TvC getting localized makes me hope for Namco X Capcom getting localized.

If you have people to play with myke, then go for L4D...otherwise, give Fallout 3 a go.
you playing part 1 or 2?

part one is so hard to know if you're doing good... part 2 is alot more together and IMHO more fun.
Part 1. Not really playing it atm though, I'm trying to finish Banjo-Kazooie for the first time in my life and get at least another chapter done in Brave Fencer Musashi.
Done grading.

Game time.

Now what to play? L4D, Mass Effect, Fallout 3...maybe something else?
Play Mass Effect for me... cause I keep procrastinating and I'll never finish that game. I Really want to though...

L4D's short and vague but addicting, I'd recommend playing it online.

Mass Effect and Fallout 3 have shorter main story quests, but a lot of side ones, and both look fantastic.

I'd probably start with ME first, then go to FO3, and play L4D when you want some good multiplayer!

The biggest problem I had with Mass Effect on my first playthrough was how big everything is. It's so easy to get lost in the world and they don't really hold your hand too much. Once I got the hang of it, the game became just amazing. Loved the dialogue system and the battle system could become a little basic at times but overall it was great. Can't wait for '2' or dragon age.

Yay I've sold 4 DS games this weekend!
I'm not doing a Lowball sale at this point.
I'm now putting all the PSP/DS games that were in a bundle up for individual sale, so check it out and offer away!

 why's everyone playing ME now? the TRU $5 sale?

but yeah, it's prob one of the best new Sci-fi franchises (on any medium) i've come across in a while. Plus it has the most satisfying story I've played in a while. Way better than Bioshock IMHO even with its bugs and whatnot.

I've had it since it came out but I'm just getting around to it now. I just spent 7 hours in the citadel before finally leaving to go on Spectre missions.

I liked Mass Effect but I hope they change up side planets in the next game. I'm tired of the same shit different planet, you go in, you mine a few nodes, knock over the same base and if you're lucky it'll have some back story to the group you're there to kill.

I think I'm going to get both UFC and FNR4. Boxing is different from MMA, and I enjoy fighting games in general.

That reminds me...the FNR4 demo is coming out this week?
Screw that. Super Robot Wars!
That too , Jump Superstars was just the first thing to come into my mind. I was tired.
TvC getting localized makes me hope for Namco X Capcom getting localized.
I never thought Namco X Capcom was so much of a legal nightmare as much as it was an issue of translation , and the fact that a lot of the characters from the game are basically unknown to US audiences.
. Way better than Bioshock IMHO even with its bugs and whatnot.
Completely false statement. Bioshock is one of the greatest games ever created.

TRU $5 dollar sale?

if I put "IMHO" in a statement, there's no way it can be false.

I can see how people like bioshock more, but bioshock didn't blow me away like I was expecting. Mass Effect did.

yeah was $5 at TRU about a month ago...

That's good news. I just picked up Season 1 on Bluray the other day at a flea market. It was actually cheaper than the DVD copy.

Worked over at my parent's house this weekend helping my brothers do some repairs on their porch roof, so I haven't had much time for games. I did play thru the tanker part of MGS2, however. Now on to the Raiden part.

Dexter is such a good show. I haven't watched any of the reruns on TBS, so I don't know how bad they censored/cut those episodes, but its fantastic on showtime.

I haven't played too much lately, other than Wheelin' and Dealin'. Enough to have $507 in my Paypal and I'll be getting sealed copies of Persona 4 and Valkyria Chronicles, and the P4 artbook and strategy guide.

Oh, and I have $400 that's coming in this week from more sales. Yay. All of this just so I can finally buy a car.

Also, shameless plug, check out my trade list. :)

I just re-watched GitS SAC and it's still fun. I just picked up the 2nd season to re-watch... but I do remember not enjoying it as much. I just wish they could atleast make one more movie. Also I really should finish Noir one day......

Rhythm Tengoku GBA is so gewd.
I like bringing my Micro to work over my DSi.
Wish the Ace Attorney games were in english on GBA carts.

Speaking of Mass Effect. Can anyone suggest a good team? As of now I am using
Ashley and the Quarian (cause she has good tech ability, although it feels like she never uses it
Also a few questions:
1. Is there a way to keep my teamates using one weapon? I tell ashley to use the sniper rifle but she seems to switch to a pistol every once in a while (which she has no points)
2. If I give say Ashley the weapon upgrade that lets her see enemies on Radar - does that also work for me to? What is the use in her being able to see enemies on radar? She can barely walk through doors.
3. I'm a vanguard and I've maxed out my Pistol (no points in Shotgun) is pistol fine for the long run? I wish I played a soldier...
Thanks if anyone could give me some advice. Since the Mass Effect thread is long gone.

That's fine. Team Space Bitches FTW! If you're
a male, the
love triangle makes for an interesting story.

random thought: am I the only one pissed off about having to spend another $20 just to get Wiimotion to work "the way it's supposed to"?

Yeah I'm struggling with this as well. The only person I don't use is Ashley cause I'm purely a soldier and our skills are duplicated. I feel the most comfortable with the Krogan and the Quarian. That seems to make the best balance between biotics, tech, and combat.

Is there a way to give commands to your teammates? I want my people to hang back sometimes but they go out guns blazing and get killed or just stir up the hornets nest .. which then gets me killed.
I wish I was at home playing Mass Effect. I need to find the good doctor damnit! And pay a visit to the uhh .. consort ...
I'm just now playing through ME as well. I'm 8 hours in and finally feel like I am getting used to the combat. I like it so far though.

Yea, use the Dpad. They rarely follow it, but they do listen to press UP on the dpad, tells them to go wherever you are focused.
