GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. 3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.


Service Charges (GFC Premium):

$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items.This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

Erm, if that's the case we're really better off all getting our own. Plenty of Rozenqueen preorders don't do great, I think their recent Phantom Brave deal only sold in the 300 copy range (they still have preorder soundtracks now). So 1000 orders for them is pretty impressive. Plus they have First Class Mail available for $3.09 up to Canada, so they're really kinda unbeatable anyways.

Not that I'm trying to kill orders with our neigborhood Goomba :whistle2:# I'm just saying...

Last time I ordered from Rosenqueen, customs hit me with a 15$ charge. That was for Ar Tonelico. Never ordered from them since (well, except when I used to live in the US)

Everytime I've ordered from them (after their first pre-order UPS nightmare) they've sent games out with ~$1 values listed. I haven't gotten charged a cent of tax for any preorders from them (again, after they stopped using UPS for us) for the 8-10 packages I've gotten.

I am definitely in. I tried to pre-order it myself, but they wanted $65 to ship to Canada. Yikes.

EDIT: I stand corrected, they added a $3 shipping-to-Canada option either yesterday or today. Much better than $65.

Any chance you will be picking up any copies of the WalMart exclusive Big Screen editions of the Tranformers 2 Blu-Ray and DVD on release tomorrow (the ones with IMAX cuts of the movie)? I was going to get one of each (BD and DVD) here, but it looks like WalMart Canada will only be carrying the regular version.

The last time I ordered from them I was also taxed with a duty fee of $10.20, so I payed $70+ for Mana Khemia 2. It was the first and last time I'll ever order from them.

And what was the declared value on the outside of the package? I'm quite sure it was underdeclared just like Goomba does... You can't fault Rozenqueen because Customs cut open the package and found your receipt :roll: IIRC the last couple of receipts they've packed with my packages haven't actually listed $$ values, so that shouldn't be an issue anymore :bouncy: Even if it is, $19.99 should be under the taxation threshold.

Again, I'm not trying to steal Goomba's business. But Rozenqueen has been going out of their way to provide service to Canadians, and has been doing a decent job...
 
No, you have a great point. I'm just used to going through Goomba now. Pretty sure he understands too (this is a rare situation anyway). Guess I'll try going with Rosenqueen again then. But FOOL ME TWICE...

Edit: I just put in my preorder. Goomba please don't preorder Badman for me anymore, if that's OK.
 
dancrane212, my Target typically doesn't get many of these sale games. I'll check it out when I go down there but my guess is they sold out the first day they offered it (must have a lot of CAGs nearby).

So you can get them ordered through goomba & then have the games for this deal when they're live, which is when the games are released.

This would amount to a copy of AC2 or MW2 for $25+shipping+goomba's fees.

Great idea telepathy, I had wanted to rent both those games (Still have memories of Goldeneye and wanted to co-op halo with a buddy) so I guess it is like a free rental and 50%(ish) off COD4MF2.

Just put in a DR.

Also...Any news on Madworld?

Gombay, no sorry to say I am all out of the Xbox cards and haven't seen any reliable places to buy them cheap lately. As always, I will list them on my site when they're in stock, so if they're not in stock I don't know where to get them. The last time they went on sale for $30 I was at work and they sold out in less than an hour. I'm guessing they'll go on sale again around Black Friday (end of November) but no guarantees of course. I'll let you know.

Thank jeebus. But I mean, Deluxe Editions were still available yesterday so those who didn't get one... probably just didn't pre-order like I did?? Anyway, I'll put in a preorder for Illvelo soon.

I don't know what the value was, chucked that box out ages ago. Well then customs should be more consistent, because a lot of people weren't charged a fee who ordered the same thing I did. I honestly never understood the rules to the whole custom thing, but because I'm still bitter about it Rosenqueen is out for me, even if it's not they're fault (yep, I'm a baby like that).

Dancrane212, I thought you had gotten my Email about it but here's the summary: Your MadWorld was ordered but Gamefly thought it was an error (since I ordered a few copies). So they contacted me last Friday and said they are shipping it out to me. I should have it any day now. Sorry for the wait. They don't usually get multiple orders for single games so they thought it was an error and put the order on hold. No worries, it should be here very soon!

Azumangaman, if you want to sell items through me on eBay the best thing really to do is to mail it to me and then I'll do the rest. It's a bit messy to have you ship it directly to the customer. If you mail it to me then I'll take care of it. You'll keep all the money after the eBay fees and my 15% cut. Let me know if you want to do it :)

TheCurse9, no worries. I did indeed receive your copy. I should have all the copies mailed out by Friday. Just have a lot of packages to order and as always I process packages in the order I get them and in the order that they were put in from you guys. I try to be as fair as possible :) keep an eye on your Email inbox.

TronB, as it is my understanding if anything is shipped USPS and is marked under $45-$50 as a GIFT then there are no customs. Rosenqueen probably marked it as MERCHANDISE which is generally taxable or perhaps marked it above the customs limit. In any case, it's a fine art but one I'm quickly understanding as well. Custom fees suck for sure but sometimes they're unavoidable on expensive items. For low cost items, we generally don't have to pay them though luckily :)

Haha, well I try shadow_nine, I really do. You guys may think I'm slacking lately but it's not actually the case. I've just seen my DR's go from 1-2 a day to like 15-20 a day during the week. So it's really been a LOT of extra work for me and my job has surprisingly been keeping me long hours (which is good, but leaves less time for Emailing). So keep in touch and I'll keep invoicing/shipping :)

telepathy, it won't make much difference really since they're pretty light weight. Light enough to ship first class anyway, so no it shouldn't matter.
 
Mirror's Edge isn't showing up for me as available unless I rent it and then "keep it" for the $10 price. It is available for the Xbox 360 but the PS3 isn't showing up for me. But it will be $16.50 shipped to Canada (includes tax for CT Residents) for all the $10 Gamefly games. Thanks!
 
$16.50 USD is definitely higher than I'd want the game for, so I'll pass. Thanks though :p

As much as I want to try the game... $15 CAD is the maximum I will pay for it :p I'll just wait or never get it.
 
Okay well...not much I can do about that :) Sorry man. It's a really good game by the way. I liked it a lot though I never was able to finish it on my rental period. I'm just so busy these days =P I would like to beat it some day though.

Saturday afternoon I will be spending almost all day in my state's capital city (Hartford) with the wifey and Sunday I'll be working at the casino but still processing a ton of orders. Monday will resume shipping. You see how the cycle goes by now I'm sure.

Just keep an eye on your inboxes. I have a ton of new packages I'm going to pick up now at my UPS Drop location which means many new orders for you guys will be going out in the next couple of days. Hang in there if you think I forgot about you (I didn't!).
