My reason for rarely posting in the GGT and not talking to many GGT members all that much, only a few know the reason.
I think we all know the reason.
That's about the number of full time, actual cable(non-premium) HD channels I got with Comcast.

That and the amount of compression used by Comcast on the HD feeds made it easy enough to say 'fuck it', and cancel the ~$80 cable package I had months ago.

Food Network HD isn't worth that

:whistle2:/
Mang, I was fucking pist when we visited him the other weekend... I started flipping through his HD channels looking for something and I start seeing all these channels I don't get... I don't know how it's possible. RAGE.
You are so wrong. I do love FFXIII and it's my most wanted game for sure. It's coming to PS3, so I will buy the PS3 version. However, it's tough for me to say whether I want that or Versus XIII more (I want XIII more because I like a little turn-based, but I like Versus XIII since it reminds me of VII and I LOVE Nomura made games).

Also, read my blog and tell me what game it says I want the very most:
http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/blog.php?b=6023

If you want to see me in a big time FF argument, I could bring up my old posts at Cloudchaser, PSXXxtreme, RPGFan (under my old username and older forum), RPG Elite (while up), etc.
I'm busy as hella s well, but since all my work is computer based aside from shooting film, I have time in between projects.

I really enjoy ur blog posts TMK but one problem that always prevents me from reading them... way too wordy. simplicity can be your friend sometimes >_<

but that's you so don't mind me if anything.

good news: gettin paid friday! woohoo! I think it's been over a year since I've been officially paid for a real job. fricking delays delayed my payment by at least 5 months

I probably get around 30 HD channels with my Comcast in the DC area, counting HBO and Starz which we get for free currently.

Same here, busy as hell, but my works all writing, cleaning data and running analyses so it's easy to post a good bit when taking quick breaks since I'm at a computer all the damn time lately. Or when procrastinating like I have been this afternoon.
Like searching for someone to mention him on CAG.

For someone who claims to not read the GGTs, you sure replied to RR's response quickly.
Actually, I searched one CAGs posts (I rather not say what member it was) who posts in the GGT and just happened to time it perfectly. The only other time I read the GGT was two pages early this morning since I was told by someone to do that.
I'd rather gouge my eyes out than read your blog. Your posts are bad enough.
My posts are bad enough?

Sorry to be a little rude Dmaul, but you saying nerds and teens ruining CAG. Don't you think it's a little nerdy having 7,628 posts at CAG averaging 5.15 a day? I will admit I'm no better since I have more posts. :p

This is actually my 49th post in this GGT, and I've only made around 13 or so in 2009. That kind of tells you I don't spend much time here.

Anyway, last night I played some MotorStorm: PR online with CAGs. Right now I'm mostly playing RB2. Still have a long way to go in the Career Mode or whatever it's called. It sucks because for the 8 song marathon, I gotta play on Expert (and I can't). :whistle2:(

As for HD Channels, I get a ton. They are 500-900:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Verizon_FiOS_channels

I basically have the package getting just about everything (except foreign language stations and nudity stations).

Speaking of HD, I just used some Xmas gift money for an ATSC tuner for my LCD monitor in our spare room. It was a compromise with the missus, spending $80 for an add on versus $800 for a new TV with built in tuner. :p

Also, I have TWC (which is almost impossible not to have where I live) and it's solid.

Did I mention I started playing FES, the Journey finally? I wish I had picked up that Double Jump guide early on. Had no idea what a short print it turned out to be. :p

Of course. We're all a little nerdy since we play videogames and post on a web forum about them.

My title refers to the extreme losers who seem to be drifting over here from gamefaqs or something lately.

Way to much fanboy non-sense, rants, posts that have no semblance of spelling or grammar (not just a few typos, borderline unreadable nonsense) etc. Too much arguing about sales and other fanboy nonsense and too little discussion of games people are actually playing.

They are the ones who sometimes make me wish I never saw a messageboard (doesn't just happen on gaming sites, but sports and other activities).
You getting MLB The Show 09, Mana?
Decent chance. I liked 2008, but it really depends upon how much $$$ I have left over. But in ways I don't want to wait too long since I'd like to get into a season with other CAGs.

Oh yeah, took a new picture of my gaming setup.
47" LCD HDTV, 1080p, 120Hz

PS360setup.jpg

Moved Wii to SDTV due to lack of room unfortunately.

Also wanted to say, SOME CAG is probably trying to play a trick on me because I found the username (while searching my name in this thread) "The Mana Kniqht".

Oh man that is sweet. I want a TV in my room so badly. I've been forced into the basement, and its only about 10 degrees warmer than outside down there. I could probably settle for a 720p or something under 32inches. Still don't have the disposable income. Hopefully I get a beefy tax rebate and a good deal.

Like such great posts as yesterdays "Dudez were I get free xbl points!???!?!" in the 360 thread. Or the "how do I start a forum because I want to be a moderator" in the lifestyle thread

I don't know what you mean.

Started playing Gun. The game is really fun, and I played for 1.5 and have 23% completion :)
I'll probably run through Prince Of Persia next, then return to longer games like Tales of Vesperia (currently stuck on some crazy ass unstoppable boss) and Fallout 3(haven't played much, got lost quickly).
Hey Zewone dont know if you saw this, but I thought it might be interesting to you.

Somehow he extracted the models out of NMH and removed all the shading to them.

Kinda weird.
Wow, so that's what'd be like on 360 or PS3? Hot damn, I wonder what kind of game it'd be if it were ever designed for those consoles? Sure it'd lose some of that quirky charm visually, but what a difference it could make overall.
Man, for having things so neatly squared away, the DTV tuner box is out of place and the cords are everywhere. :whee:
TBH, the TV isn't going to last long in my room/furniture setup, because I'm looking to move out completely this year (depending upon where I re-locate to) and get all new furniture (all my furniture currently in my room will be sold/given away). I didn't have much room in my current room for stuff, but once I get new furniture and move out, everything will be perfectly neat.

Also, I edited my post (two posts back) listing all the HD channels I have. I have a ton with Verizon FiOS.
Holy shit, Xenosaga 3 is awesome.
It was my GotY in 2006. I loved the game so much.
What are the *gulp*, 'nudity stations'?

Shatterhand is awesome.
Channels like Playboy and stuff.

DAMN. *headasplodes*

I had fun the whole time I played the game, I don't care how long it is. I loved the ending. And the combat is mediocre, but then it's always been mediocre in that series. I may be missing things here...

Most of the game was fun. But that doesn't change the fact that it's almost on a "Heavenly Sword" level of short.

Don't click unless you've finished the newest Prince of Persia:
You loved the ending? How is this possible. I love playing a game for 10 hours to have it feign the illusion of being able to make a choice and then forcing me to undo everything I just fucking did. It made the game feel pointless.

The combat in SoT sucked ass. Everybody blocked just about everything. It was aggravating. The combat in WW was better, it was more... combo based and had variations and such. While the combat in the newest PoP tries to have a combo system, it just becomes a hassle to fight anyone of the whole 6 enemies in the game, as they change to whatever "state" and require you to use that button to open a combo which is just subsequently broken anyway.
It really is.

Game is short. Ending sucks. Combat gets repetitive real quick. I may be missing things here...
yeah, my friend told me the ending and to be honest it feels like a slight rip off of SotC.
yeah, my friend told me the ending and to be honest it feels like a slight rip off of SotC.
I could see that, there's definitely a similarity there... but my main beef with it is that (reiterated from spoiler above):
you spend the whole game trying to imprison the escaping dark god. You do so, the chick eats it, and you're forced to release the dark god you just imprisoned to bring her back to life again...

I spent awhile trying to leave, to walk away, to not undo the goal I worked the whole game to accomplish. I figured it'd be all "you need to make a choice" like is hip in games these days (Fable 2, Fallout 3, GTA4, etc.) but no.... and I was unbelievably pist when I had to, against my will, let the dark god go to reanimate the sidekick chick again. :bomb:

Played an awesome game today. It was called "going outside and playing in the snow". Even had some great mulitplayer snow ball matches and even used the level editor to make a great snow fort.

He's referring to me since I made a post asking leveskisko (a habitual thread bumper) to stop bumping his old threads. I just think it's funny how I'm a nerd and "lifeless loser" because I made that one post.

Nah, your reaction was a bit annoying, but I didn't direct that totally at you. For you it was just a regular stooping briefly to the level of the losers that are popping up far too often on CAG lately. So your one post just set off a rant, nothing against you in general.

But I guess it's more on me since I keep coming here despite the fact the site annoys me as much as it entertains me any more. Even more so since I don't even play games that much anymore since I'm always stuck working and lately don't much feel like gaming when I have some free time.

combat in PoP isn't good, but it gets over with quickly at least. The exploration and graphics are excellent. A good laid back easy game. Not very deep, but good.
