanks. I guess I'll just thing out my backlog for my JRPG binge.

Does anyone know if you can use Gamersgate's BF3 Premium if you purchased BF3 on Origin?
Does anyone know if you can use Gamersgate's BF3 Premium if you purchased BF3 on Origin?
Well realistically everything is Origin.

I didnt buy premium from Origin and bought it from Greenmangaming and they give you a key to enter in Origin..

So I assume its the same for Gamersgate since BF3 in general runs under Origin
Dead Space 3 2-pack!!!!!!!!!!

https://www.gamersgate.com/DDB-DS32P/dead-space-3-2-pack-bundle

With discount it comes out to $28.14 a copy.

Great price for anyone who thought $40 was too much.

The individual copies end up being $32 with the discount.
I can get the 20% to pop up for the 2-pack but it won't apply it to the single game. There's no coupon slot for typing in a code (Elder-geeks.com) either. It seems that the single copy of Dead Space 3 is discount resistant.

I didn't try it on the single myself, made the incorrect assumption that if it worked on the 2 pack it surely would work on the single. Maybe if you could find someone to split it with you?
Don't forget to put your key in here, too, for all the GOG goodies.
If it's DRM-Free will it have a key to enter there?

I'm too backlogged to even worry about Dead Space 3 (plus said backlog includes DS1 & DS2). I only noticed because I was posting the deal elsewhere and was double-checking my discounts and totals.

I remember Dead Space 3 was the first title I saw on GamersGate where the Comp. discount didn't apply and they gave no alternate compensation. I'm inclined to think the savings on the 2-pack are in error.

Yeah, I remember that. It also was supposed to be a daily for yesterday I thought, but I guess they extended it. Game seems to be dropping like a rock so I doubt this price will be too hard to come by.

Shot in the dark here, but does anyone out there have a copy of Birth of America 2: Wars in America that they'd be willing to part with? It was given away for free in a Paradox newsletter back in 2011.

I could give you a couple bucks through PayPal if you want. Plus you would have my eternal gratitude ;)

Check PMs. ;)

I forgot I even had that.

Wow thank you very much!

I think it's verboten for me to give you a +feedback for this, so I'll just say you are truly a gentleman and a scholar. I salute you :applause:

Comp discount doesn't work on Crysis 3 either. I'm guessing this will be the way it goes for any new releases (or at least big AAA ones).

I mention this as a matter of academics. I'm not buying any new games for only 20% off MSRP and by the time the game is hitting 50%+ off, I assume the discount embargo will be lifted.

Seems like you can get the 20% off of Bioshock Infinite, as long as you don't take the second free game (you still would get Bioshock 1). This works out to $47.96 plus you would receive $20.38 in Blue Coins.

I already have all of the additional games being offered anyways.

Assuming you'll use the Blue Coins, that's not a bad deal. The settled "Buy It Now" price for the Bioshock Infinite/Tomb Raider bundle on eBay seems to be $55.00 so $28 for Bioshock sounds right about there.

lol... this reminded me to cancel my WWE Wrestlefest pre order with them. Pre ordered back when THQ was still around.

It's easily enough to go ahead and buy the season pass, if you want it.
EA Daily seems to be NFS The Run for $4.99 ($4 w/ discount) and NFS Ultimate Collection for $8.99 ($7.20 w/ discount):

http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-NFSR/need-for-speed-the-run

http://www.gamersgate.com/DDB-NFSUDC/need-for-speed-ultimate-digital-collection-bundle
NFS:TR was enjoyable. Worth one playthrough. It's a cannonball run, so car switching is a little weird, but you never repeat the same bit of road twice (unless you fail/replay a section).

NFS:prostreet got unfavorable reviews, it only joined my backlog a few months ago.

NFS: SHIFT, out of the box the physics are *whacked* (e.g. the cars are way too light). I hear it can be an enjoyable experience if you tinker with it enough. I can't recommend it.

NFS: SHIFT 2, reviews say it stays true to it's namesake. I haven't gotten over the disappointment of SHIFT boot it up.

NFS: Undercover... well if you like a storyline in your racer this has got it. It was too easy imo, but I'm a racing junkie burnout. I suspect it's enjoyable for most.
The collection bundle. Shift 2 has Tages. And the rest have Securom. :(

I was hoping they'd be Origin codes.
same, anyone know if they give you the option of origin activation?
