Rufus is pretty ridiculous in the right hands. Triangle jump is silly if you can get it down.
 
After looking at my sf iv data and seeing that I have about 120 hours logged on it, I have to say I'm bored with it. Found it fun at first but after awhile to many of the little things add up to make me just want to shelf it and move on. I simple hate the short cut option they have added in, find it more of a pain than it helping. Not to fond also of how its paced, to much can be won though turtling and specials than a faster more combo pace.
Being more of a rushdown. combo heavy player this game just doesn't offer enough for me I think. While it is fun in short bursts, for me I don't really see myself coming back to play it years from now like I do with other sf games, mainly third strike and alpha 3, hell even super turbo.
Guess this is mainly making me look forward more to kofxii which I really have not thought to much about, and of course bb. Eh just random thoughts late night while the old lady is pass out.
 
I can see it that way for some, just not really doing it for me any more. Was using it as a hold over, and really can't bitch about finally getting a new sf, but think I am going to put it up for now and work on some other games I have been putting off.

In SFIV, is there a practical use for Vega's move where he voluntarily removes his claw/mask? Or is it basically just a way to handicap yourself (thereby taunting your opponent)?

Viva Pinata is the first game I ever got 1000 Achievement Points for. I can't believe how addicted I was to that game.
 
lol cool. Though I'm pretty sure that was Phrost way of telling me to stop bitching. I have a love hate relationship with the game atm, think I need to switch to maybe Sakura. She is more combo heavy / faster for my taste.
 
Yeah, I hated on SFIV for a long ass time... probably the first two months from it's release. I only started enjoying it once I felt like I had a complete understanding of my main, Dan, and how I'd play him.

Nowadays I always have fun with the game. I do lose alot still but I'm entirely comfortable now with my playstyle so I am no longer frustrated. I just suck online... and I use Dan >_

Nah... I was only half-trying to tell you to stop bitching. I'm also kinda bored of the game.. guess I need moar costumes or something. Or DJ Tony Hawk.
 
GG's to Mr. Beef. Glad to finally get some SFIV games in as my internet went kaput for over a week.

I guess I'm one of the few in FGT that isn't bored with SFIV.

I'm bored with online, but I play it when there's gaming sessions locally or against people I know online.

Also, I haven't cracked open my PS3 copy yet ('cause it's the CE and not sure if I should sell it or something)...I'm only on 360 ATM. :p

Ahh darn, I'd lend you my copy but then we still couldn't play each other ;)

There's still 360 CE's floating around, but I haven't seen that many PS3 ones anywhere really.

Ah well, I'll be on the PS3 all night guys! Someone send me an invite!

the match that confused me a bit was the one where we both were dictator and just kept teleporting all over... took a while for me to figure out who is who >_
