The following will be a constant effort at providing the lastest Gamestop Preorder Bonuses for all you faithful CAGs. When it comes time to choose where to buy your latest game, it's always good to know if Gamestop has an incentive for you. So, here goes.

Preorder bonuses are usually available for pick-up at the time you pick up your reserved game from Gamestop. For online orders, the bonus ships with the game. Exceptions will be noted. In the case of games released previously to the current date, supplies are as available. Some bonuses are only available for specific platforms.

i got 2 cards in the mail saturday

30% add on if you trade any DS game towards a new ds game

OR

5.00 extra for each game you trade in towards Fire emblem


Well i called sunday and asked if it was too late to preorder the item to get the art cell and was told that they cut off the orders 2 weeks back casue they have no clue if they will get enough

well today i went in and traded in 2 more WII games to get 60% added on and asked the worker for the hell of it


Is it too late to preorder the FE game and get the art cell...

worker walks over and starts digging and says they got very few of them and if i order it right then i would get one


So i gave them 2 crappy Ds games (touchmaster and travel games for dummies) and 10 bucks

Walked out of the store with the ART CELL and will pick up the game tomorrow one bad thing is the BLACK FRAME is damaged (there is a white spot on it ) What i can probally just put a little black paint over it or just put a little piece of black wire tape ....


For the hell of it , I tossed it up on ebay to see if it would sell (Doubt and and sort of hope that it does not sell cause it is a very nice item)

ALSO know it says LIMITED ED to 25,000 but on the back of the card its says LIMITED ED to 23,457

what is a very werid number
 
If I don't get my cel-art, I wouldn't be surprised at the incompetence of the Gamestop employees. I preordered a month in advance.

went in today and they hand me the game with an Art cell (so i got 2)

My GameStop didn't even have any FE art cels, the guy there said that he's going to try to track one down for me, but I'm not sure if there'll be any success.

Resident Evil 5 Art Cell no longer showing available with preorder.

I always try to look for this thread - it's a shame that it's not a sticky and there's no search function on this site.
 
I wonder if the F22 Raptor for AHWX is unlocked directly in the game by a generic/usable code or it is an unique DLC code.

It WAS inititally a preorder bonus but later Atlus changed their mind and made it a standard issue item.
 
Yeah it's not as cool as the weapon bonus from the first Patapon game (on the UMD demo). Regardless I'll be picking up Patapon 2 since I was in love with the first. So glad they kept the price at $20. I was ready to plop down $30 but alas, Sony was smart this time.
 
Pitch Black Multiplayer Map as a bonus for Riddick?

That's a terrible bonus. Who wants a multiplayer map that only a few folks will have.
 
What happened to the RE5 preorder bonus? I might end up just buying the regular edition at TRU so that I could get the $20 gift card.

What's the deal with preorders for employees? Dothey get incentives for every preorder? If you cancel the preorder, does it harm the person who originated it or the person canceling it? What if you don't pickup?

I wanted to help out my local manager since he's a nice guy, but don't want to get stuck preordering a lot of stuff. Is there a way to pad his numbers once in awhile?
 
Any chance of making this a global preorder thread? I know most of us would rather order from Amazon or another retailer, and they often provide bonuses as well.

I know gamestop's employees have to meet a certain pre-order quota every... was it week or month? Either way, that's why they do it. Every time someone cancels it's counted against them too.

You'll get it when you come and pick up the game, so you'd have to buy it and return it if you wanted to pull that off.
 
I went to Gamestop, and they had the Resident Evil 5 cel art as the preorder bonus. It looks good, so it's a decent bonus.

That is not entirely true. If you preorder it when close to the release day, and they have the shirts at the store, they will give you the shirts when you put $5 down (you might have to ask for the shirt). And you don't even have to lose your deposit, as you can just bring back the receipt and get your $5 back, or move it to another game. I've done it a few times, but to be fair, I have bought the actual game more than I have just left them with an empty preorder:D

Depends on store policy, or manager policy of course. I've run into stores that refuse to give out anything until the release date when you pick up the game, and others that offer it to you so you will preorder.

Pre-Order bonus no longer available for Resistance: Retribution.

Added bonuses for Final Fight Round 4, Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings, Infamous, Knights in the Nightmare, Magician's Quest: Mysterious Times, Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier, UFC 2009: Undisputed, and Velvet Assassin.
 
*sigh, it's great that atlus adds incentives to their games, but i'm going to nitpick and say that the traditional soundtrack + artbook is starting to become rather dull. they're making it a part of almost every game they release now. it'd be nice for some different goodies like figurines and styli.

i guess something is better than nothing.
 
I'm waiting for the Batman: Arkham Asylum preorder bonus, now that I heard the collector's edition comes with a 1 foot batarang.

What happens if you pre-order a game, buy it, get the bonus, but decide you want to return the game.

Do you have to return the bonus?
