Your 10% amounts are all funky also. It was like he rewrote all the base values also.

Yep, it is the 50% code.

Here's the deal for NFS:MW 2012 in any case.

Base value = $17. He added $18 for some reason. I guess he failed at math because that would make it $35 which isn't right for either the bonus promo or the 50% extra, unless maybe he was trying to do both manually.

Then both the 50% promo and PUR got applied on the new override total value of $35.

So base ($17) + override ($18) + 50% promo (0.5 * $35) + PUR Pro (0.1 * $35) = $56.

It would have been complicated to get it to work out, but even with the (normally not allowed) promo stacking you should have gotten $17 + $13 (bonus value) + $8.50 (50% of base) + $1.70 (10% of base) = $40.20. But whatever - you got seriously lucky! ;)

A long time ago (like when the PS3 and Wii first came out) I knew a store manager who stacked promos for me. While I never got anything that outrageous, it was always complicated to work it out exactly and I'd come out ahead no matter what he did for the same reason: overrides to the base value stack with promos. He tried to put in less of an override to make up for it, but never quite got it right.

I just traded in a DS3 controller. The guy turned it on to make sure it worked, then pushed all the buttons, then swirled the sticks a bit. He also looked at the barcode on the back, not sure why though. Overall, he didn't do a great job of testing it, just went through the motions.
 
Obviously GameStop has access to a time machine. They will jump back to the past with all these trade-ins and sell them at full price.

That's why all the games are gutted.

The last 4 times I have traded in a DS3, all they did was make sure the light on the top of the controller lighted up. But then again I traded in a 80gb PS3 on BF and they never hooked it up or anything.

My ps3 controller problems came before the newer models with the blue packaging. Haven't had a problem, but I did buy them all at best buy, previously through amazon. I know Sony has several factories producing different models of the controller, so it could of just been a bad batch or the early ones were poorly tested/engineered. However, I do have two camos no issues whatsoever, except they have bigger gaps in the middle of the snaps then others.

and how much credit we can use for an order?

EDIT: anyone had luck trading their copy of the PSV Bundle AC Liberation? -considering it's just the card without the box and everything-

I was able to trade in my bundled copy of Black Ops 2 Declassified without the retail case for the full trade price.

You have to go through the whole process. If they just scan the game it will not show the full promo price.
 
I got $170.21 with AC3, Forza Horizon, Borderlands 2, and Portal 2 for the 360, then AC 1,Blitz the League 2, and Portal 2 for the PS3.

Not to bad since I bought Forza, AC3, and Borderlands 2 om Black Friday for like $65 and the other games I got from a old game store today because the had a buy 1 get one 50% off. PROFIT!
