It looks like they will honor the sale but with a delay. I was able to get the code for the game i really wanted (Skyrim) and will get the rest in January. If they cancel I get Skyrim free, and if not i get all the other games for a great price. Win win.
 
Wouldn't you think the individual games would be displaying the same message of not having keys if they were actually out of them? Or are they simply selling those, despite knowing they are out of keys now? :)

I thought that but, to be fair, they may have bought the bundle keys at a different negotiated rate and they're under a separate inventory.

well, my guess is that you're probably in the clear, but it can't hurt to contact them. That paypal reversal certainly sounds odd though. But if they don't respond by wednesday or thursday, you're probably free to go, as that gives them enough time for vacation then back to work. but it's definitely the scrupulous thing to do.

I was given and activated all of my keys save for Fallout 3 GOTY which gave me the out of stock message, everything went through on steam just fine, been playing the games. Everything is done and completed, I'd say if you have your receipt and your codes your golden they cant reverse anything at that point. If you paid and don't have keys, most likely you will get them when gamersgate is restocked, or a refund or some sort of credit will be applied. There has been no official word *aside from the blurb on the collection page which is showing as unavailable now. Reads.....

"Due to an error in our system the price for this bundle was incorrect and lower than it should have been. The bundle offer has therefore been taken down and it is no longer avaialbe for purchase.

Because of the high demand on this bundle we have ran out of serials for most of the titles. Unfortunately, we will not get new serials until middle of January next year.

If you want a refund for this bundle, please contact the support."

It shows 1.74 pounds for me too (I'm in the US) but Carlmundo and Flowette are both in the UK and they said they saw it as 0.44 pounds several hours ago.

Just going to the UK site doesn't do it though for me and I tried a UK proxy for the hell of it to see if it would show but I still wasn't able to see that price.

That is normal for Gamersgate. Honestly if you get a response from their support in less than 3 days consider it a miracle from god.

It's showing as 0.44 pounds for me without a proxy (I'm in NZ), and the French proxy is showing this:

Sounds like I was one of the lucky ones. I got the Bethesda pack and all the keys from it before they ran out. I never get in on price errors. This is the first time I've got in on one. And baby its a big one! :D

Actually, what I was thinking has happened (Although the bundle keys being a different inventory makes sense) is that they have basically stopped giving out keys in the hope that people who want their games sooner will get frustrated and request a refund so they can purchase it somewhere else.

Remember, every refund they get is another set of keys they can sell for almost seventy dollars more.
 
Camping GG for price-mistakes led me to some interesting finds. Maybe old news to some, but eh, whatever.

The Secret World - $15 For those who missed it during the Amazon sale.

Omerta City of Gangsters - $13.58 for preorder. New game coming from Kalypso (makers of Tropico series) I believe this is the lowest I've seen so far.

Penny Arcade Episode 1 - $1.24 Anyone know if this is steam? Doesn't have any listing for DRM.

Penny Arcade Episode 2 - $1.24 Either way this is the cheapest I've seen these games so far.

They also had some nice EA sales, like BF3 premium for 30$ and such.
 
Is price glitching a nightly routine for Gamers Gate? Seems like we find a 'too good to be a normal sale' deal almost every night.

I will gladly welcome nightly "glitch" sales!! They are far better than Steams offerings this year and even better than Amazon in most cases...

Dammit! I go to bed and miss the EA price mistakes. I know it's Origin and all but still I wanted those C&C games, but not for the regular price they are selling them for.

Anyway, GG Has Frozen Hearth on sale 75% off for $6.78 and a little cheaper with IMAMANELDERGEEK.

Normally I'd be annoyed that it wasn't on sale at Desura too and be No Client No Buy but I have a bunch of blue coins from The Bethesda (and a little bit Stardock too but mostly Bethesda) Incident the other night.

The Frozen Heart developer said as if they game is greenlighted that as long as they had access to issue Steam keys (they should; normally indie devs do) that they would give Steam keys to existing owners.

I know it might be in a bundle but eh, I'm getting it for free with blue coins that I got mostly for those crazy packs the other night.

*Edit Frozen Hearth @ GG comes with a soundtrack and digital artbook too.

I don't think so. They have been very generous with people (even allowing full refund on bundles where people redeemed several keys), and the games ran out of stock at varying times (high demand ones like Dishonored ran out first) If it was really a ploy, they would've shut down all the keys at once. Asking people to wait 3-4 weeks is hardly much time to wait.

It's been happening a lot this month for some reason. Basically the intended discount keeps getting applied twice to certain games/bundles.

Damnt, I was looking for GG price glitches until 0840 UTC then I decided to go to bed. I would have snagged that C&C bundle at finally a decent price. Well they'll have to devalue it soon or later. I think I'll go swim in my massive backlog to cheer me up (like Scooge McDuck).
 
Anyone know what happens if you now try to finish up a 2nd pending order of the Bethusda bundle from GG if you already have one?

Will it still go through at the price ordered? Since they don't have serials, what do you get? How does it show up?
 
I really want to pick up TSW, waiting for it to dip back down to $10 or less, but I remember reading something about buying it before the end of the year and you get some content for free? Anybody know what I'm talking about?

If you have a pending order, it will go through at the price you locked in when you placed it. My experience, which seems to be common, is that you will get a listing in your library for the Bethesda pack, but none of the individual games will be listed. The speculation is that the individual games will show up when the keys are ready. However, nothing its confirmed, so its a matter of how comfortable you are with the uncertainty.

I actually managed to snag a C&C bundle by posting in the buy/sell thread. Actually now that I think about it, it was the Steam buy/sell thread. :lol:

Someone had put in an 'order' but hadn't gone through paying for it yet so I had him grab it for me.

Anyway, you could always try putting it out there that you're looking for the C&C pack on the cheap and see if anyone else would sell it to you.

Bought Viking on the legit though. Feeling pretty good about that, especially double-dipping on the IAM ANELDERGEEK coupon code and blue coins.

Nice. Thanks. I poked around. I didn't see anything, I was happy to see more posters stating the origin of their keys. Maybe I'll post. I'm also content to wait. I should drop eventually.
 
Man, too bad I missed out on the C&C pricing.

I did manage to register a new account and got two of the Bethesda bundles when that was on error though. It took me ~4-5 hours. And the second bundle I got after the price returned to 95$ but from trying to check out and get the confirmation email for registration I somehow managed to ring up two orders but only checked out and payed for one.

So I got the second one for 27.32 when it was back at 95$
