random thought: am I the only one pissed off about having to spend another $20 just to get Wiimotion to work "the way it's supposed to"?
Not to sound cliche/trendy, but that's why I got rid of that system - among other reasons.
Yeah I'm struggling with this as well. The only person I don't use is Ashley cause I'm purely a soldier and our skills are duplicated. I feel the most comfortable with the Krogan and the Quarian. That seems to make the best balance between biotics, tech, and combat.

Is there a way to give commands to your teammates? I want my people to hang back sometimes but they go out guns blazing and get killed or just stir up the hornets nest .. which then gets me killed.
Yep, my first Shepard was a soldier and I used Wrex and the Quarian, can't remember her name though. Very good group. And I think it's down on the d-pad to get them to take cover, but they'll still trade bullets with enemies. Best thing to do if you want exp, and this is more for the second or third playthrough to get to 60, park them somewhere using down on the d-pad and just go in guns blazing. They won't follow.
My advice would have been to post that in the DVD forum.
I was about to but then I pictured in my mind the sarcastic "In for one!" "Great deal OP!" posts and so forth.
Didn't know you were into anime.
I wouldn't say I'm "into it" per se but there are some things here and there that have intrigued me. I really dug RahXephon from the few episodes I've seen and I've finally become motivated enough to get the set and see the rest.
answered ;)
Thanks! :)
Yea, use the Dpad. They rarely follow it, but they do listen to press UP on the dpad, tells them to go wherever you are focused.
Cool thanks for the tips. I'm gonna park them somewhere out of the way whenever I can since they just get themselves killed anyway.
Well, if you're gonna completely fuck a game-to-movie concept square up ze friggin' poop chute, then by god you might as well tap all ze fucking chocolate you can!!!

Uhhh... what? That video is a fake btw.

Ahw, thanks for the advice good sir. I regretted not being a soldier, but Push is really helpful and so is Lift. Is it fine if I keep Ashley instead of Wrex? Wrex has a sweet voice, but Ashley is hot. Har har.

Ashley is definitely better with the guns and it sounds like you've got biotics of your own so Ashley would definitely be a better choice, on the whole.

moviepoopchute.com. Am I doing it right?

GGT I don't know what to play! I just finished Yakuza 2. I've been toying around with Transformers (PS2, based on the cartoon) but its frustrating as hell.

Also played some Marvel: Ultimate Alliance co-op with the gf. Then I realized none of the unlockable characters that should be unlocked aren't.

What to play:

Lost Odyssey, RE5, Valkryia Chronicles, or Braid?

All I've done today is start watching Neon Genesis Evangelion. I got the perfect collection a while ago, but haven't had a chance to watch it until now. I'm not too impressed with it so far though, the main character is such a little bitch, he makes it unenjoyable.

I went back to Saints Row 1 but some of the missions are ridiculous. Not hard, but stupid. If I'm being chased by 4-stars worth of police cars, and I've completed 90% of the mission, it's absurd to mandate I drive this one specific car back to the end of the mission (given that it's been beat up for the entire mission prior).

I want to finish the first, but it's pretty fucking aggravating.

Ah ok, great thanks. What is the point of the Quarian? IF she is better at overiding - does that let me access harder overides?

go with valkyrie... its a game you don't have to rush through and has no sense of needing to. Plus the way it's chunked up it's easy to play alongside other games since its chapter based.

wooh... genna be scouting some coders to collaborate with in the next few days, see if any wanna get started on an indie game. I ask for the blessing of Phil Fish.
I just re-watched GitS SAC and it's still fun. I just picked up the 2nd season to re-watch... but I do remember not enjoying it as much. I just wish they could atleast make one more movie. Also I really should finish Noir one day......
Yeah, I didn't like the 2nd season as much...too much action and I wasn't into the not-as-cyberpunk story. Was too far away from the original movie.

Basically yeah. The mini-game involved is randomly difficult. Sometimes it takes longer, sometimes it doesn't. Nodes and the like are pretty consistent though. Decryption info and Electronics for more detail.

Stalker Clear Sky is so fucking good. I just wish it didn't crash so much. I guess it's a testament to how much I like it that I can put up with random crashes and such.

Great help, thank you sir. :)

played some Super turbo on GGPO against someone named s0nicboom and had a blast, 13 matches and so many close ones. GGPO added some games to the software btw.

Finished Broken Steel main story. Good stuff, I enjoyed it. I'm glad I can continue exploring the Wasteland as I still have things to do and haven't even gotten to level 30 yet. It's pretty cool to see most of my stats max'd out, although I think the new perks aren't too exciting overall.

Also played some more RFA--I like how I can keep playing that game over and over without really getting too frustrated.

Tuesday will be UFC probably--at least, I'll try and pick it up @ BB...

CML for it ReRo.

Been playing a bunch of Retro Game Challenge. It's really good, but Haggleman sucks and so does it's sequel. Can't want to unlock Gaudia Quest.

Shit yeah, new games!! I need to get back into GGPO. . .

Played through the Minor Circuit in Punch-Out and...I was lucky to beat King Hippo. He clearly dominated the fight. And the motion controls have one problem that I can see: You'll get too many punches thrown with them. I find myself always hitting air with the last punch or two.

I at least got the special KO/TKO animations for all 4 Minor Circuit characters.

Amazon shipped my copy, can't wait. If I'm lucky it'll be here today, they have a warehouse only a few hours from where I live. This might be the game to prompt me to get/build an arcade stick since I already have SFIV and tons of classic arcade games.

Maybe sell my Akuma pad to cover expenses \\:D/
This video never gets old for me
Same. The fact that it sounds a bit like Christopher Walken just puts it over the edge.

"fuck you Blooper."
The madcatz pad is good for a pad. I'd keep it unless madcatz decides to make more of 'em.
Excellent call, I'll do that.

Started playing F.E.A.R., this game has not encouraged me to drop a load yet. Does it get better? I'm nearing the end of the third 'excursion' or whatever they're calling the levels. Totally down with the little girl, all the fire looks awesome and evaporated corpses are ace. But for the most part I'm getting a Half-Life vibe, with a much smaller lightbulb budget.

Glad to hear the very much expected Fallout 3 GoTY edition is coming out... now to decide which system to get it for. leaning towards 360 since I already beat it on that but then again want to restart with a new character with skill points in the right areas now.

Oops, I was so cavalier about being able to just walk in and pick up a copy of UFC @ BB for the weekly ad deal that I almost didn't get the game. I happened to call in to both of our only local stores and only one had it--just a single copy left. When I got in to pick it up, the girl told me they sold out within 10 minutes of store opening. Even though the DVD selection at that point was next to nil, I realized how lucky I was to get this copy at all, where ever it came from.

Bought Punch-Out. Couldn't resist.

My WM was stocked with $40 cards for $50 PSN credit. Let's see if I can make a few bucks selling them internationally.

omg! You woke up the bear, why did you do that?!?

Haha, I was trying to put a face to the voice

"Yea, I'm the man, fuck you" :censored:

 you make a good point. maybe we'll get Power Move Pro Wrestling this Thursday.

(full disclosure, I liked that game)

that mario video was fun, but I couldn't stomach all 23 minutes of it. also, I thought the dude sounded like Charlie from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia more than Christopher Walken.

love how Moxio bitched to get my avy removed...ah well, made a new one :p

was thinking of replaying SotC...or should i play Rule of Rose?

or got any suggestions? I wanted to shoot something but I hear GoW2 still is crap on multi
