GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

What the hell? Oh by the Goomba... I did start the transfer (yesterday), but paypal won't have the money completed until June 1st... Which is kind of lame. I can screenshot it if you want.

By the way, it only lets me transfer money from my account in CAD... Do I just convert it in paypal before I send it to you?

RoganSarine, it doesn't matter what funds you have. You can send USD even if you only have CAD...Paypal does the transfer on the fly :) That's just how they roll. Also, sometimes the money does clear earlier than Paypal estimates just so you know.

Thanks for letting me know!

Yeah I know that... I was just kind of refering to last time I send CAD accidentally, but isn't it just as easy to change your balance to USD after I send it? Or does that take off more fees?

But yeah... So I definitely am interested and I'll pay once I get the money for the two games, do you happen to want me to pay $18 upfront? Since I do have some left over :p

RoganSarine, it's actually not the same for thtree reasons:

1) If you send the money as CAD I pay a fee upfront
2) When I go to transfer the money from CAD to USD, I am charged a fee a second time, so it actually adds up to more than just sending USD to me directly
3) The USD to CAD ratio is always changing, so it is entirely possible that you send me CAD and when I go to change it over, it's worth less than it was when you sent it.

For the reasons I have a strict USD only policy. This is why I'm allowing people to order items themselves and have them shipped to my house if they're worried about Paypal fees and all that nonsense :)

You can pay now if you have money left over, or later. Whatever works for you. Thanks!

Can I get an estimate on how much it would cost to get a madcatz sf4 ps3 SE fightstick shipped to me?
If I buy it myself from amazon and shipped to you. How much would you charge for it to ship from your place to mine? I live in Vancouver BC
Also, do you know if I will need to pay extra for customs? Thanks

I actually have one in stock that is right here in front of me (and on my digital scale oddly enough). It weighs about 7 pounds and can be shipped to Canada for $30.00 USD Priority Mail + $2.00 for insurance. As for customs, you usually don't have to pay as long as it is marked $45 USD or lower. Of course, if you have insurance then you'll have to mark it at full value in order to be fully insured.

Let me know (I am about to list mine on eBay in an hour). If you want it then I will sell it to you at actual price, no markup plus shipping and such. It was used only once to test it out for less than 20 minutes total. I can show you pics :) Thanks!

ppck, I am going to list my Nearly Perfect (only used 20 minutes) joystick on eBay in 10 minutes. I will post the link here :) Thanks again! Feel free to bid ^_^

Setite, It looks like I may have a way to get insurance along with Priority Mail packages to Russia after all. According to their website, you can no longer do it online but if I go to the Post Office in person and fill out some paperwork it seems like it's still do-able. I'll go in the next few days and find out for you. Thanks for recommending me to your friends ^_^

Hey Goomba, I was wondering the price you can roughly estimate for shipping to import:

($205 CAD or so)
http://www.amazon.com/Creative-Labs-Camcorder-Storage-Digital/dp/B001LK8P14

I can't find them in Canada for any reasonable price ($300? No way for a compact recorder)

For reference, here are the ebay prices:

http://shop.ebay.ca/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m38.l1313&_nkw=Vado+HD&_sacat=See-All-Categories (In CAD)

I kind of don't like buying off ebay when I don't have too due to often missing pieces/damages/dealing with no-return things.

If I did ship it to you, I would probably also ask if you could first check it out for any defects/damages (IE: Open it and reseal).

RoganSarine, I can probably do around $200 USD shipped for you. There are a few similarly priced on eBay, but if you'd prefer a brand new one from Amazon then I'm your guy :) I'd be more than happy to check it out for you! Let me know ^_^ Thanks!

If I can get it for a similar price as the ones on ebay, I would definitely go that route. There are a couple on ebay for the $215 CAD (price range, but I hate the "as-is" disclaimer.

While the chances of it being broken are slim, I hate there being a chance of it being broken or a scam.

Sorry to bug you Goomba, but I never received an invoice (in email or paypal). Would you mind sending again? Or should I just send $25 USD (that's correct, I think) to your account?

Goomba, that would be great, I really need that insurance ^_^
I guess you shouldn't send the package yet, if you find out you can insure the package please send me the invoice for these headphones (if the price is still $51.79) at once.

upd. I'm sorry Goomba but I forgot about difference in voltage, so these earphones would be pretty much useless for me. I'd rather save these money for the PS3, I am going to buy one with your help in a month ^_^

mberkes, I did send an invoice. Did you recently change your Email address? In any account, yes it is $25 USD to [email protected] (non CC funds) or $26.50 to [email protected] if using a CC/DC. Thanks!

Setite, sounds good. I probably can make it to the post office today to ask them about the insurance thing. I'm not working until 1:30 PM today (which is a change from my new normal 9:00 AM or 8:30 AM). I'll let you know. ^_^

Alright guys, that time of day again for me to go to work. I'm starting a little later in the day than usual (I usually start around 8:30 AM lately) but I'll keep on processing your orders and shipping them out as they come in. Two orders just came in that will be going out TOMORROW:

** Final Fantasy IX Soundtrack **
** RealTriggers for PS3 **

You should know who you are :) Thanks guys!

Thanks goomba, received and paid for. I only got the invoice in my email this morning, but I guess hotmail's not the most reliable email service anyways haha

Hey Goomba, you did put the insurance on my last shipment right? I dunno if you could after the conversion change.

I am weary that my package (or the address you shipped it to) is wrong because really it shouldn't take 2 weeks for me to receive it after customs.

Yeah, PMs are good for now. With my job and my busy schedule I hardly ever have time to chat (sorry to say). I'll come back eventually I'm sure but for now PMs and Emails are your best friends ^_^ Thanks!!

RoganSarine, I am completely sure that it will get to you soon enough. Don't forget that sometimes items take a little longer in customs when they are heavier, have more than one item in them or whatever. Besides, sometimes they sit in local post offices before going through customs. I've only lost one package to Canada in my 10 years of shipping there, so I have full confidence it will reach you. And yes, I did order insurance on them :) So no fears my friend!

Hey Goomba,

Just checking up to make sure you received my last email, as I didn't get a reply.

Thanks =)

Actually gsrce, I'm not sure that I did. What was it about? If I didn't reply then I probably didn't get it. I've noticed a lot of my Emails going into the junk mail folder lately. Not sure why that is. I think I get too many SPAM emails and my inbox is overly sensitive these days. Let me know. Thanks!

Goomba, I am a little puzzled on a series of events for my package. Okay, here's the deal.

I ordered the following:

House of the Dead 2&3
RE: Umbrella Chronicles
Valkryia Chronicles
Mortal Kombat Collection
Devil May Cry Collection

Now... This is the part that confuses me.

Firstly, you told me you sent my package.

Afterwards, you mentioned that you sent everything BUT valkryia chronicles because since I was waiting for my paypal money to clear you thought I wasn't paying for it and sold it on Games for Canada (Which while I did post updates everyday that I'm still waiting, I can understand due to the bunch of requests and shams you receive)... Thus, you made me pay $7 more.

However, today I recieved my package with great puzzlement... Valkryia Chronicles was in it. How is that even possible if I paid that a week or two after I paid and you said my package was shipped. Even more puzzling, neither of the collections I paid for were in there- I assume either because you forgot or you shipped it seperately to fit in the packaging.

So, I'm a little confused.

I paid an additionally $7 USD for Valkryia Chronicles that was already sent? Did you mix me up with someone else?

And then my collections are no where to be found.

I'm in no worry or rush or anything... but what's up with this?

By the way, my paypal money is still set to clear on the first monday in june.

RoganSarine, here is what happened:

1) I originally had all your items packed into a single box ready to go out, but I was waiting for your payment.

2) After you hadn't paid the first week or so, I thought maybe you were going to cancel on the order so I had kept your games on the side and the opened copy of Valkyria Chronicles that I had for you sold on my GFC site.

3) After you ended up paying me so I had re-packed all your items and got them ready to ship out.

4) You told me that you still wanted Valkyria Chronicles, but I realized I didn't have any more opened copies so I asked if you wanted a new one, and you said you did. I ordered it for you and it came next day miraculously in the mail to me.

5) I was able to slip it into the package, and shipped the collection games separately as they were heavier and I didn't want you to incur any customs fees.

So in summary: I was ready to send out your items the first time but when you told me you wanted Valkyria Chronicles, I canceled the original sending and repacked it. Hope that makes sense :) I'm glad you got your first package. The next one should be there any day now hopefully. I shipped them out the same time.

Thanks for the Paypal update!

I know you're new to my system RoganSarine, but again, I'm very organized :) I keep receipts, digital copies of all orders/requests, and tracking numbers and such for all shipments. I'm so OCD it's not even funny ^_^

I assure you that all your items will get to you soon. Also, I did order the brand new Valkyria Chronicles specifically for you and I didn't cheat you out of the $7.00 (in case you think I pulled a fast one on you). That one was ordered on Amazon and I sold it to you at cost. I think the confusion is that I mentioned I was mailing out your package originally and then ended up not doing so when I realized you had sent CAD instead of USD, so I waited to make sure everything was cleared and after the funds cleared my bank I mailed them out (at that point I had received the sealed Valkyria Chronicles).

Thanks again. Sorry for any mind-bending confusion ^_^ Don't worry about the messy details on my end, just enjoy your games and have fun :)

Well, it was the cost that was the least of my worries. I was just wondering how the hell I managed to receive that and wondered if you sent me two copies or what was going on. It was still cheaper for me since the $7 I paid I received from a website hosting invoice (Thus, it still costed me nothing).

I was merely just really confused at everything because seriously... I could not think of how you managed to get Valkryia in there at all.

I also kinda assumed you shipped the collections in separately, but I was just confirming so I can expect 1 more...

But it's only 1 more right? They are together in a single package? Or they in both seperate ones?

Yes, you are correct. One more package (they were shipped together in a single box). Should get there any day now. Heavier items and larger items tend to take a day or two longer typically for whatever reason. I blame customs ^_^ Let me know when you get them :)

The email was just saying I was having some Disney merch sent to you.

Once you receive it you can go ahead and ship it to me along with the Amazon stuff you have for me.

If you don't have the Blu order by then just ship whatever you have for me, and then you can ship the Blu order separately whenever you receive it.

Oh okay, no I definitely didn't get any Email about Disney merch. Way cool though (I'm a huge Disney fan ^_^ I even used to work there in Florida haha). Sounds good. Yeah, I still haven't received the Blu-Rays. I have a feeling they're going to take their sweet time with those :) Thanks for the update. Sorry I didn't get the mail. You can always contact me on here if you don't hear back. Thanks!

Setite, I was able to order your eBay game for you ^_^ and yes you got the payment info perfect. I will put it into the box with your other items and get those out to you soon. Thanks again!

goomba, you trade happiness :applause: My SMT collection is growing and I LOVE it :)
I will get all the USA releases soon at such rate, I guess it's time to start learning Japanese.
There is just one problem - I have to persuade my wife "Persona: revelations" is really worth what they ask for it

Haha yeah well good luck convincing your wife on that one ;) I'm glad to help you grow your collection. Now you have a Nintendo DS too so you can really start catching up on some excellent games. You're going to be very busy indeed!

** Important GFC Updates: 05/26/2009 **

Great news everyone! You may know this if you have been following my Lowball auction form posts, but I am nearly done with my new Lowball 2.0 enhancements. The auction pages will now support both internal GFC Lowball auction items as well as external eBay links (so you can see all my items at one time). In addition, after next week I will be opening the system up to the public so you can list your own Lowball and/or eBay items alongside mine absolutely free ^_^ I've poured a LOT of effort into it and I am continually bug-testing. Things are looking really promising though. I hope you guys will like the system!

** Direct Request Orders Cancelled as of 05/26/2009 **

As mentioned several times in recent posts, I will be cancelling all Direct Requests that have had more than 7 days passed without payment or further inquiry/response. After you have received an invoice from me and have not responded for a full 7 days, I will remove it from my system to keep things fresh, so I don't accumulate a large backlog of unwanted orders. Here are some of the newest additions. If you see your order/name on here feel free to contact me and we can work out something:

* "Sam" - WarioWare Touched (DS) - eBay Item
* "Kevin" - Premium High Resolution Universal 4 IN 1 HD Component AV Cable
* "Jay" - Zone of the Enders (PS2) - [Outbid on eBay]

I will try to list when items are cancelled out of my system to keep you guys up to date :) Thanks again!

Yoooooooo Goomba, just wondering if you let me know when my order is ready to ship out so I know approx. when I'll be receiving it. Thanks as always!

Pat_McCrotch you're looking at $46-$47 (including shipping and all fees) or a used copy of Valkyria Chronicles. My Gamestop coupon expires tomorrow though, so let me know. Not sure if you're interested or not :) Thanks!

CrushEm, it is shipping tomorrow :) I forgot that this weekend was a Holiday in the USA (Memorial Day). I'm packing it now and will have it out tomorrow morning. Enjoy ^_^

Thanks again!:)

You're very welcome Pat. Hope to work out something with you ^_^ The game is FANTASTIC by the way :) one of the only Must-Own PS3 games in my humble opinion.

Just wanted to know if any of you guys are currently selling any items on eBay? If so, let me know and I'll add them to my upcoming lowball list on Saturday (05/30/2009). The new site supports eBay links as well as my lowball format, which means you get free exposure of your items for free =) Let me know! If you want to see what items are going to be available (so far, more coming each day) you can find them here:

http://lowball.gamesforcanada.com

I hope to have nearly 100 items again this time ^_^ The sale will last 7 days with a rolling ending period. Thanks guys!
