I just finished playing Tatsunoko vs. Capcom for the first time.
I can see why this came out for the Wii.
Is there really only two attack buttons? Everything was in Japanese and the controller configuration screen only has one option "Easy mode: on or off" ???.
If I'm not mistaken it came out for Wii because of the install base in Japan and because the Arcade boards were based on the same hardware. The game was released in Japan only, why would there be any need to put anything in English? (Though many of the PS2 Imports I have include English at the bare minimum in Button Config.)
(Proper TVC Button Config)
A- Weak
B- Strong
C- Hard/Fierce
D- Change Partner
The game is a much better when you are using the shitty Wii options (Classic, Wiimote, etc). Most of us in here bought GC--->PSX/PS2 converters, so we wouldn't have to put up with that Wii controller garbage. Also once you do that you can go on forums like SRK and get the proper Arcade Configuration for Sticks. There are also translations of all of the menus and so on.
The game is tons of fun once you get in depth with it. Baroque Cancels, Infinites, Weird ass juggles/combos, etc.
Its ok, we were both playing hella ugly.
Random ultras and missed kara throws!
I'm just happy I got to rsf you in the beginning! Bwahahahaa! That shit feels so good.
I keep forgetting that Abel has the option of RFS as a mix-up. Should do that more.
