Okay, my list for the first half:

FEAR 2 (PC)
Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection
Dawn of War II
Empire: Total War
Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor
Mad World
Resident Evil 5 (PC)
Dragon Age: Origins (PC)
Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena (PC)
Demigod

With Street Fighter IV, I dunno... I mean, I wanna get it in February, but I know I'm gonna wanna switch to the PC version for the better graphics (especially if the difference is anything like with DMC4) so I might end up waiting. I thought about Infamous and Prototype, but I don't give a damn about either of those, and neither looks like it'll probably be that impressive. Seems like more cases of awesome concepts with flawed executions. Also see: Mirror's Edge.
Other then SF4... I can't see many games I really want. In fact my New Years resolution is going to be no more new games. I would like to take care of my growing backlog and make a little time to replay some older games. Of course I'll make an exception for a few games if I really want it or I see some nice deals.
Me?
Thats pretty much exactly how I feel.
I need time to play/watch/read other stuff.
SFIV and screw everything else (For a while).

just finished FFXII. only took me about 2 years. I had no idea what was going on with the story at the end, but it reminded me of Star Wars Episode 1...too many nouns and concepts I had no reference to and didn't care about. Fun game, wtf story.

fuck games in 2009 right now! Its allllllll about Suikoden for me!

I finished I yesterday, started II just a bit ago, and plan to play the series in order (minus tactics and gaidens) and hopefully will have it all done by the time the ds one comes out!

yeaaah!

I just started playing Suikoden on my PS3 yesterday but I can't figure out how to save my game. :dunce:

I've created a PS1 card in the memory and everything but I never get an option to save anywhere in the game.

Sucks the 4850x2 I bought off of amazon has to head back now. I must of gotten a defective card but it crashes in all games with a blue screen error upon recovery. My luck sucks also because amazon is all out so I have to get it off of newegg now which will take more time since I have to wait for amazon to refund me after they get the card.

Finally back from seeing the folks. I had a great Christmas and I hope you all did as well.

Managed to beat DQ IV while I was away and I've already started on Chrono Trigger DS. I love this game.

But now to get back to beating Persona 4. I was about in the middle of October if I recall. Hopefully I can have it done by the end of the year and get started on more of the huge backlog of games that I've accumulated over the past couple of months.

You can save at inn's or the occasional blue sphere thingies.

Man I wish I could buy Suikoden on PSN. I don't remember my password I used for my login though, and Playstation support is convinced that it's not me calling in. I'm not going to go through making a whole new account either, just because I shouldn't have to.

Oh well I've played it once already and really enjoyed it.. Now, if Suikoden 2 hits PSN, that'll be a must have..

I got quantum of solace today because I had a gift card to use from christmas. I hope it's okay. Word was that it's a simple shooter with decent multiplayer. About average. But I like the license and the comparisons to Goldeneye Multiplayer. Worst case is I flip it back on amazon.

Persona 4 is really good!

You're going to love Quantum of Solace, and it will be better than people think! But then in a week it will be trash and you won't like it :[

yes, I've tried but it wants to know where I was born. I've entered the city spelled multiple ways, the state spelled multiple ways.. A hospital, etc. etc.

I dunno what I entered in that field but it doesn't work anymore. It's partially my fault for not writing it down, but still, Sony should be able to send me a reset password to my email address attached to the account without so much runaround.

Something also funny? Rather than music, Sony runs ads for their products when you're on hold with customer service. Ads for things like the $40 Gran Turismo 5: Demo.

I never loved a werehog. I just was under the mistaken impression that the game wasn't going to force me to play those werehog bits multiple times to proceed. InuFaye had the same reaction as me. If Sonic Unleashed made you just play the werehog parts only once and cut the bullshit town/talking to people parts, it would be a fun game. But it piles on the bullshit and covers anything good in it.

What is it with people latching on to one little thing you change your mind about? Sorry for having an opinion that isn't set in stone every time I say it.

Besides I was happy I bought Sonic Unleashed. I paid $20 and got $35 for it!

No, "mang" i've said it once.

I hate people who talk like they're mentally handicapped because they think it sounds cool.

I still plan to spend money on figures, anime and maybe some downloadable stuff(DLC/games)... Maybe I'll cut down on those next year.

Just got back myself. It's wicked foggy here, and I'm headachey, but we had a good time.

Played some more Rune Factory 2 over the holiday. It seems a lot more like a regular Harvest Moon than the first game was, which is sort of disappointing. I'll stick with it though.

You can never have too many figures. Well, at least I can't. Have some on the way right now, actually...

You can when they are atleast $50 each and you are running out of places to put them...Also I should have a few on the way within the next week(Klan Klan from Macross and Motoko from GitS). Unless they get pushed back again.
I noticed how slow the GGT is today and my first thought was, "slow ass GGT".

Now I miss the old GGTs.
ive spent all my money on anime...now i wanna buy a game! XD
I have a game to sell!

No, seriously, people. Buy stuff from me... still.

so is SC4 worth $17 used(with mvp)? its either that or i'll look into pickin up sins of the solar empire for around that price or cheaper
also lookin at company of heroes gold on steam or civ iv complete

I didn't really like Soul Calibur 4 as it didn't add much of anything new to the series. The online play can be fun, but there's a lot of un-fun players. Maybe I just never got into the groove or learned well enough to counter quick kilik players (or the netcode sucks and doesn't allow defense) but the online was not fun.

I'd say your $15 is better spent on Super Turbo, but I prefer Street Fighter to Soul Calibur on the whole.

I played SCIV a lot for the first 2 or 3 days I had it, then never touched it for months and then dropped it on Goozex for 1000 points.

Though to be fair, it was more just a realization that I have no interest in fighters than anything wrong with the game. If you like the series and still like fighters it's a good game to pick up.

I played a bit of SC4 during the summer when it first came out. It was alright, worth the $17+ to crank out a few achievements and then dump it.

YAY for school being over, now the holiday season needs to fully end and I'll finally have time to spend on gaming & the GF.

I dumped my Wii & PS3, going Strictly 360 & DS, which greatly reduced the backlog, now I just gotta focus on:

Left 4 Dead - gotta start playing this one, bought it on black friday and have yet to even pop the disc in.

Rock Band 2 - Just gotta wrap up WT mode. Which is proving trying since the last batch o songs are damn near impossible for me.

GH4 - See RB2, only I haven't had any probs with any song outside Assasin

GoW2, Condemned 2, Mass Effect, DDR Universe - Haven't even started yet.

Lotta Persona today. I'm going to play a bit more and then go to bed. Didn't take care of the TV shit today because it was raining like a mo, but tomorrow should be the day for sure.

Picked up Crysis Collector's Edition at GS today for $12 after trading in FFXII. Regular edition was still $39 lol. God I love this game. and after the latest Nvidia driver + a little overclocking, it is running silky smooth on high settings. also picked up a 1tb hdd finally.

hello everyone.. writing this from puerto rico.

so far it's been awesome, and the women are even better than that :)

no gaming for me to be honest other than playing alot of suikoden for the first time before leaving... i like it more than i would normally think and i'm not even far. it feels so dated, but it dosn't bother me at all.

I still haven't played a few big titles (more like haven't finished them yet) but right now my GOTY is:
God Of War: Chains Of Olympus.
Runner UP is Castle Crashers, then Tales Of Vesperia, Fable 2 and Mirrors Edge.
ive spent all my money on anime...now i wanna buy a game! XD
I've spent most of my X-Mas money on anime. And I forgot to use the coupon during Rightstuf's New Years sale. And it seems one of my figures was pushed back again... I really wish they would let me cancel this one.

So I got a ton of credit yesterday at GS using this weekend's trade-in promotions. I'm thinking about getting Lost Odyssey, Left 4 Dead, and one other game with the B2G1. Any suggestions?
Same bunch of people posting in here but it's just slow today because most people are away or busy since it's right after christmas. Give it time the ggt will pick up.
Yeah, I know. Idk, I just miss coming in to a GGT and being like, "Slow ass GGT!" and then the GGT would move like a fat man's bowels after pounding down some laxatives.

Ahh. Fortunately, I'm big on gashapon/blind box figures and Pinky:st ones (which rarely get higher than $20). Only occasionally do I spend more than $30 on a single figure.

Picked up Korg DS-10 in NYC today (thanks again for the input, guys). Also, I got my husband Skate for Christmas (among other things), and he stayed up late last night playing it, so I guess I did good there ;) One of the gifts he got me was de Blob, but I haven't started it yet; I've been exhausted since getting home, and I want to finish some other games first.

As for the GGT moving slowly, eh, I don't mind. Less stuff to have to catch up on :p
