Receive an extra $5 PER GAME when you trade in 3 or more games. Games must have a used price of $7.99 or more to qualify for the extra $5. Also, 2005 and 2k5 sports games and newer WILL count for the bonus.

The employee must adjust the trade-in price of the games manually, but there is an option in the computer specifically set up for this deal. It is option #2 and will say something along the lines of "Trade 3 or More Games & Get an Extra $5 for Each Game". The employee must do this for each of the games that qualify.

Slim pickings...I hit up a few more stores and most of everything is gone. Still finding a few of the cheap PSP games, but everything else is long gone. Hopefully they will do another batch of games (I'm sure they will). I have way to much store credit.

Also, I wish GR would lower prices in conjunction with other stores. I see Odama is now $30 at Best Buy, and qill be soon at most stores...but how long until GR lowers it? 2 months? Ugh

lol you still have credit? I burned through 1,200 dollars in gamerush credit in the past week. It didnt help that it took around 20+ games to burn through 100 dollars of credit (but felt great when they traded in for 1.5x the credit at gamestop), but the ds lite-flipping-on-ebay-for-equal-money did help speed up the process. In the end, i ended up with enough credit at gamestop for a wii and ps3 and a couple next gen games for each, a ps2, a ds lite, and 8 nds games.
 
Hey IO do you mind doing a recap of the top games to move credit to ebgames? For the most part it seems any game under $4 works but I know I read in the past 20 pages a few titles you recommended...

Rabble. I've built up all this credit, and after waiting a week, no stores in the UCF/North Orlando area have restocked DS Lite's yet. Sure, the GR guy at my closest GR says he'll hold the DS Lite his store has on order for me whenever it comes in, but I'm itching to make all my driving around and trading produce something tangible.

I managed to transfer some GR credit to two GS's (due multiple copies of a couple games) in the tune of $66 which I used for the LE Final Fantasy XII game/guide preorders, so let's see if I can find the right combination of games again and maybe get my Lite sooner.

BTW, at my Best Buy, I saw a two pack of PS2 games (IHRA Professional Drag Racing 2005 and Motocross Madness 3) for $9.99, which can be cut in half using the $5 Playstation Underground coupon. I called in for quotes and was told $6 and $1.25. I don't remember which was for which, and since I haven't traded them in yet, I'm not sure if they'll be good for the $5 bonus. This could be a good option for those of you who can't find the three-pack at WalMart.

Well, there's sort of three tiers of games you can use, all of which are $5 or under (there are others like Baten Kaitos and Bloodrayne 2 which are OK, but since my GR didn't really have any of those I'm skipping them).

All games cost $5 at GR unless otherwise noted:

Tier 1 (trade at or more than they cost):
PS2 Def Jam Fight for NY: $7
PS2 Mega Man Anniversary: $8
PS2 Punisher: $5
PS2 Silent Hill 4: $9
PS2 The Sims ($3.75): $4
PS2 Tenchu: $6

And that's just what I know about. There are probably lots of others in the Tier 1 category that my GR didn't have (I actually had a pretty crappy selection from the beginning compared to most of you).

I'm pretty much reduced to things like DMC 2 (which like I said seems to be available at lots of regular BB's) and the Tier 3 junk like Test Drive, Midnight Club, etc.

Thanks for the update with some of the others I found I should be able to move some credit over easy enough. Figure its worthwhile with eb/gs doing the 3 games/$10 bonus. The GR's around me still have quite a bit left since alot of the games were never tagged to begin with.

Bah, I just never liked this guy, but I thought he came back a changed man, but nope, back to his old ways.
 
My store is pretty cleaned out of games. There are a few accessories left though. Lots of 128MB PSP Memory Stick Duo's. I wanted something larger. I already have a 1GIG from about a year ago. I may get some though, nice to keep an album or two on there. I believe they have PSP batteries, XBOX LIVE KIT and a few controllers. Lots of PS2 DVD remotes also.

Thanks for the heads up - found one at my local GameRush...took a few trips to get it right, though. I live within 1-5 miles between three GRs, and two of them had zilch. The one that did have it, told me they didn't and should sometime this week, only for me to point at the box on the back rack. ^_^;;;

Ha... my GR is sneaky with it. They go by the "If they can't see it because we have it locked up in the back room, it will make it a more desirable item to purchase and we'll sell all of them! All two!" train of thought.

That's what I was afraid was going to happen with them - thought they were going to hide them in the back and force you to ask them, etc. etc. It must have been put out around last night or this morning, because I was sitting around yesterday afternoon, waiting to see if they would put it out or not (they had boxes all over the GR area of the store).

The stores I went to were in Corinth, TX and Denton, TX. Below is what each had (from my memory).

Store on Swisher Rd. (Corinth) had:
Absolutely nothing as far as the clearanced items went. Nice and clean place, though.

Store on I-35 (Denton) had:
-Clearance games were on the same rack as the regular games. From what I saw, they had jack crap. They did have a few copies of Pikmin 2 laying around in the GC section, though.
-A couple 128mb memory sticks: they did have a 256, but I blew the last of my value card buying that. :p

Store on University (Denton) had:
-Well, this is where I bought the DS Lite. :p
-They had a clearance rack here, with quite a few games on them. I didn't really look hard, but I noticed a couple MGS3s (which can be found damn near anywhere I'm guessing), a couple VJ2s (both PS2 and GC), and two copies of Baten Kaitos. They also had quite a few PSP games there.
-They also had one XBL kit with Crimson Skies left.

I was going to do the EB credit transfer trick here, but when I saw they had a DS Lite, I was quite satisfied; that, and it just doesn't feel terribly right buying some 20 games to trade in for EB credit. :S

Was Driver: PL (PS2) still eligible for the bonus while getting $16? There's one left at my CC, but I didn't recall which version didn't drop. Not gonna bother unless it gets the bonus though.

How much is Wario Ware Twisted? $10 doesn't seem right to me with the 75% off going on, maybe less by now?
Also saw Drill Dozer tagged as $19.99 seems like everyone is trying to get rid of this game with all the sales going on, maybe the sales are really driving the value down significantly on this game that a universal drop is near for this.

WarioWare Twisted is not part of the clearance sale - it is just being sold for $10 for some reason.

Sucks, i went to 3 Blockbusters, only found these 3 games and some old NBA/NFL games:

So, at least i found 3 games for EB's 3/$10 deal. Not the $550 worth i was hoping though.
 
Im confused... I went to the two local BB locations near my house (there are no gamerushes in my area) and neither of them had games even close to the prices listed in this thread... Am I missing something?
 
I didnt even bother asking them to scan them truthfully... might be worth my while to go back tomorrow and ask them to do that. Psychonauts (Xbox) had a sticker on it for $25, and Chronicles of Riddick (Xbox) had a $15 sticker. There was one more I can't recall too...

How do I know if its a franchise location? The two stores I went to were the Merrick Road and Grand Avenue locations in Baldwin, Ny (11510)
 
The last store I scored at had everything marked with original prices, upon scanning the cashiers jaw dropped when Ridge Racer PSP came up 10 bucks and Incredibles came up 5

Most of us are finding games not stickered knowing they are on sale and buying them.

Plus you need to make sure these aren't USED games as they will not be on sale in that case. Generally, used games have orange price stickers and new games have red/white price stickers (besides the fact that used aren't sealed - but it can be hard to tell at first glance as most regular BB's use the plastic security cases).

Taking the advice that pretty much any $5 or less game is worth using to transfer GameRush credit to EB/GS, I went on a bit of spree. I think I was a little overzealous. I was only really fed up of waiting for GR to restock on DS Lite's, but it seems I didn't calculate how well the credit multiplies during the transfer over. I already did some flipping to preorder the FF XII LE game/CE guide, and I think I just may finish off my GR credit to help pay off a Wii. It seems the only reason I'd want to keep some GR credit is for Blockbuster's 3 or 4 for $20 used DVD sale.

First number is the purchase price from GameRush, second number is the trade-in value at EB before any promos. Since I bought some duplicates, I split my trades between two EB's. Since my local GameStop where I preordered FF XII didn't have any Lite's, I went to EB. Seeing that I was reaching my quota to pay off the Lite without trading everything in yet, I saved some to trade in later at GameStop to fully pay off some preorders.

So, that's $157.79 spent in GR credit turned into $198.71 EB credit (after Trade 3 Get $10 and 10% GS card bonuses), and I still have 9 games I've yet to trade in!

It also seems that in addition to Mortal Kombat Deception's price going back up, Midway Arcade Treasures 3 (XBX) is $7.99 at two GR's I visited. As you see above, I bought one without realizing the price. For any fellow Orlando CAG's, the Red Bug Lake GR in Oviedo doesn't seem to have any games that you'd call "in demand," but it's still plenty ripe for more flip-farming even after my "modest" haul. If you want to pick nits about price accuracy, a lot of their $5 games actually had regular-style $4.99 stickers on them instead of $5 clearance/sale stickers.
 
Well, I'm happy, I scored 2 1GB and 2 512 for like 15 and 12 each respectively. This was from San Dimas Gamerush. They were all hiding in some drawer. CA btw
