c.hp xx EX tatsu to dash Ultra or dp+K x3
c.mk xx fireball

but it's not good enough to win against MOON JUMPING
 
I was gonna go out to the shamestop today, but WI is getting dumped on snow and I got lazy. I hate driving in snowy weather.

I need to do something other than SF4, my eyes hurt from playin too much!! haven't had that happen since I was like 10.. lol.

Doesn't help working at a desk staring at a monitor all day either.

Blitz you were fun to vs too, that fei is a beast!

Chun actually has good AA options, they're just very dependent on you seeing the opponent's move coming ahead of time. Not like a DP or flame kick where you can wait for them to land. You need to use the double FP in the middle of their jump or make them land on a Kikouken.

I love double FP midair, 3x heel stomp. Also meaty air double FP into back MK, MK, d/u MK - EX SBK combo. That's fun.

Just out of curiosity what's everyone's playtime on SF4? I've only finished arcade mode with a few peeps and I'm already at 14 hours on my profile. That's not including the 3 hours I played on my roomate's box (because he just got a 40' 1080p set) on launch day.

My Gamestop tourney blew... We used the Xbox 360 Kiosk and we used beat down demo XBOX 360 controllers.... I'm a PS3 player. At least play it on the PS3 so there's a better D-Pad. I mean come on!

Bah, no kidding. I almost lost 3 times to jump in rh cr rh people today. Its so annnnnnooying. Or turtly guile/blankas.

Man, online is annoying.

Wow, they really did end up using the stock 360 controllers. :lol:

No we played on a 26" LCD or smaller. Anyways, yes we really used the stock 360 controllers. I swear. I got past the first round, and then in the second round, someone complained about the controller config so they changed it and they wouldn't allow us to change it back to DEFAULT. It was a horrendous hack job attempt at a Tournament. Plus I think the D-pad I was using was so beat up.
 
I have over 40 hours logged in with SF4 i think. I still need ~230 or so online matches so i can get the 500 online games achivement. I am also going to go through the challanges to get gold in all of them, im halfway done with that (i didnt gold a lot of the survivals due to lazyness).

at the GS tourney right now. Lots of no shows, so first round was pretty much nothing but byes. So I'm waiting for my second round match.

Any CAGs at the Funcoland tourney in Southland Mall in Hayward, CA?

Well, my Gamestop was smart enough to borrow a decent size HDTV from the store next door.

We played on a 42" LG LCD.

Shitty part: We were playing on PS3, using Sixaxis. I play on a 360, using a stick.

Shitty part: Odd number of players, so I had to play more matches than anyone else.

Shitty part: No unlockable characters, so I couldn't use my main Sakura.

Shitty part: Controller configuration was fucked and they wouldn't let me change it. So I had no idea what the triggers did. I was only able to use LP, MP, LK, & MK. No ultras for me.

Good part: I beasted everyone w/ Sagat.

Analog stick is like using a really small arcade stick. :)

Triggers is easier to hit for doing ultras and fierces, fingers don't slip.

I went to the tournament today. I made it to the quarter finals and lost to one of the 59362957384 Kens that were there. It was sad seeing how many scrubby players came out for this. he tournament was nothing but Shotos and Sagats, with 2 Guiles (me being one) a Zangief (which I beat in the first round) and a Balrog (who was very good actually).

I think I would have had a decent shot at winning if they let us reconfigure the buttons.

I'm surprised they didn't let you reconfigure the controller since so many posts complained about them being reconfigured.

They're so easy to read it's not funny.

The only ones I worry about is when I had to fight Boxer, Dictator, and Blanka.

I'm not used to fighting them so I don't know their moves that much.

fukk man... I jus played for like 4 hours straight...

coz my parents are having a party and I had to entertain random children, so I jus played SFIV with them.

I did like 100+ matches all on a pad coz if I used stick it woulda been a lot more unfair lol.

I havent unlocked everyone yet, but playing on random and getting to know everybody in the game so far,

I feel like I wanna switch out Blanka now. lol. to be honest, I really dig Ryu/Ken.

like hella scrubs online with these two, but I'ma bust out pro-yuken on them!!!

Yeah I'm really liking balrog in this game too, he's not as good as ST, obviously, but I like his beastly jab and

MY FIGHT MONEY?!?!??

Chun is always my main, but I think I have a secondary character now. Honda's fun too, but his ochio has been way toned down in 4.

:lol: I just unlocked something you can't get in the 360 version and I don't know how...

I unlocked for Home Dan's Saikyo shirt... that made me pretty damn happy since it's actually something I'm proud to wear in home.

GGs gigan... I still don't know how I got a perfect with my dan against your cammy who is a million times better than my dan.

I've never really been good at SF games, but I'm making it a point with SFIV to finally do so.

I'm more and more happy with my dan, and more and more sad with how many shotos I see online.
