GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

Oh and I'm working again tomorrow morning at 9:45 - 5:45 PM but I'll be processing orders from 6PM-Midnight or later so I should get a lot done then. If I didn't respond to your DR yet please just hang in there. If it's really limited, then consider using my UPS account. No other option really for me at this point.

Hey Goomb, I don't know if the EB thing ends in an hour or what... So, I'm normally not really caring if send me an email... But, I never got a confirmation if you did process the 6 games for $18.70?

Also, with that being, I believe, something like 12-15 games... How much do we theorize the shipping will be? I got approximately $30 in gift cards, and a ~$137 credit ($27 if you consider refunding the credit card thing back to my credit card, since I spent ALOT less on Black Friday than I anticipated).

telepathy - I will just go ahead and update you here rather than add yet another email to what is more than likely an already large list that goomba has.

As you know, I did win the Key 10th auction for you. We did not hear from the seller for two days afterward, so we sent a request for the payment info. The next day, he sent it, but said that he needed our address for the shipping. We sent that just minutes after receiving his message and, as of yesterday, have yet to hear back from him. I have instructed my wife to email him today (I'm working) if we do not receive a message by this evening. Hopefully we will be able to get it soon and get the shipping total to The Great White North worked out.

Goomba: I put in the DR for my mmawarehouse order for my brother. All the information needed is included in the extra notes as well.

Hit me up when it shows up and we'll figure out the best way to disperse the ship-offs.

Thanks.

The games you asked me for weren't showing up when I looked for them online. Many of them said "Available in local stores only". I'm working until 5:45 though which means the local stores will be closed. I will try again later to see if any of them came back in stock though. Did you want me to just get the games that I am able to and forget the ones that are out of stock? Let me know. I'll check my Email from work. Thanks!

flames23, I should be able to catch up on the mega-list of DR's today. Yours is the newest of the bunch so just hang in there. I'm periodically going through them and trying to find any that are limited-time offers to catch them before they expire. It sucks that my workplace has me working so many hours on this weekend, but I promise I'll go through them all. Thanks for your request!

fuck, the #1 item I wanted jumped up in price :(
Oh well, I still want it.
So Goomba, if you see a price increase from $12.99 to 17.99 PLEASE still get it :)

Who is this for? Me? They... sold out? :(

Amazon cracks me up sometimes. They shipped half of my order to goomba, the 24 pack of crayons for my son I used as a filler... Cost of crayons $3. Cost of shipping the crayons $2.34.

Try not to laugh too hard when you get the crayons goomba!

Puppetyuber, GCO requires me to send you an actual invoice each time from Google Checkout, which is more labor intensive but it works. Do you currently use Google Checkout or should I just send it to the Email I have on file? Le tme know.

tkszeto, lol they're crazy :) I won't laugh I promise! Crayons are great little things indeed.

Oh and guys I just got back from work so I'm back to processing DR's. One more day of work and then I'm off for 10 days straight, so one more day away from getting things caught up. Thanks for understanding. Really sorry for any deals I missed out on due to business. I warned you =P

Goomba! Question! Are we able to sort of "give" you a gift card in exchange for the same amount off a future order? For example, I use SwagBucks, and have about $30 worth in Amazon.com gift cards at the moment. If I just send you those gift cards, could you buy me a set of headphones from another website with the gift card total subtracted? Let me know, thanks!

I dont have a google checkout account, just send me an invoice to the email you have on email. I will pay asap

game_fanatic, absolutely! That's the idea...heck, I even have it in my CAG signature now :) Yes you can trade in Amazon Gift Cards (Amazon only for now but I may open to other stores) for 1:1 credit with my DR service. Send me $30 in Gift Cards for Amazon and I credit your account $30 in USD towards future purchases. Simple as that :)

Azumangaman, I really do apologize. These last few days have been nuts. 8 Hour shifts+ for each day (when I normally only work 4-5) and nonstop invoicing/packing. I will cancel your item requests. Hope you understand.

PuppetYuber, okay great. I'll try to send the invoice tonight or tomorrow. Still going down the list. I feel bad I missed some people's sale items, but I had no option as it was just working around the clock and hardly sleeping for me the last few days ;(

Anyone here interested in trading CAD for USD? Just want to throw the option out there as I'm about to cash in 900 CAD and I'd rather not give Paypal the rate they're asking for. Let me know. Thanks!

Thanks, but I already converted it :( I would have done it otherwise. Sorry I didn't make that clearer ^_^ I don't expect most of you to have 900 bucks sitting in your paypal accounts. I just had to order a bunch of items for a guy who sent me all his money in CAD so I wanted to convert it fast to get the orders in before midnight. No problem though, thanks for the offer telepathy. I'm sure it's not the last time I'll have CAD to switch out =)

Hey Goomba, Just a quick question. If I was interested in Amazon's $40 Uncharted 2 deal I could send it to your address. Then you can send it to me. For costs, this would be the game, which I would purchase, then $3 shipping to me in canada? Am I missing anything?

Well if this ever happens again in the near future, let me know. I'm having someone sell stuff on my behalf & he sends me everything in USD. As much as how USD is good, I really hate the shitty rate they give when trading down (1.03? seriously?). Sometimes it's nice to have some CDN in my paypal so I can transfer it to pay off CC & other stuff.

telepathy, I'll definitely let you know if I get more CAD. Thanks!

strife18, another thing. If you order games yourself please remember to use my DR form and in the comments put "Already Paid, Sent to UPS account" or something similar to let me know. I will be putting together a "Self Order" request form sometime in December but haven't finished it yet. Thanks!
telepathy, I'll definitely let you know if I get more CAD. Thanks!
Actually forgot to note, 1.03 wasn't the worst. It was when it was offering 1.01 that i was really mad. Around that time, it was when my friend was going to send me money in CDN & I told him 2 send it to me in USD cause he'd be losing money (since all his paypal funds were in USD) & I'd even be willing to pay the difference, but he chose not to listen :(.

Long story short, never convert down & then back up. That's just feeding paypal more conversion fees. (so evil -_-)

K well i probably won't be picking it up right now. $46 plus exchange puts it at around $50, It sells in stores at $59. I also have a good backlog of games that at sometime in the near future it there will be a $10 off sale locally.
Thanks though

It's all good. I appreciate the notion. God knows I have enough orders and packages to keep me busy for the next 1-2 weeks :) When it rains, it pours!

Hey. Did you get my PM, Goomba? I sent you my paypal account. But if you can, can you find the transaction and issue a refund? There should be an option.

Thanks. PM me if anything.

So, uh, Goomba... Can you clarify if that statement on the previous page was for me or something else? I looked over the posts, and I can't see anyone else who would have had a similar problem with their order and you listed no name.

Congrats on the excellent price on Chaos Wars telepathy :) and yes, I don't see why not!

Sepharite, you had sent me money for Left 4 Dead 2 (PC) and I had put the order in, so once I receive the item and return it (and get my funds back), then I can refund you. I can't refund you yet because I don't yet have the item you paid for and I ordered :) If that makes sense. Should be roughly a week and I'll get you the funds back. Please note that if you order items from me and ask to return them the service charge ($2.00) is non-refundable. Thanks!

RoganSarine, yes I was talking about your Gamestop Order. When I went to order them only one of the games was in stock and all others showed as being in-store only. Sorry again, but I told you that this would likely happen this week with so many crazy orders coming in and not as much time to process as I'd like (or need). I'm sure they'll do another B2G1 before Christmas anyhow.

Eh... Hm.

well, I guess I'll just take what I ordered from GoHastings then because I think the games that were left... Wasn't erally anything I'd ever go back to and play. Also, thanks to Ragnar... I can play Shadow of Destiny.

If you can just refund the $110 (since I have like $137 in credit still) of my mastercard payment, that'd be great. The rest remaining should cover the shipping approximately.

I guess I'll start working on my current gen library... or something.

Okay, money has been sent. When you get the chance, check off payment received. Thanks again, it was an excellent buy & congrats on the $100+ you got for your sealed blazblue PS3.

telepathy, thanks. I'd be happy with the $100+ on PS3 BlazBlue if I didn't lose so much money on the Xbox 360 version and the Collector's versions of the Street Fighters and other games :( so while it was a nice surprise for that one game, I lost a lot on the others.

Also, I paid like $80 for Modern Warfare 2 for a a Direct Request order. I got the item but then they wanted to cancel the order. Thinking I could recoup the cost of the game I put it on eBay. It sold for the full price but the guy never paid me and I had to relist it. The second time around I lost almost $30 on it. This is specifically why I cannot buy items for people before they pay for them and why I have to keep the service charge if you cancel on me after I have ordered an item. It just sucks for me :(

Oh and RoganSarine, I double checked and I did in fact pay you the $27.99 for the eBay item on 11/12/2009. It was in the form of a Paypal Refund in case you didn't catch that. After your GoHastings order (which doesn't yet include shipping to Canada) I have you as having a $55 credit available. Am I missing something or are you just forgetting the Hastings order and confused about the eBay payment? Please let me know :) I can never quite figure out how you calculate these things. Keep in mind I'm using the top of the line Quickbooks software so my numbers tend to be accurate, but I may be overlooking something. I'd like to square away this once and for all as it's giving me a headache ^_^ thanks!

Yeah that does suck that you didnt get that much on the SF4s (probably because of the announcement of super street fighter 4, but $30 for the 360 version? seriously?), and I could understand your policy on getting money first & then buying. But cancelling an order after you've already made it hurts a lot too. I hope people don't abuse you like that goomba, I really do.

Exactly...Super Street Fighter IV did me in, I paid almost $80 for each of those SFIV games I believe, but yeah that really hurts :) Oh well. Like you said, I made up for it more or less with the other games. Just re-enforcing my decision to not buy games on the hopes that they'll be worth more in the future. Once I deplete my stocks then I'll be whole again ^_^

Don't worry. Not too many people abuse my system as I have pretty strict rules most of the time on how I do business. Just a few that slip through the cracks. This guy didn't really rip me off in this case. He just pre-ordered it, I refunded him and I forgot to cancel the pre-order so I had the item shipped to me and thought I'd be better off selling it rather than returning to Amazon (and paying return shipping). Oh well :) bad judgment on my part. You win some you lose some.

I'm off to bed now ^_^ one more day before I finally get some time off. I work Wednesday but have almost 10 days straight off from the casino job. Woo hoo! Cya soon guys.

Sorry, I'm confused. I thought you said you didn't have time to order it, which is why I was asking for a refund. So you did order it then, at the 29.99 price? I guess I'll check back in a week. Thanks.

Hey goomba, have my games and gamepads been delivered to you? Will you be able to ship them before you go to LA? I don't mean to be a pain in the ass, I know you are very busy, but I would really appreciate it. I'm afraid the package will arrive here only in January if you ship it after your trip.

Yeah I ended up spending a lot of money on street fighter 4 (namely i bought the EU collector's edition as well as buying up the blu-ray/soundtrack from someone locally for $50 thinking it would be worth something). I figure if you can sit on the stuff long enough, it will appreciate eventually, but if you have to sell now, then you're screwed if the price drops in the meantime. The stuff I've been buying, I'd hope I'd be able to hang on to this stuff for at least a couple of years then sell it off when it's either rare or appreciate in value due to it's age. So, point being, never give up! If you can hold on to the stuff long enough I think it will always appreciate in value (this applies mainly to LEs & such but you never know).

Example 1: Eternal Poison, having multiple price drops all around & me buying them at launch for full price on the speculation that they would be worth more in the long run (currently looking like a dud, but if I'm lucky the price will go up eventually ...)

Example 2: Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner 2, also bought at launch, & hoping will appreciate in value somehow (right now, not as good as I'd had hoped but presumably, in the future, it will get better somehow).

Example 3: Buying copies of the Tales of Vesperia Special Edition hoping they will go up more as well (they might, as long as the PS3 version hasn't been announced, with a special edition of their own).

Example 4:Buying SF4 CE material (like mentioned earlier), basically a bust, but maybe it might go back up one day?

But yeah, ranting aside, if anyone's interested, they should see if they can get in on this 360 deal:
http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=244333

It's the MW2 bundle + Dragon Age + Assassins Creed 2 + 3 mths free xbox live for $399.

edit: Also something else worth mentioning:
http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=244508

Buy NSMB Wii & get ANY Wii game 1/2 off (well, technically it's supposed to be equal or lesser value but people are putting things like dj hero & such so maybe it works?)

Sepharite, not a problem. I did in fact get you a copy :) I just had written you to let you know that it's possible they wouldn't send me more copies, but they did in fact send me a shipping notice. So I should have it by Thursday probably. Thanks!

Setite, I did order them but I'm not 100% sure I'm going to LA anymore (can't really justify the price, so I may just go to the New York event and take a train there rather than stay overnight). I should have your items by Thursday as well. I'll let you know :) Thanks buddy.

RoganSarine, okay I'll go check it :)

Ninja Robot Pirate, no problem. If you submitted erroneous requests I should be able to sort through them and figure it out ^_^ One more day of work today and I will have tomorrow for catching up. Trying to process all Cyber Monday sales today if possible!

Beautiful then. :D Then don't worry about the refund, I'll just see if I can resell it (so don't worry about the note where I said to send the CDkey) after as I just bought it off Steam last Friday. Thanks man.
