There is a very easy way to glitch the veteran gear achievement and unlock all the gold guns in gears 3. If anyone would be interested, I could help you.

Thanks OP! Says 1-2 months ship but for that price new I'm good with it. Just got my Xbox last month and started playing Gears 1 last week.

To be honest, unless you guys wanna play the MP, which is sluggish, buggy, and filled with cheating bots, then the DLC really doesn't matter.
