Is this all of the GoW2 DLC available or is there still something else you need to get to complete the collection? If it's everything, that's a sweet deal.

also it includes the "deleted" single player campaign and all the maps that have been released. even the dark corners one which i think is the newest set of maps.
 
That's a steal at 800. Wasn't it 1600 before? I remember when there was a glitch when Gears2 first came out people were getting the pack for like 400 or 800 points. I've been waiting for a pretty decent drop for a while. How's the community in this game still?
 
Hmmm not sure about this seeing as I bout the first 2 map packs and then epic made it to where I couldnt even fucking play on the. At 560 points I'd jump on but at 800 I think they can still fuck themselves.
 
800MSP?? I wish I knew about the price drop before I bought it about 2 months ago *sigh* It is decent for anyone who doesn't have any of the map packs.
 
Dont have enough points or else i would jump on this instantly. I hope it stays around for awhile. at 1600 ill never buy it.

If you're planning to buy the game in order to take advantage of this. Its actually only a few $ more to buy a new GOTY edition. Its what I did, used my UFC code.

Keep in mind that the extra chaper is fairly short and pretty bland. If thats all you would be buying it for, I would recommend holding off.
 
This just reminds me that my gow2 disk didn't work after opening a brand new copy. Microsoft wouldn't replace it for free even though it seems a few people have gotten bad disks. Too bad I waited so long to open the damn game or I could have exchanged it...
 
If you just want it for the extra chapter, get the Dark Corners add on. It's a little less because it doesn't include most of the multiplayer maps.

(Like Daz said, I don't think it's worth it just for that little chapter, but at least Dark Corners is a little less.)

Picked this up when it released since I played Gears all the time then. Maybe some of my friends will finally pick up the new maps; then I'd get back into it. Good price for the content.

holding off.. or completely not buying it since if you were holding off at 1600 and now at 800, i bet it would take some time to be 400pts.

Dark Corners is 560. Probably as close as it will get for the extra chapter.

Yeah I have to put that and the Halo 3 Legendary Edition for $60 on Walmart.com 3 months after release as the best deals I ever got on CAG. The Gears 2 one was a really crazy late Thursday night/early Friday morning deal.
 
Can anyone tell me how much space this takes up on the HDD? My poor 20gb is stuffed like a 16 year old on prom... uhhh... I mean like a turkey.

On the xbox live page, it says it is 766mb for the All Fronts Collection

The game's netcode is a joke. Save your money.

Also, the extra single player chapter is about 20 minutes long. Do not buy it just for that.

Dark corners is 560 points right now? I bought every map pack except for that one so if I get that for 560 then I will be able to play social that requires all maps right? Or do you have to have all fronts specifically?

Bad for competitive multiplayer, but fine for social horde, right? If I bite on this, all I'll probably ever play on it is horde mode.
 
well worth the $10 purchase for everything. included you get 19 maps (all map packs), deleted scenes (which has 2 methods of routes to go), new achievements, new multiplayer experience and it is alot better now. more shotgun battles and not like before where it was all power weapons like someone using only boom constantly. People complaining about this price point are full of crap. You'd pay $10 for a map pack of 3 maps for call of duty, halo or another game...you're getting alot more here.

thats why im buying it ;). 800 points split with a friend, $5 seems like a good deal for a bunch of new maps for horde

however, i am considering that patch with the custom matches.
that damn patch should have been out since day one.

i hate ranked matches and matchmaking.
 
Game is still a blast considering it's flaws. Mostly that Epic needs some servers is the most major of them.

Love it and if you even 1/2 way like this game, this is a steal of a deal.
 
epic doesn't really need servers. what they need to do is fix that host advantage crap and just make it to where host is just as powerful as everyone instead of being able to take more damage, do more damage, etc. 19 maps, new achievements, triple xp, deleted scenes campaign..I smell victory. oh and the update did make the game better :)
 
the deleted scene is way longer than I thought. For those of us dumb enough to buy all the map packs except dark corners, its 560 price right now is a good deal for the 7 new maps and the deleted scene.

Edit: Worked ok when I tried downloading straight from the Xbox rather than the website. Thanks for the heads up!

Seeing as how emphasis on shotgun battle rolling was the main reason I stopped playing, I guess I should avoid this dlc if it made it worse.
