At least oblivion has colors.
Fallout has color. And Fallout hasn't put me to sleep. Something Oblivion has on Fallout.
Yes, it just isn't boring and eat cock like Oblivion.
While I may not agree with your thoughts on Oblivion, I am officially interested in Fallout 3.

And I don't have any classes tomorrow! I'm gonna sleep in and play video games all fucking day!

I have an interest in Fallout 3 but don't want to plop down $50 or more for another game I don't have time to play. How are Fallout 1 and 2? I want something to play during breaks on my laptop at school.

Anyone hear ticked off by hard(er) games?

Campaign part 3 of wipeout hd (time trials...) and The Club's damn 2nd tournament both require memorization, which PISSES ME OFF!

Then I tried the banjo 360 demo to ease the pain...but it SUCKS!

Maybe if Ratchet Future wasn't such a cake walk as I beat the game w/o armor, or if Assassin's Creed wasn't a pushover, or if games were made with a NON-FRUSTRATING DECENT CHALLENGE!

But again, Portal was good.
Ahadi, I am pretty sure no one believes that you take classes. You just play video games all day and sleep.
I think I've been Mox'd...
Damn you, Moxio!!!

You've discovered the true me.
Vista likes good hardware and plenty of RAM for sure. If you have that, it's fine. XP is just faster because it came out in 2001. ;) It doesn't require much.

I just finally ordered more RAM so i could join the 4 GB club now. :)
I've got 2 gigs of ram, a dual core, and a 7900 GS. Not top of the line, but it should be better than this.

Who knows then? If I were you, Id just stick to XP.

I've got an AMD FX-62 dual core @ 3 GHz, 2 GB of DDR2 (soon to be 4 GB), and an 8800GT, and Vista x64 SP1 is pretty snappy on it.
Persona's infection comes in the form of AI controlled teammates, which has always been a disease. I'm still at the every end of Persona 1, so with some luck I'll never get around to 3.
You can turn off AI control of your teammates in P4.
I'm pretty sure
The Tales series and Tri-Ace were abhorring it up even then.
What does it mean for a series of games and a game developer to "hate it up"?
FFXIII and FFXIII Versus aren't going to have turn based combat?
Pretty sure XIII is going to be like X's battle system, and XIIIvs will be KH-like.

I have vista on my laptop (64 bit) and that things got 4GB RAM and it still feels slower than xp.

My desktop has 2GB RAM with a dual core running at 3GHz a piece and a 7800GT, and fallout 3 and farcry 2 look really good still. Can't wait until november and I get my 9800GT though!

What kind of dual core? I have a 3800+. If I overclock it, will it be faster? I don't have any special cooling, but I did use arctic silver paste. Anyone want to walk me through oc'ing? My 7900GS is a lil faster than the 78000GT right?

I wish I could sell my video card but it's old so no one would buy it. I didn't know shit about computers when I built it in the spring of 07, so I just bought the parts people on messages boards recommended. Big mistake lol, I paid 150 for that 7900 and I could have waited like 2 months and gotten an 8800GT for close to the same price.

EDIT: I'm trying to decide if I want to buy Rock Band 2 drums with my amazon credit or just save it. The drums are super improved, but 90 bucks is a lot. How does BML work? I have a 10 dollar giftcard coming in so with that and bill me later, they would just be 70 and therefore worth it.
No.

(a) I beat the last boss for the bad ending, which isn't really an ending, at like level 25.
(b) I'm unsure how much game is actually left (though I'd wager, not much) as I'm too busy grinding out kills of specific monsters on these fucking scavenger hunts to actually have a new area open.
I disagree, The last 2 Castlevania games were extremely easy on the default settings.
I disagree, The last 2 Castlevania games were extremely easy on the default settings.
This one is easier -- there were a couple spots where i had to figure out which glyphs to exploit, but nothing near some of the DoS bosses or some of the later PoR stages that had me level grinding so I could survive.

And the rare item grinding is the most bullshit developer move ever.:bomb:

I never had to level grind in DoS or PoR. I had some trouble with a couple bosses in PoR, but I was always able to beat them after getting the pattern down.
Fixed. If you consider grey a color.
At least it isn't the most boring game ever made. I will take it's one color...even though there are way more than that.

If you mean
Albus
then you're barely halfway into the game.

If that really is 50%, then this is the worst designed game I've ever played.

Seriously, who wants to spend 45 minutes killing Lorelai to get merman meat? Oh, you did that? How about you go spend 2 hours killing tinman to get the 2x gold ore you need.

bullsnot. :bomb:

You don't have to finish all their quests.

You just have to rescue all the villagers, and defeat the boss.

And then the crazy plot twist will happen and you'll be like ah!

Well shit. :dunce:

I was fully under the impressoin that you needed a special item for the
albus
fight. SotN had an item like that, I think DoS and PoR did as well. So I figured getting this "master ring" was the way to alter the outcome of that fight.

Aggravating!

Me too!

Except that I assumed it was the lovers ring, which you get really early I think.

But then I forgot to wear it, and did the fight and it was like hey you have half the game left to do now!

Although I did absorb the bosses glyph, which might have something to do with it. Not sure.

It seemed like you had to absorb it.

This was worse:
I beat albus.
I absorbed the glyph.
I had very little health left.
I tried to use the "union glyph", I couldn't figure out how. I died.
I had to beat albus again.
Barely got it that time... then it gave me "the ending" and saved.
I started looking stuff up, trying to find out where to go or what to do, and it looked like "get all the villagers quests done, dude will give you a ring"...
Seemed like the way to go... :bomb:
Why would you get a 9800gt?
Because I'm getting it cheap.
He doesn't know any better.
and you would know

Yeah I did something similarish.

I
Beat albus and got all the dominus pieces, but had like 9 hp left or something. And then whats his face old dude is like go up to the thing and use the union, but I didn't talk to him yet and used the dracula's blood one or whatever.....and died! This was after like 20 minutes of trying to beat Albus.

Also. Holy shit! Has anyone played the new Tomb Raider demo.

My 5 minute impression:

Amazing animation

fucking beautiful

Lara rocks

camera is....... -_-

Watched 7 episodes of 30 Rock. There are a few from the Second Season I never saw, so brilliant.
Can't wait for tomorrow!
8 more to go before 9:30 tomorrow night :)

I put about 2 hours in to Soul Calibur 4 tonight. I unlocked the Apprentice and purchased all the characters there are to buy(or so it seems).

Then I played the Mercenaries 2 demo. fucking unimpressed. I don't understand what is so great about it.

Meanwhile, I'm all caught up on Boston Legal

I'm just saying... with all the advertising I'd seen for it and all the talk about it, I'd just assumed it was worth checking out. I guess we all know what happens when you assume :whee:

I guess while ME and TR:U downloads, I will play WoW.

Or maybe I will break open Castlevania OoE which just arrived today.

But after Ghost Hunters.

Unless it's a repeat?

So I played almost 2 hours worth of the Resistance 2 beta. I enjoyed it, but I'm not used to fps on the PS3 controller just yet.

Other than that, I played a demo of DBZ Burst Limit, and I was very pleased with it. Of course, the DBZ games are all more of the same, but I never get sick of them!
