Also, LEGO Batman = Best Lego game by far.
gotta find out if she already has a guy though >_<
That wouldn't stop me unless she has a ring on her finger.

And w00t, I rec'd Fable II today! Kudos to Amazon for giving me "release date" shipping with just the regular old standard free shipping. I'll give it a try tonight when my friend from out-of-town comes over.

Where do you live? I am wondering why I didn't get mine.
Yeah, I've just never been into PC games. I spend so much time on PCs with my work, goofing online etc. that I just can't stand sitting down at one to game.
Yeah, I understand completely. My room is small, so I'm next to my PC all day. My office chair is my gaming chair. So I face my TV, I turn left 90 degrees and there's my PC on my desk. So it's really no biggie for me to play PC or console.

ReRo, go hit that shit!!! Mack daddy, mack until she cracks!!

I played some of those indie games too. I'm going to post impressions later.

If I take everyone's advice here, I think the girl will be mentally broken...

will do.

looking forward to ur impressions of some of the indie games even if they were random choices of mine.

Yeah, I'm in a decent sized condo, PC is in the bedroom, TV is in the living room with a couple of couches and a recliner, so much easier to lounge and relax playing in their vs. spending yet more time at my desk.

Fable II is fun. I put some time into the Blacksmith job. I got some loot and bought a house. I can't wait to import monies and get a ton of houses! I need to find out where the Pub is to get my gold.

I still have 4000+ MS points and nothing to spend them on except Vigilante 8? Blasdhghgkhdkfhdfdkjhgkfdjkgjfdkgjfdkjgfkfgjfdjfgfjkfgjfkgjkgjfkjj

EDIT: How the fuck are all 20 of the free RB2 songs shit? I don't even want
Off Road Velociraptor Safari was definitely amusing. :)
his next game I look forward to alot... Minotaur China Shop.

you basically have to rage and destroy tablewear.

Is anyone picking up Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia? I didn't realize until about an hour ago that it was coming out this week. I think I might walk over to GS and impulse buy that tonight, pending any impressions you guys might have.

I'll get it eventually, though the review comments of it being much harder than the last few worry me as I hate hard games and though the last few had the difficulty about right.

I'll probably throw it on my b-day or x-mas list. I don't need it now as I'm busy as shit and still need to finish Kirby Super Star and start Sonic Rush.

I could see that. I'm a pussy these days and hate hard games. I just have no patience for them. My interest in gaming is way down as is, and playing games that frustrate me don't help that at all.

I'd rather just play something where I can veg out and relax, and not have to worry about memorizing boss patterns, or learning combos in something like Ninja Gaiden etc.

The last few castlevania games had some challenge in some bosses, but I mainly just enjoyed exploring the castles, getting new powers and messing around. In the last hard one, CoTM, the hard bosses greatly lessened that enjoyment for me.

But I definitely respect that others like hard games and are annoyed by lack of challenge. Every game should just have adjustable difficulty to solve that problem.

I played the game Flip Games from Gamestop to Blockbuster to Gamestop today.

I started the day with $47 credit and $20 expenditure at Gamestop. Ended with $150 in Gamestop Credit. I also had about $45 in blockbuster credit I couldn't find extra flippables for. I bought Professor Layton for $25 and a Wii Points Card. With the gamestop credit I paid off Castlevania OoE, Gears 2, Left 4 Dead, and the rest of my Fallout 3 CE Pre-Order.

All for around $70.
No luck on Far Cry 2 today, i just got Castlevania.
Make sure to post impressions after you spend some time with it!

Went to lawton and a bunch of stores today. Bought a bang load of clothes and nothing else.

fucking went to kmart and asked if they had the new guitar hero, old bitch behind the counter is all yeah what system. I'm all tripple and she goes and get's that shit from the back. When she rang it up the computer said nope now not till sunday and I was all fuuuuuuck.
Where do you live? I am wondering why I didn't get mine.
Aloha.

I dunno why I got mine before you, but I'm not complaining. :p

Noitu Love! 2! Always appreciate a nice Treasure-type side-scroller.

I played like 15 min but my head is spinning a bit after spending so much time driving around, flipping games, making deals and spending time in malls.. ugh. I think I'm gonna go do something not involving a video screen for a bit.

It's pretty, and it sounds good, and it controls well. All signs point to a top notch castlevania. You really should know what to expect with these games by now, though.

I found PoR disappointing. I never liked the whole 2 character gimmick, no matter the game. I will be picking up OoE tomorrow though.

I just started OOE, and its fucking sexy (like shanoa!).

I can already tell its going to be hard, I died to the first boss -_-
hankme, forgot to mention this one, but it's a goldmine of probably the top of indie things I've seen:
ooo, Noitu Love 2. I bought that game, well worth the price. Short but oh so much fun.

Bought Rock Band 2 and a Used GH3 guitar so I've been enjoying some nice music for the past hour or so (rather than doing my Database project like I should). Awesome setlist for the game, now if only the crowd wouldn't feel it neccessary to sing along with it, it would be even better :bomb:.

Give it to me baby, uh huh, uh huh

PS3 BluRay Drive, I wish you weren't dog slow so I wouldn't be forced to install everything on the HDD and constantly worry about managing storage.

Xbox 360, I wish you would let me buy my own HDD instead of raping me up the ass with your ridiculously undersized and overpriced proprietary solutions.

Wii, I wish you had storage, but I don't really play you, so whatev.

PS3, I wish you had a good controller.

Xbox 360, I wish you had a bigger HD included.

Wii, you are only good for porn videos involving your controller.
That looks pretty cool RR...how does one get a chance to play these indie games?
most sites have downloads like the links I posted earlier.

the one of the video I posted can be found here (try the demo)

eventually I hope to make a general indie game thread if the mods find it ok. I find CAG lacks a ton of support for indie titles and I want to be the guy that supports it and lets people know when and what is good.

I decided to pick it up from Best Buy cause I didn't feel like waiting. Fable II is sweet. I was going to play for an hour and then watch House. Yeah, I stopped playing 20 minutes or so ago. I totally missed House.

Sounds like a good time, too. :) I like breaking shit.
Why can't you do a General Indie Game Thread now?
hmm... good point... even if I'm the only one that posts there it'll be good... will do right now... just gotta formulate a good OP. give me a bit.

You guys cannot believe how fucking hyped I am for Rock Band 2 with guitar hero instruments. I think I'm actually going to get both games and just say fuck it. I've got 700 bucks saved up and no bills, I can afford it.

I haven't been this hyped for a game since GH3 last year. Since I couldn't get it till my birthday, I fucking played along with the songs on youtube with my SG. Nerdiest thing I've ever done lol.

Speaking of affording, Fable 2 comes in from gamefly tomorrow if it shipped sunday right? I hope it's good, the gamefly keep it price of 48.99 for a brand new game is tempting.
GH3 was assy ass.
Yes it was. I didn't realize it till I started playing Rock band a few months ago either.

World Tour honestly looks to be going in the exact same direction, so I don't know why I want to blow 60 bucks on it. I guess just because Rock Band isn't challenging enough guitar wise, and the music creation is sweet.

Plus, it has fucking At The Drive In.

I personally don't see what was so bad about GH3. I liked the challenge, and a good portion of the set list. There are probably more songs that I really enjoy playing (mostly due to challenge) on GH3 than the original Rock Band. Either way, I'm getting them all, b/c I love them all. Though certain parts of Rock Band 2 are annoying me, like the absence of a "play through list of songs 1 by 1 to complete game" mode.
