Starting TOMORROW:

Buy 2 Used items...Get 1 Free!

Trade in a Nintendo 64, PSone(i think only the small one) or original GBA, and get the following: (NOTE: The 1 Game no longer applies...)

NEW XBox for 119.99
NEW Gamecube for 69.99
NEW GBA SP for 69.99

(Considering you only get 12 for an N64 and 20 for the GBA or PSone to begin with, this is a pretty sweet deal)

Trade in your old games for the new ones!
Trade in Spider-Man (PS2/XBox/GC) and get Spider-Man 2 for 39.99 when you reserve it(Pretty sweet, considering you only get 3.00 regularly for Spider-Man
Madden 2004 to Madden 2005 for 39.99
GTA: Vice City for Xbox to Driver 3 for 34.99
GTA: Vice City PS2 to Driver 3 for 39.99
NCAA Football 2004 to NCAA Football 2005 for 39.99
Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance (NOT SONS OF LIBERTY) to Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater for 39.99.
Resident Evil (I think just Resident Evil...maybe 0, check with your local store) to Resident Evil 4 for 39.99

The above offer is only valid when you RESERVE the game. You basically get a $10 deposit when you trade them in. This is a limited time thing.

Prince of Persia will be $29.99 New. Probably drop to 27.99 or 24.99 used.

Soul Calibur GC for 14.99 NEW.

Trade in 3 Xbox/Ps2/Gamecube games, get a bonus $10 Gamebucks. Old sports/wrestling games and demos do not apply. Subject to management approval.

The new Game Informers also have an additional 10% off coupon plus the 10% with the discount card, for a total discount of about 19% (Which is more than employees get...BTW) This CAN be combined with the Buy 2 Get 1 Free.

There ya guys go. Not really supposed to reveal any new marketing stuff, but I felt I should contribute somewhat. Keep this on the hush hush.

EDIT: I don't knowa lot about the GameInformer website, but it is technically not part of Gamestop stores, they have different prices, sales etc.

Today, in EB Games, I saw two deals that caught my eye. One was a used Gamecube for $80, with a $30 mail in gift voucher, essentially making the Gamecube $50. There was no end date on the sign. I also saw in store N64's for $15. These would be worth picking up for the trade in deal mentioned above at Gamestop.

What happened to the sweet monthly deals that used to be on the game informer web page? They would have a used X-box witha game they selected for like 119.99. They still have th eold deals up but haven't made one for may

Nice. I'm waiting for POP to drop to $20 (PH or GH status) and use the GGC to get it for $15. Seems like it's getting closer now.

Sucks that those gamestop people won't take my GBA otherwise I'd trade it in a heartbeat.

The extra $10 credit sounds cool, especially since they seem to give more credit than EB.

sounds to good to be true but...
GTA: Vice City for Xbox/Ps2 to Driver 3 ?

Trade in Vice city and get Driver 3 free? free game or just a free reservation?

From the original post, it looks like trade in Vice City, get Driver 3 for $39.99 (like the Spider-Man/Spider-Man 2 example given. It doesn't sound like a very good deal to me.

Yes, Unfortunately I already had Splinter Cell so lost out on this deal. Oh well, POP for $20 in October (when it should become Platium status, GH status Players Choice. Etc.) seems bound to happen. I can wait till then considering the large stash of games I haven't beat yet

Oddly, they didn't have any offers for may. But in their June issue, they have the page back, here's June's console offers.

Preowned Xbox system with free preowned Hitman 2- $119.99
Preowned Gamecube system with free preowned Robotech: Battlecry- $79.99
Preowned Gamecube system with free preowned Star Fox Adventures- $79.99
Preowned Playstation 2 system with free preowned Gran Turismo 3- $129.99
Preowned Playstation 2 system with free preowned Enter the Matrix- $129.99

I'm guessing that the price drop of the PS2 didn't affect these offers in time.

The new Game Informers also have an additional 10% off coupon plus the 10% with the discount card, for a total discount of about 19% (Which is more than employees get...BTW)

Can someone explain this to me? Let me guess it takes a subscribtion? How do I get a discount card?

Thanks,
Chris

Trade in 3 Xbox/Ps2/Gamecube games, get a bonus $10 Gamebucks.
This has been available in my area since last AUG/SEPT.
Not all stores have this, I guess it's on depends on your store. Some have said that they have the buy 2 get 1 free deal still, but not everyone's store has that,

All I know is that the program has been highly successful and was continuously offered since introduced. The buy 2 used, get 1 free deal comes and goes in my area.

Yeah, the deal doesn't say it excludes anything, possibly even including the new NES GBA SP.

As for the 3 for Extra $10, it comes and goes, when I was first hired it was practically a permanent thing, now they keep doing it and ending it.

For the trade in old console + one game for cheaper new console deal, can anyone confirm that the original playstation model doesn't work for the trade in, just the PSOne? And when it says to trade in one game, is that one game for any system? Or one game for the system you're trading in? And are there any restrictions for which games to trade in?

Thanks for the deals. This really helps me out because I was planning on trading in a bunch of PS2 games very soon. I'll just wait another week and get 10 free bucks!

Wow trade in old Madden and NCAA and get ten bucks off of each, not a bad deal. How long does this deal last, I am not sure I am ready to trade these games in though.

Just to let everyone know, a GBA trade in (if it has battery cover) is $25 at gamecrazy, so for $5 more you get to keep your game and get your GBASP for $75 as opposed to $70.
when you trade in an n64 or ps1 or gba are the xbox, gamecubes and gb sp's new? or used?
It says they are NEW.
Does the buy 2 get 1 free deal apply to used Dreamcast and N64 games? I'm pretty sure it does, but I just want to make sure.
Yeah, it does.

A lot of store that still have DC stuff have it with an additional 30% off. With your Gamestop card you get another 10% off used DC games plus an additional 10% off if you have a coupon that is in the latest Game Informer.
With the buy 2 get one free sale going on, it's a great time to stock up on DC games.

I went to Gamestop to pick up Soul Calibur II for $14.99 on Friday, and their flyer had the GBA trade-in deal, but you had to toss in a game as well to get a GBASP for $70. Without the game requirement, I might consider it...

Thanks a lot.

Thanks so much for the advance posting...

I picked up Ninja Gaiden (XBOX), Lord Of The Rings ROTK (Xbox), and Mario Party 5 (GC) + a magazine sub + an additional 10% off all for ~81.00.
