GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

adrianchan56, nope. I'm not a gambler by any stretch of the imagination. I will occasionally have played slots or a couple spins of roulette in my day but I can't really afford to gamble so I stick on the casino's end where you're guaranteed to make money instead of lose it :) I was able to get around 24 copies of the Street Fighter in total, which isn't bad at all. If I had more mailing addresses I could have gotten more, but they were very strict about it with this sale. Oh well.

Setite, yup definitely. Are you ready to have the PS3 shipped to you yet? Let me know :) Thanks!

Heh I know how you feel goomba. I am not a big gambler either. I always think like "Well, i could try to win money, but may lose $40-60. Instead I could have much more fun buying a video game with that money."

Yeah Strife, exactly. I am up to my ears in video games as well so really I should just save my money. My wife and I are thinking of saving some money towards a down payment on a house right now as we are quickly outgrowing our apartment/townhouse and they plan to take away our free heating this winter (they will add electrical heating and perhaps gas heated water...which is really expensive). So as fun as slots or table games or poker may be, just totally not in my budget! Though occasionally (like this week) the local casinos will send me $10-$20 in free slot play or whatever with no strings attached, then I'll play. If I win, I make some free money, if I lose then it's no loss to me. Last time they sent me a $10 free slot play coupon I won almost $112 lol. Hope I can repeat that again ^_^

I'm heading to Niagara Falls tomorrow with the wife for a day of fun, and gambling at Fallsview is definitely on the agenda! Here's hoping I can win big at roulette! Come onnnnn black!

Hey Goomba,

Sorry to hear about the problems with Smurf over the Live cards, I guess it was bound to happen sooner rather than later seeing as how all the other people selling the cheap MS Points/Live Subs "ran out" at around the same time. I hope everything works out and you can get the rest of the codes though or at least get your money back. I did a trade with him to get some of the cheap points and he did seem like kind of a douche to deal with.

Also lastly, would I need to fill out a direct request on GFC if I plan on ordering an item from Amazon myself and having it shipped to your address? I am hoping to get the La Crosse BC-900 charger in my Gold Box again to order. And I know I still have that $2 Unreal still, hopefully that item can show up a little cheaper than $40. :)

Only half my message showed up it seems. Did you manage to get your hands on some 10$ "Dark Spire"? As long as they're good condition and include the bonus CD... anyway I have an amazon.com order for you soon enough.

Haha GameFanatic, best of luck to you! I never really play the colors straight up (2 to 1 odds are far from reliable when you have a slim chance of winning regularly), but instead use different pattern-based systems :) I won a lot of money once in Atlantic City using them but lost nearly all the winnings later on. Oh well, it is fun though while it lasts :)

Jbently, the jury is still out on Smurf. It's weird because the first 20 cards or so he was very reliable and fast, then towards the end suddenly he seemed a bit dodgy and didn't seem as responsive. Then, slowly but surely it turned out that he was a bit cocky and rude at times and went back on his promises. I shouldn't have sent him the last $300 on the last order of mine, but I had so many people pre-ordering that I had little choice. Oh well, you live and you learn :(

As for shipping items that you've ordered to my house, yes I do require you still fill out a DR form. I know it seems silly, but it's the only sure-fire way for me to keep track of all the items coming in and who they are for. I am about 40% done with the new DR form (that will dynamically load your address information from your user login). It's coming soon :) This week is again busy with my grandfather's funeral and family visiting and such, but I am working on it each and every day in some way. Thanks for understanding!

** GFC Daily Update **

Just wanted to let you guys know that a new batch of games are going out tomorrow. Almost all of you who have ordered the following games: Digital Devil Saga 1, Digital Devil Saga 2, Nocturne, Street Fighter IV (PS3) or Street Fighter IV (Xbox 360) will be having your games ship out tomorrow. You will receive an Email when they have shipped, so no need to question the status by PM or in the forum. Thanks again guys!

hey goomba478,
I'd like you to ship right now just the "Burnout" with "Tools of Destruction". I'd like to ship the PS3 in a week or two. Thanks :)

Hey goomba478

Just wanted to check how things are goin with my order Invoice#:451, as I did not receive any notification/status email after sending my payment.

You normally won't recieve any notification until he ships it. Also, I've yet to see Goomba ever not order something you get.

The only time you might wanna worry if it was a limited quantity item (IE: Limited = 1 left)

Hey Goomba, because I thought you may know... If you have a bunch of money in your paypal balance and have it hooked to a debit card... You can deposit that money into your account right?

Are the fees insane?

iag25, yes everything is going great with your order. Nike shipped it to me, and I am just waiting to receive it from them. When it ships out to you then you will receive an Email from me ^_^ I'm sorry. I don't respond to every payment I get, as I get too many, but rather tell you when I DON'T receive payment. Also, in the near future my new system will give you real-time updates on your status, so this is a temporary thing :) Thanks!

RoganSarine, yes if you have a bunch of money in your Paypal account you can use it for free with the Paypal Debit card (they actually give you 1-1.5% cash back when you use it). I think that's what you are asking. If not, then you can also deposit money from your Paypal account balance to your bank account for free (takes 3-5 days to transfer). If that's not what you're asking, let me know. The way you worded it is a bit confusing to me ^_^;;;

First of all thanks for the heads up on the shipping notice Goomba. Can't wait to get the LP! (= Hope you didn't have to use up too much of your packing materials on my LP. Much appreciated though that you do take the time to do that.

Second I've been away for a few days but I wanted to extend my condolences to you & your family on the passing of your grandpa.

I have a few requests in mind in the next couple of weeks, just got some bills to pay then I'll fire them your way. Thanks again for your services.
It was the latter half. They don't have the paypal debit card program in canada unfortunately, so it's quite a pain in that regard.
Yep, Paypal Canada is retarded like that.

Also, it takes 6-8 days to transfer from bank account in Canada which is also retarded.

Hey Goomba, got your confirmation. Thanks alot and hopefully shipping is not too delayed. Although i have a few packages out now and all have taken a fair bit longer than the post office quoted. :(

LouisVouistondonn - as far as I can tell the hat is just $15 with free shipping to USA so altogether mailed to Canada it is: $15 + $6 + $2 = $23 USD total!

Let me know if you want it :) Thanks!

Hey there dv8mad! Great to see you again :) I'm on my way to my grandfather's funeral/memorial service and today is also my anniversary with my wife, so it's a bit odd that they fell on the same day, but other than that, things are going pretty good. My little GFC business is busy as ever, I'm up to my ears in hours at my two jobs and life is pretty sweet most of the time. Still a bit poor, but happy anyhow. Hope you and Ai and Ryu are doing well. Keep me posted! I plan to do some more dv8mad sales very soon ^_^

Just wanted to say thanks again to all the kind wishes towards me and my family. The memorial service for my grandfather was today and it turned out to be really great. A ton of people showed up and it was really casual and sentimental, just the way my grandfather would have liked it. No casket, no real funeral service...just some family members saying nice things about him and talking about memories and a small sermon from a local pastor. Very nice indeed and lots of great food afterwards.

Then for the second half of the day, I celebrated my 6th anniversary with my wife (since today also happened to be our anniversary) and we went to a delicious authentic Japanese restaurant in Providence, RI. The owners are very friendly and we try to give them business whenever we can, despite the restaurant being over an hour away lol. Oh well...the food was superb as always :) We even got to use our free $10 coupon at the casino to play slots. We didn't win anything but it was fun playing for free without having to spend a penny of our own haha.

So if you guys wrote to me and didn't hear back from me today, now you know why. I have to work tomorrow morning but I will try to respond to a few PM's and Emails and maybe even a DR or two. Busy week, but things are slowly returning to normal for me and my family. Thanks again everyone for your support and friendship :)

Hey Goomba, my other hundred bucks clears tomorrow, so if you want to invoice me what I owe (remembering that the $50 on CC I want refunded)... Hopefully the shipping can be squeezed in there because I kind of guessed what it'd come to.

Good to hear the memorial service went well. Casual is the best way to go, at my grandmother's funeral (didn't have one for my grandpa since he outlived all his friends) it was just like a casual get together and was great. Jokes were flying left and right, best way to go. Seems like a fitting end for your grandfather Goomba :) Also, I like the way you think, Japanese restaurant for your anniversary, no better way to celebrate it.

RoganSarine, I sent you an updated invoice. Hopefully I got everything right ^_^ Take a look and see if everything makes sense. Thanks!

spike32, that's exactly what it was. Very laid back (it was in my grandmother's living room) and we had lots of jokes and stories to tell so it was by far the most comfortable "funeral" I've ever been to. As for the Japanese food: absolutely! It's funny because when I first met my wife (she's Chinese) she had a general dislike of all things Japanese and I never thought I could convince her otherwise. Slowly but surely over the last 8 years or so though I've been converting her :) I still like a larger amount of sushi, but she's catching up haha.

I did have silent hill origins on that list. I am a little confused though how you did my invoice. I know how how incorporated your extra $1 thing, but... I am paying the $81 price and that'll get me my $50 refund, or to get it do I need to pay the $130 thing?

RoganSarine, glad to know I'm not the only one confused (this is precisely why I generally do not order items for people before payment is received...it's not so much that I don't trust you guys to pay me, though that is the case occasionally, but rather it's just much much easier to keep track of ^_^).

The total was $139.50. I received your payments for $58.33 USD so $81.17 is the remaining balance for all of those games. I didn't include Silent Hill Origins though. Do you want me to add that in? Let me know. I'm off to bed in a few minutes. Thanks! Hopefully that makes sense to you. It's not a new invoice, but rather an updated one that includes your partial payment applied towards the total.

Wait, how did I send you $58.33? I sent $50 USD and $16.xx USD... Maybe the $50 was accidentally CAD, but I swore it was USD. Ha ha, this is a little more confusing than I thought it'd be.

I thought I sent more than I did... considers why my mind is screwed up.

Yeah, I want silent hill origins in for the cheapest I can get... I'm picking up shattered memories later. This will complete my Silent Hill series, my Ratchet series, baten kaitos series, and you laready completed the Shin Megami series, and a bunch of others.

Could have never have done it without you since finding games in canada can be a complete pain or too pricey.

Well RoganSarine, no worries :) We will work it out. I won't overcharge you or anything ^_^ We can go back through payment histories and my receipts and figure it out exactly. Unfortunately for today I'm done and I have to get up early, but there's always tomorrow :) I will go through your orders with a fine comb tomorrow and work it out. Thanks again for your patience.

You're very welcome though :) I'm glad to help you complete collections of yours!

AJD23, it's kind of hard to say. I do follow them in the order they were received but some items are pre-orders and such. So to answer your question:

I am almost 100% caught up to 420. I have a few that are shipping after that, and a few that are pre-orders, haven't been paid for, etc. inbetween. I am working as hard as I can ^_^ Getting lots of packages out each day! Thanks for checking up on me :)

** GFC Update **

For those of who ordered BlazBlue Art Books, I should have yours out in the next few days. The thing is, they shipped them all together in flimsy manila envelopes (not sturdy cardboard or bubble mailers). A few are slightly bent but nothing horrible. I am getting new packaging for them and will do my best to ensure they reach you in great condition. Should have them all out by Monday, so be sure to keep an eye out for the Emails :)

I was able to get all the copies of Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne with the exception of one or two copies (Amazon apparently ran out of stock and has it on hold, unfortunately). I will do my best to get you a copy but if I can't get one by the end of the week I will have to refund you for your copy. If you have received a shipping notice then you're fine, if not then just know that I'm doing my best :) Thanks!

Haha...I think my maturity shows when I chuckled at this line:
"I am almost 100% caught up to 420". LOL.
That's what happens when my mind is in a bored-state at 1:30am (EST that is).

LOL yeah I thought twice about changing it to 419 or 421 but I thought I should be factual =P I realize how that sounds in retrospect, but we've already been over the fact that I'm 100% a drug-free Goomba ^_^ unless you count Mountain Dew/Caffeine. Then I'm guilty as charged.

Ahhh...good ol' caffeine; can't do without it in the mornings and the all-nighters. I also drink energy drinks from time to time when I feel I need it (ie. opening shifts), especially after sleeping late. I've been told their extremely bad, but the Dr. continues to tell me I'm as healthy as an ox, I guess it's all about moderation really.

But if anything...if gaming was a drug, it would be my addiction.
Actually, either way, I'm addicted.

Just shipped another 5 art books, 10 games or so and a few other miscellaneous orders. It's incredible how many orders came in the last few weeks right when I was busiest :) Broke all kinds of records I'm sure!

The good news is life is returning to semi-normal for me again and I'm catching up very quickly! Tomorrow is my mom's birthday and I work in the daytime but I will be shipping like a mad man again tomorrow night. Thanks guys for giving me something to do hehe.

Yeah Goomba, you calculated it right. As I said, I thought I sent more with my credit card. Apparently, I hit the wrong number. Unfortunately, it also kind of threw off my own calculations.

Also, I recieved my okami, no more heroes, rogue galaxy, and god hand in pristine conditions. I have yet to try them, but it was a nice surprise when I got him. Also, the bubble wrap is always a welcome addition. I need some for some thanksgiving/christmas plates :p

If you could happen to find a cheap $10 copy of Silent Hill: Origins, I think I am contemplating giving you my first born child... Or not -- this could start getting creepy. Then again, this is what happens to my head when i just spent the last 8 hours of my vacation playing siren: Blood curse.

Hey goomba478,
my wife's package is here, she is very glad and surely will order more. Thanks again, you are doing a great job helping all of us.
Also, I've got email saying "Your package will be shipped by PayPal Shipping with U.S. Postal Service", just wondering why you chose to ship the current package with PayPal shipping :)
