Ok . . .
Well here is what happend. I had to get rid of my 100+ sucky games that I got from CC last July for 5 dollar each. All of these were in thier orginal plastic packaging and I had to removed them before going into blockbuster for trades. Along with that I had a whole collection of xbox games back in the days when I would buy every single game released on the box. So yes, I had a lot of games to trade or to get rid off.
So soon I came to learn about this deal, not from here but from word of mouth and my daily movie pass exchanges at Blockbuster. I became a faithful trader.
Noticing that I can use the 10 games for 19.99 at blocbkbuster (No clue about flipping at the time) I bought 10 and use them to trade so I can keep some of the mint quality games that I had. I am guessing its because the one I was trading were still shrink wraped so they should worth a little more and letting them go felt a little weird. So here, I admit I use the 10 game to flip in the process of three plus weeks. Big red flag, Yes. LOL, my bad. Do I feel guilty, yes a little. Is it hilerious, Yes. Ethical, No. Legal, Yes.
Oh and I traded back a star wars game on the same day because well... it sucked. Error on my part but it suck so bad I didnt give to much thought about flipping. How that game is ever made is beyond me. Profit 25 bucks - 3 games. Would I trade back for the game I traded, Yes I would. Did I flip, Yes I did.
Ethical, depends on who your talking too. For the sake of argument? Ok not ethical.
Illegal? Thank God I live in CA, where free enterprising is ok. (At least that what this thread had said). Did I need the money? No, I can careless about 25 bucks. Can I get my games and money back?
The rest of the games? If it wasnt good and my friends didnt want it, I simply returned in 2 weeks or so later. Flipping? No way (at least not defined on this page). Further because I would love to get the "three games" sets that I traded back for those POS but the trade was fairly agreed.
Recently, "as in the last 2 days" the home store that I go to get daily rental started inquiring about the credit I have, which isnt much only about 100. Give me a break, 100 dollars is like what 2 brand new games? Just today while I was searching for mario party 5, I happen to run acrooss a mint game and had them call the home store for info. The home store gave my customer ID along with adding the part that I have done a lot of questionable trades. Now embrassed and feeling gulilty I felt like I was treated like a criminal. Forgive me if I make money in the process but if you are telling me I can trade in 3 games for 1 preown you dont expect me to take three game and trade for a game that is like 10 bucks? I am no psycho but I rather paid for the full price then let go three game that I took the time to purchuse.
But seiously if I was trying to defaud blockbuster, I dont think I would make it this transperent at all.
If blockbuster your reading I want to apologize for the 10 game which I accodently fliped along with the starwars games that sucked that I flipped.
But anyway wanted to rant here because I wanted to take my 3 NHL 2k4 game I got from CC and trade mario Party 5 to end it all with a bang. But now with my character in question I am extremely embrassed to trade any further.
