Was at the mall's food court and saw an Gamestop partnered with Coca-Cola advert type of thing, text a number and led me to this code that is the same code they give you no matter what phone numbers you text them with.

Expires 9/30/2012


I tried to do this online and code wasn't valid, so in-store only guys! Utilize that In-store pick up :)

I'm guessing that as soon as this guy joins CAG, he gets banned immideately after. It's so obvious that it's Pepsiman due to his horrible typing, his "dun mak fun if mee" and his hatred of Coca-Cola. Mods can ban him instantly before he has the chance to make *much* trouble.

Guys they are now trying to tell Gamestops to stop accepting the code even though it expires on the 30th

I told him to punch the code in and of course it still worked.

But he was a jerk and still cancelled the transaction
 
it sounds like your guy is BSing you. if corporate really want them to stop accepting the code they could just take it off their system right?

Yes they all talk. They know who I am. 3 of them were there when I used the code and the store only has 6 employees. They had a meeting with the new DM specifically about the coupon and they know I already used it at that location. The next closet location is also aware I used the coupon at their store. I try to fly below the radar, but everyone knows me because I always buy cheap CEs at the local stores.
 
so i went to buy 2 ghost snipers 2 days ago and the dude was douchy and said i could only get one, i said cool ill be back tomorrow. went in yesterday and it said 34 or whatev, im like can you check that price, yep 34.xx or something. that sucks, lol, oh wellz, at least i was able to flip 1. yeah and i keep using that code ;)
 
If everyone at every gamestop knows you then you must live in a really small town or you must be one annoying/troublesome customer.

Any chance I can use this coupon twice in the same transaction? I wanna combine it with a B2G1 free coupon to get Sleeping Dogs, Tekken Tag 2 and a free game.
 
I was gonna use this on motorstorm apocolypse but the used price dropped twice this month and its 17.99 now. I used my credit to get it yesturday :). Why is pacific rift still 24.99 though ?

Because PR is a better game. I was unimpressed with MA.
 
After two weeks of hunting for Tales of Grace F at most Gamestops around me, I finally scored one with the cover art and manual for $22.xx.

I live in a large city. But like I said I pretty much only buy CEs of games when they drop or are converted so the stores know me as the CE guy.
 
I don't think this deal is so awesome that GS would just shut it down before trying to corral it with a one per customer limit. A $29.99 game for $19.99 they probably paid $15 for at trade-in is still a $5 profit for GS.

decided to pick up New Super Mario Bros 2 for 22.49. I felt I might as well get it as nintendo games have a habit of keeping their value for a long time (see Mario Kart DS, New Super Mario Bros, Super Mario 64 DS etc.)

You need to show proof on your phone of the text, otherwise employees are instructed not to accept the code.

1) Coupon applies before PUR discount
2) Coupon applies after PUR discount
3) Coupon applies after both PUR discount and tax - highly unlikely, but there are some times where retailers consider the coupon a form of "payment"

The discounts come off in this order. They recently changed how coupons are processed.

1) 25% off code comes off first (not sure if these are still good. this wa my old post)
2) $10 coke code
3) PUR

Coupon first, then PUR discount on price after coupon, then tax.

How are they controlling this? I have used this code several times in the past and 2 times today.
 
yeah i have used it 3 times in the past week. def ymmv. and i never showed them my phone. i just wrote it down on a piece of paper.

Mine came with the voucher but it was already used, so YMMV. I am happy regardless because it also came with a free month of PS+ code and that worked. I consider it an upgrade for $8 (traded my original GOW 3 at best buy). So not too shabby.
 
18 for God of War Saga. Gonna see how my GoW collection and 3 trade-in tomorrow for possily a few dollar upgrade.

Without an unused voucher all you will get is GOW 1, 2, & 3 on disk so tread with caution.
 
sigh...another purchase lol. I picked up God of War Saga for 17.99 + tax. The cool thing is their manager just traded it in apparently and he said he didnt use the Origins voucher...so he gave it to me from across the counter. Made this deal a no brainer for me.

On another note, I can say this coupon really did make me purchase things from Gamestop. I mean, this is the 4th game Ive bought with it...something that is unheard of for me. Rarely do I shop at Gamestop, and even more rarely do I spend >=20 dollars a game no matter what. Looks like the promotion worked at least on me...

Wait how is God of war saga ringing up 17.99 or 18.99?

Price is $29 regular $26.99 power-up rewards

Coupon works for games $29.99 and up

so if i don't use my powerup rewards i can get the game for 19.99


where are you guys getting your numbers from?
