to be fair, FO3, NV, and Skyrim, were all buggy on all platforms at launch. PS3 had some unique problems, to be sure, and I definitely benefitted from playing F03 and NV late in the dev cycle so the major problems were solved. but I also platted skyrim on the 1.02 patch, and other than needing to reload my game every once in awhile after multi hour sessions, it was smooth.
not trying to argue, just pointing out to anyone who is listening that there is a big difference between having a few annoying bugs (which they do) and being unplayable (which they are not, seeing as how i played through all 3 w/ few problems, and platted the least polished).
in a b2g1 sale, after all the patches are done, FO3 and NV are great Ps3 games, especially at the price....if you paid $59.99 for them on launch day to watch your system melt down, they are not as great.
Oblivion GotY edition vampire purification quest is still bugged, and Skyrim PS3 is unplayable for most people after their save file grows to over 6 MB. I know from Colin Moriarty's rants there's a lot of quests in FO: NV you can't progress further if certain things happen, not sure if those got fixed or not since he hasn't talked about it.
Also a lot of people in my area don't have internet, so they can't get their games patched. Just wanted to let people know if they have a choice that PS3 should be the last choice. If not, then wait for several months to a year to get any of those games on PS3.
