gamestop weekly ad 8/17-8/23: killzone 3, lbp 2 (ps3) halo reach (360) 39.99 each

Is $40 the MSRP for Reach yet? Fable 3 has been at that price for awhile and with it being a year since launch I would think Reach would be at that point also.

The msrp seems to still be 59.99. The halo and gears of war games plus sony's first party games usually take a year to drop in price (they turn into greatest/platnum hits) these games hold their value for a while

I believe it has been reduced to that price at Microcenter. It has been that price there for a while now.

I beleave a used copy at blockbuster runs for 29.99. Reach is also less than 30 at blockbuster (If there is one near you that is). Mine has alot of copys of both
 
might go for a used LBP. would prefer to save a few bucks at bbv, but the one near me never has anything of use when it comes to used games.

still no b2g1...seems like its been ages.

I went by BBV today since it's beside the PO, Halo Reach is now $24.99. I almost kicked myself because I hooked a friend up with a new copy during the B1G50% at Best Buy.

Thanks for the recommendation, but I don't normally buy used games to keep, just to flip.
 
I have noticed that Gamestop has done this a lot lately. The last month or so, they have had a game on "sale" for the price that it is "officially" dropping to the next week.

Everybody always seems so excited when they can pay the price-drop price early. Except when it's Gamestop...in which case fuck STICKERS!

It's a way to drive sales before the official drop when less people will care.
 
Im suprise the title didn't have spit in digust in it. From what I've seen on reivews Cars 2 is a pretty good game. Not a bad price for that. Halo Reach should of gotten its mrsp down for months now, may buy it with my b2g1 coupon.

Don't know if you want to add this to the title but the pre-owned steal of the week is PS3- Sports Champions for $6.99. I don't have a ps3 yet so I can't say anything about this game.

Always through the emails. I got it last night but was to busy to comment about it. From what i tell that's a ok price for that, but like I said I don't own a ps3

Grabbed a DJ Hero 2 turntable bundle for Xbox at a local GS. Not as nice as the TRU deal would've been, for $20 I can't complain - even picked up the original used for $10 in mint condition (surprising for GS).
