Knowing Gamestop is such a crap company I would never do this. Us humans have this thrill to spend money on "mystery" things. I would never buy this because there are so many crappy games they could put into this bundle that probably isn't even close to the $30 they talk about.

Only mystery items I ever do is LootCrate and NerdBox which are both actually pretty cool.

So it seems the mystery bag has a lot of the old junk they've been including in their BOGO garbage bins the past year or two mixed with one overpriced game to make up the $30 difference.

According to Gamestop yes it is at least $30 worth of stuff(like they promised) and the premium game in this case was Spiderman 3. Great work Gamestop!

Based on this I am probably fucked.

Hope I can at least pull an NBA game instead of Madden. I would also welcome a LEGO game.

 
Reminds me of that time everyone ordered 20$ vitas offa ebay and got some foreign coin in the mail. Both scams. You guys are hardcore for trying.

Most of these games are coming incomplete... they could come in ziploc sandwich bags if they wanted. I'm guessing those who bought one were doing it just to prove how bad it was and not actually expecting any more than $5 back worth in games.

The people here, sure. But for every 1 of us there's gotta several who are unaware of the bullshit Gamestop pulls. Not that most people aren't smart enough to see through the ol' mystery box scam.... but have you seen some of Gamestop's customers? lol

Yep, I remember this one time the local Gamestop had this sign up of "premium trade-ins" like what you'd find at the ol' movie theaters around here. Their top premium trade in.... Metroid Prime Trilogy for $30 and change. Of course, this was around the time the game was going for like $100 or so on ebay. I will never forget a couple of young dumbasses who came in toghether and both traded in their copies (steelbooks and all) towards the newest CoD.... which went on sale for like $30 or so at some store a week later.

I am doing it in the name of journalism. Also I am hoping to score a copy of nba 2k12.

Curiosity got the best of me, but I know what to expect...my nephew will get a few games for Christmas for sure.

$20 for a good laugh? We're CAG's... laughs should be on the house. For this case, I'm glad I did not add to the hilarity... this would only encourage gamestop to do more of these promotions.
