This is a bit off topic, but I couldn't figure out anywhere else to ask. Does anybody know why Gamestop's weekly ad still shows the "SEE HOW YOU CAN GET 30% MORE FOR YOUR TRADES" promo, but when you go to www.gamestop.com/30more it pulls up the expired coupon (from 12/4 - 12/6)? I'd love to use this, and it appears as though it should be valid, but they never updated the coupon. Any knowledge on this subject would be appreciated. Thanks!
Thanks for the coupon, OP! Used it to get the Halo 3 Sling Bag...although, I don't think they did it right. I didn't get the discount on the Super Mario Galaxy ornament...oh well, it was already half-price, so what's another 50¢?
Play cheap, baby.

My GS always finds a way to screw up this coupon; Today I got Contra 4 and RE: Umbrella Chronicles, intended to use the coupon, and after a while of finicking around, the employee got it to work, I gave her my CC and got the transaction done, I checked the receipt to find out she only took off 10 percent on RE, and not Contra 4. This happened once before when I purchased The Orange Box and another DS game, only giving the discount on one game and not the full transaction.

I never want to make a big deal out of it because it usually just ends up in me not getting an extra 2 or 3 dollars off, but still, it is frusterating how this always seems to happen. Anyway, I was really hoping by chance they'd have a PO version of both games, so I could have stacked this with my Edge, but as usual, slim selections of quality games for both the Wii and DS. I'm holding out for Mass Effect PO so that I can get it 20 percent off.

Traded in a buncha stuff (nothing I had any hangups getting rid of, except maybe Heavenly Sword) with a 30% bonus for trade-in value and edge card stack (for a total of 40% extra trade-in value), then used this coupon to buy Rock Band PS3 for $152.

Now I have $30 trade-in credit left over for UT3. Thanks OP!

I actually was having that discussion with myself as well, whether to trade in heavenly sword. So instead I traded in RFOM which netted me about 25 bucks w/ coupon at my GS.

I already had 42 bucks in store credit and along with my trade-ins today I ended up with about 140. Used that to buy UT3 (w/ 10% off coupon)...definitely a game I wouldn't mind buying full price w/out store credit

See, I didn't think that was possible. I assumed it applied to the whole set of games. But the same thing happened to me today. Actually, I bought 2 $19.99 items at 2 different stores. I got the discount on both at one, and only on one item at the second. Since we're talking $2 here I'm not going to bother going back there. But it is annoying, especially as I thought he told me the correct total with both discounts applied ($35.98). Apparently he said $37.98 or was just tricking me ;).

Thanks and I got a few questions.

Do I print the whole thing and take it to the store or cut just the 10% off part?
Also
What is that address at the bottom?

Any reply is appreciated!

You can just cut out the 10% off part but you might want to also leave the instructions on there just in case the clerk doesn't know how to use it. That's the GameStop corporate address at the bottom.

Does anyone know if you can use this coupon when buying Xbox Live Points?

My initial guess is no, since someone said earlier it wouldn't work for a Live subscription card...

Ack, I missed the post where someone already said it won't work on points. Nevermind.

with scissors or using a computer app (paint, photoshop, etc.)?

BTW THANKS F0R ANSWERING MY QUESTION

you can use it until they recognize you and realize that you have used it before. I have used it 3 times at the same store, even with the same clerk.

They do not track it.

Yeah, YMMV on the usage. I almost had it rejected at one store (when I was picking up Mass Effect) because the guy accused me of using it before, which I actually hadn't done (at that store). Then at another GS they said "isn't this coupon great" and happily accepted it even though I used it the day before - just depends on who you get!

Here's 4 of them on one page. Just print it out on standard paper and cut them with a scissors.:)

Did anybody able to use the coupon for Rock Band successfully? I asked the manager and was told the coupon may not apply since it has hardward inside. I was trying to get Rockband tonight but forgot to bring in my strore credit. He sais he will definitely try to scan in to see if it works once i come back.

I used it on RockBand. If it doesn't work, he is lying to you. Go to another store.

i also got it to work but at another store some dbag guilt tripped me like crazy for abusing the 10% coupon so i just might return it and just my cc gamers card to score the 10% off anyways

Guys, apparently this works on games, accessories and DVDs. It will not work on points. Was denied when trying to get it to combine with Wii Points.

I still think it was funny that this worked on my EDGE card renewal. :D

Izzat so? Thanks for the tip, shrike. Mine expires next month, so I'll give it a try before then. :D

Yeah, I was surprised it worked too. The associate cashing me out told me it wouldn't work on an edge membership, but when I looked at the receipt it did, so was a nice surprise.
