yeah saw that posted it in another topic though
hoping we can unlock stuff in games rather than buying them off the avatar marketplace like u could either buy odst armor or unlock it in game

MS would not have passed up the opportunity to rub a MGS exclusive in everyone's face, if that was the case.

G4 is pumping "This is the new shit." I guess their censors weren't ready.
metal gear solid rising is 360 exclusive apparently
http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/988/988687p1.html
It's not exclusive, I was hoping 360 and PS3 would get their own seperate spinoff games, but looks like it's coming to both systems.

Only IGN is saying it's exclusive because the PR doesn't mention PS3.
But the MS PR puts it in the Multi section, and other sites are saying it's multi as well.

I hope PSP is still getting the Big Boss game.
Mass Effect 2 should be at the EA conference, not Microsoft's.

RB: Beatles too?

What's up what?
You trying to be a smartass.

You already answered my question when you told me there was a song DLC exclusive to announce for RB: Beatles. I had missed that.
I'm sure ME2 will have some sort of 360 exclusiviness.
Yeah, the whole game.
I expected to see it at the MS show though, like in the past.
Pre-E3 videos were all talking head videos so I wanted to see more.

Where the hell is Mistwalker though?
And Rare even if no one likes them anymore.
I'm not really blown away with this EA Presser so far.
It's terrible. Reminds me of a Nintendo conference. Dry and stupid.

EA's con. was pretty lame. Sure I'm excited about Bioware but they didn't blow my mind with anything. The KOTOR CG cutscene was crazy awesome though.

Just saw the Microsoft press conference and I was blown away. Far and away the best press conference at any E3. Also, I still can't wrap my brain around Project Natal. They've outWii-ed the Wii. Forget motion controllers.

What was better than MS's smartass dallow?

If MS really can deliver what they are promising w/NATAL, I agree it's pretty mind-blowing.

The segment w/Molyneux was surreal. I wouldn't be surprised if 80% of what they showed was all in his looney, out-of-touch-with-reality mind, but still...wow...

@dallow - I couldn't imagine a better conference. This one cut the bullshit and pr speaches and spoke directly to the fans of that specific console. Microsoft did that by announcing a lot of hits that people can't wait to play and most of them happen to be console exclusives.

Yeah, if it really works as well as they showed in that Molyneaux segment, the only way to describe it is revolutionary.

Project Natal looked cool. I liked its functionality much more than the actual games they showed. I would like to use it as an interface tool, but don't want to play games like that.
I thought of Rolento when they were showing the painting app. :)
I don't even paint  I missed that part, cuz I had to leave for a meeting >_<

out of the three past years this has been the best 360 E3. Nothing really took me by surprise but basically everything was very impressive.

To be honest, i'm kinda sad about the lack of XBLA news :(

Was most happy to see alan wake finally, and crackdown 2 will be more fun.

Also, I'm not the type who's into social websites as much as others, but MS was very smart to get twitter and facebook. IMHO they need to focus on cornering that market more than the casual gaming crowd since I consider the 360 a more social based machine than all my others.

what's next, is konami's press today or tomorrow? and when does tomorrow's press stuff start?

just came back from a meeting and I now have my own artist studio! yay! and on top of that, swung by TRU and got PS3 Buzz for $10. Good day so far :)

WTF, you too ReRo?
This is the Best E3 of All Time?! I highly doubt the Nintendo and Sony shows will be any better. New hardware is always nice though.

Oh come on now, we have fonder and longer memories than that.

Like you said mak, it was straight to the point, for "the fans". (though it's really for the press)
The main thing missing from this conference besides the lack of big surprises (and no, a multiplat Kojima game barely counts with all the hints we've received) was the pomp and circumstance that E3 is all about. Being cocky, showing off, making a spectacle of everything. Here we just had games we mostly knew about and a pretty cool motion interface thingy that has all the odds in the world stacked against it.

I dont know what to tell ya dallow_bg. They did exactly what I want in a press conference .. got right to the exclusives and cut out the bullshit.

I have my fingers crossed that Sony will do the same thing tomorrow.

(and I dont give a fuck about Nintendo )

I thought Shadow Complex looks awesome. Joy Ride looks like it might be fun too.

EDIT: Did anyone else see the humor in them showing off that horrible looking Tony Hawk game with the giant (and presumably expensive peripheral) and then 40 minutes later they show off that Project Natal and they show the kid doing the same thing without any peripheral at all.

While I don't agree with the "best ever" opinions, it was definitely awesome. As Mak just said, they gave us what we wanted out of a conference. No graphs or BS. Just games. Not only that but almost all of them were given a good amount of screen time with actual demos being played.

I just want a pdf that shows the release schedules. Conferences are for the mass media, gamers keep up with the news and dont need the fluff. Additionally, they waste tons of developer time working on demos and videos.

Agree to disagree. ;)

Sony better have ironic charts about how well they're doing tomorrow is all I'm saying.
I also want teases of games 2 or 3 years away!
A couple 150" screens would help too.
Konami is tomorow, and I believe everything starts at 11am.

EDIT: James Cameron looks a bit haggard XD
11am EST or PST?

if so, what time in that time zone?

Yeah thats why there's all the fan fare, huge ass screens, celebrities, and round the clock coverage from G4TV .. it's for the mass media.

I'm not saying it's the best of all time, it's just alot stronger than it has been in a while. Nothing really excited me today, but it was a solid lineup.

Don't think I'm loving what I saw, cuz I honestly didn't find much I wanted today, other than just being generally impressed off and on.
