360. It's analog sticks are better and you get cheese.

had no problem beating Impossible on ps3 with the controller....sticks dont mean shit for Dead Space

like distgfx says, ps3 if you got a kickass sound system...if not, then do you want achievements or trophies?

I gave GTA4 another chance...I can't get into it. I think nowadays I just prefer more linear games.

Also, why is the driving so...bad in it?

I still get pissed that people think it's bad. It just controls differently. It's nice to play a game with cars that actually feels different than other games. I can drive fine in GTAIV.
Web of Shadows is pretty fun.
I really enjoyed Web of Shadows. The pacing was a bit off, since last "act" takes longer than the other two combined (at least if i remember correctly). The voice acting sucked though (I'll always think of spider-man as sounding like the animated series spider-man). If the new Batman and Wolverine games turn out the same quality as WoS I'll be very happy

I just made the connection between games having a "different" mechanic control-wise, and people automagically not liking them.

GTA4 had cars that handled a bit more realistically (lets face it, still very unrealistic, but you actually had to break to take corners). People bitched about the driving because it wasn't what they expected, but was easy to get used to.

Fast Forward a year. Killzone 2. The aiming is slower. It takes getting used to. People bitch because its not the same weightless control as every other shooter.

I've had a very Sonic filled day. Been playing the Sonic Unleashed DLC (it's brutal) and Sonic Chronicles.

I really want to finish Sonic Chronicles so I can start The World Ends With You.

Finally rented RE5 and beat it just to see what all the fuss was about. The best part of the game was watching Sheva die over and over.

Anyone want to co-op RE5 on 360 right now? I rented it yesterday and I'm up to Chapter 2-2 playing on normal. I've been waiting on my friend to get on AIM for a while but I'm just dying to play because the game is that good.

I thought the best part was at the very end if you
Miss the very last QTE and Wesker pulls everyone into the lava. It's pretty hilarious

Maybe to draw some attention to my desire to co-op RE5 I can show you guys a picture of my avatar that is Delonte West.

I don't think Sheva has died once so far on my playthrough. I'm on 5-2 now...

i think I'll be playing this game forever. i didn't like it at all at first, now I'm hooked.

I didn't like it at all ... my opinion's still the same as it was from the demo. I was hoping for better
Wesker
fights too.

Sheva has only died once for me. While the AI isn't the best, I don't think it's the huge problem some people made it out to be.

did you like re4? 'cause it's just re4 with a fuck ton more unlockables and replay value, ya know. and ashley was more difficult to babysit than sheva.

Loved RE4, RE5 seems to add nothing but things I despise. Ashley was a lot easier, you could hide her or throw her in a dumpster. RE4 has replay value via the mercenaries just like RE5 too. I think I don't like the fact is it's a bad RE4 in my opinion. It's like they took RE4, re-skinned it and then made everything suck. The first time I played the demo I knew I wouldn't like it and behold, I didn't! I'm not saying it's a bad game, anyone can tell it's not a bad game. I just didn't enjoy it.

rly? Im on 6-1 right now and that dumb bitch has gotten me killed 5 times (all of them were her taking the ammo and blocking me in to die). She has only died once thouugh. The game, imo, leaves the feeling of unsatisfaction. It is just so meh. I mean, its not bad. I just cant get into it. I don't see why people are busting a nut over this game.

I wish you could turn off the AI partner, really kills the tension. How can you be scared while you are hiding on the roof while your partner keeps getting punched standing in the corner?
how can you be scared while playing this ever?
Sheva fucking up. I know that's what I was scared of.
Seems like the people not happy with RE5 didn't play the game with a real co-op partner.
i didnt even need that to say that this game is meh....it is just meh. The AI just makes it worse. imo, the game feels bland and boring
Seems like the people not happy with RE5 didn't play the game with a real co-op partner.
If that's what it takes to enjoy this game then I retract my statement of it not being a bad game.

The most recent posts with negative comments on RE5 all complain about the AI. Seems rather silly to complain about the co-op AI, not play with a real person, and then discount the game. It's like saying CounterStrike is a lame single player FPS because all the bots suck.

I'm pretty appreciative of the fact that someone took a chance and made story-based game that has full co-op functionality. How many games out there have that, the high production values, and do it well?

They should of done what warhawk did and just drop the single player portion then. Make another RE with the story of this one slightly altered. Yes, the AI sucked, but it's not the only reason I didn't like the game. It simply wasn't fun, especially nowhere near the level everyone was saying it was. Not even the
Wesker
fights could save the game for me.

Probably some and still none have done it well as far as I'm concerned. Well, except Gears of War, that was awesome.

The game is definitely playable in single player mode. Is it as crisp as playing with a real person? No, but of course people aren't perfect either. :)

Even Gears in single player isn't as fun as with a friend.

I actually disagree, I enjoyed Gears more by myself than with a friend. That's just how I roll.

I will say it was equally as fun. I played alone first day and then with a friend on the same couch a week later.

I agree with Rolento, the driving in GTAIV is fantastic. It took a while to get used to, but it really does feel quite different than most other games. Plowing through newsvendors, garbage bags, street lights, and hobos is great fun.

I have to agree. There's nothing wrong with the driving in GTA4 once you get used to it.

The way I see it is that it's kinda like Killzone 2 where nothing really changed, it's just that weight and reaction has now been added.

but again, I do see Killzone 2 as something not everyone would enjoy, but GTAIV most people can enjoy easily.

Speaking of GTA4, I've been playing the hell out of it recently. I'm determined to finally finish this game. I have two questions.

1. Can you continue playing after you finish the story? Just want to know if I should do side stuff before then.

2. Is Lost and the Damned worth it?

I have played RE5 completely through with the AI and haven't found anything to really complain about except that they can burn through ammo like no tomorrow unless you hand them the bolt-action rifle.

I really don't know why people keep complaining about the AI being a problem :whistle2:k
I have to agree. There's nothing wrong with the driving in GTA4 once you get used to it.
same here i tried playing SR2 again after play a bit of TLAD and the driving was wayyyy off so driving felt like complete shit compared to gta :cold:

edit: just saw ur questinos rei
1. yeah u can contiue to play afer the story
2. lost and damned is worth it especially with the improved bike controls

1. Like every GTA you can continue. keep that in mind for future releases since it's a norm for the series... and a good one.

2. It dosn't bring too much new to the table, but the biggest plusses are: somewhat of a checkpoint system, great story, the bikes (I hate cars now after riding the new bikes), and a few new weapons

I've played a bunch of GTAIV the last few weeks too, and don't have a problem with the driving at all. It works pretty good, IMO. I'm getting towards the end now, and have been doing all the side mission stuff as I go. I doubt I'll play it much after I beat it other than to drive over some hookers every now and then.

I still haven't tried out RE5 yet (other than the demo), but I did do another playthru of RE4 on my Cube last week. It has really made me want to replay the original series again. The REmake is still my favorite, hands down. Clunky controls and all.

I also finally got around to starting Dark Sector. Its mediocre, but an enjoyable little action game and well worth the $8 I paid for it.
The problem with RE5 is that I shouldn't fucking have to play it in co-op.

sounds like you bought the wrong version then. the one you were looking for was RE4.

No. I bought a resident evil game. Capcom should have at least tried to give me one.

I can't wait until Lost Planet 2 is a kart racing game and Street Fghter V is a flight sim.
