Weeds and True Blood are going to be my main summer shows.
Started another game of Mass Effect again. Is pretty cool but there are some problems that will get fixed in the sequel. That's one of my most anticipated right now for 2010. Xbox live runs out in a week and I'm spending all my time playing an action rpg. Go figure.

Hopefully I can make time to play ME one more time before the sequel comes out.... maybe twice so I can have a good and evil playthrough saved.

Edit: The achievement whore in me hopes that they don't do those * Ally achievements again or at least tone done the number of story/side missions you need to complete to get them.

aww shit... forgot about that. Will do! :bouncy:

also almost forgot Flower/Sun/Rain will be out pretty damn soon >_<

I think it releases the day I come back from puerto rico... apparently I'm shooting a music video >_

I forgot about Flower, Sun and Rain coming out this month. I kind of want to get it but Prototype comes out a few days before and Devil Survivor comes out at the end of the month. And I have a few figures and DVDs pre-ordered as well... Maybe I'll Try and get it from Goozex.

Oh, and I wanted to throw in my love for Weeds. Hated the first episode but was hooked after that.
Finished the third season a few months ago and had been waiting for the fourth to be released on Blu-Ray.
She's so pretty.

I'd watch weeds, but ever since I've watched Curb Your Enthusiasm, it's hard for me to go to any other series besides Red Dwarf... Then again, I barely care to watch anything TV even if it's great >_<

I'm actually just glad Conan is back on the air. After watching all the shows this week I realized how much I missed it.

Anyone know online places that sell only 200 MS Point codes? Only place I think I've seen was GameDealDaily.com

Relentless, a guy on GTZ sells them for 1.80 a piece (well in 160 increments) I just bought a couple yesterday if you're interested, let me know.

Hmm... I might, I have 1040 points so 160 might be perfect.
Anyone know the highest Pro Duo GB amount the PSP 3000 supports?
I have a 2000 and it runs my 8gb fine, and I'm pretty sure 16gbs work as well... it dosn't matter what model but just the firmware.

I'll be getting a Go but I'll be getting a 16 Micro Mem stick as well since I already am hitting the max on my 8 gig and ifI convert my UMDs, i'll need more than 16 gigs.

I also need to upgrade my PS3 HDD since 60gb is slowly getting crammed no matter how much i delete. Is anything lost in the transfer process of HDDs for PS3? I mostly care about locked save files....

yeah just jumped in the 1st show in the crowd and i got featured for being one of the top crowd players

edit: o they just feature ur party regardless

There is his user link. Just let him know you're interested in some points, and I'm sure he'll help you out. :)

I want to find out if a high speed 16GB pro duo will work with a PSP 3000 with custom firmware. I'm not even sure I know how to put custom firmware on those yet. But I love my emulations. :p

Is there any specific pro duo to use do you know? I want a high quality ones and I know there's some fakes out there, so I want to becareful.

Someone told me you can use 2 mini 16gb sd cards and an adapter to get 32gb of memory on a PSP without custom firmware.

I'm using an "HD" camcorder memory stick that has some insane speeds on it. stuff that use to take a second on my older memory stick dosn't even take a moment to save anymore.

I don't even think we have showtime.
I was amazed at how much nudity is in the 3rd season. I don't recall there being much explicit nudity in a TV show.
Good ol' Premium Cable I guess.

It's just called HD? Any link or anything? :p

This might be a stupid (or even taboo) question, but can you still put custom firmware on the newest psp's out of the box?

At this point with all the hubbub of the PSP GO(!) I might see if I can find a deal on a PSP, even though the big selling point for me is homebrew and all of the other capabilities that the 'ol gadget has tucked away.

I don't even know what show you are talking about, but you have me intrigued. Is it the L Word?

Hold on I'll pull my mem stick out once my battery dies since I'm in the middle of FFVII... just loaded up my 8 year old save file  damn... I am loaded >_<

forgot how much I unlocked in this thing.

I only played it for about an hour tonight, but I like it well enough. Doesn't seem any worse than VT3. The only thing is the surreal winning montages after you win a tournament... Also getting used to VT controls again after playing Top Spin 3 for so long was interesting lol.
Gawd. I want a PSP soooooooooooo bad. I need my MLB fix and I really wanna play FF7.
Just play it on the PS3. I don't have enough space on my PSP for it (what with only having a 1GB memory stick), but it's still fine.
You should just put your Xbox's IP on the DMZ.
Yeah, that didn't help. My NAT went from Open to Moderate or whatever it's called, and now I'm down to 65KB/s. Guess I'll just pick up a used wireless network adapter.
Then, Nintendo has the nerve... to show a goddam Pulse sensor as their new "revolutionary" peripheral. - Wii Vitality Sensor. Nintendo, is so good that they could probably sell virtua boy peripherals to people... I think they realize their ONLY mistake w/ that product was its color. Should have made it White! - White Plastic!
The vitality sensor is really dumb. Really. Dumb. But so's wii fit and that existing doesn't bother me. i'll never buy it, and it doesn't matter to me, so what, then?

Sony or MS would be doing the same shit if they were in nintendo's position and if they could give their software the same kind of sales legs nintendo has on theirs. This "omg Nintendo is such a heartless, greedy company" crap is just dumb, because all of them are like that. That's why you have to buy points in blocks on XBL, and why the PS3 still costs $400, and doesn't come with a headset or HD cables. Because they want money. All three of them do.

NSMB Wii looks great and I'll be picking it up and having fun with it day one. More fun than with LBP. Which, I might add, is completely out of the consciousness of the market at this point. It came out and got a bit of attention last year and by the time we were celebrating new years, nobody gave a shit about that game. I think that's interesting. It goes along with what I thought about it - a good idea, but shallow and with a few fundamental flaws that's going to ensure it doesn't stick with almost every person who plays it.

Loco Roco 2 is a pretty good game. i get those silly tunes stuck in my head. I've been playing that and fieldrunners all weekend, as I'm away from home. Wish I could get back to the witcher.

Finally got around to playing (and finishing) RE5. Was a great game. Going through
The Mercenaries
now.

Gonna re-beat it on the hardest difficulty pretty soon.
Hey, RE5 sucks dick, bro.
I dig it. I couldn't get into it at first because I kept on comparing it to 4, but after I got over the fact that it wasn't RE4, I started to like it.

"Your partner has died" was pretty annoying though.

You're right they're all greedy. On Xbox, I got extra points that will probably never be used (until castle crashers 2) - they do that to force people to make another purchase in order feel like they didn't
"waste" those extra points. Sony w/ their stupid 249.99 PSPgo and 600 dollar system. LBP isn't popular for one because (in comparison to NSMB Wii) it isn't mario. You look at NSMB Wii and why is it great? Because it's Mario! Without the Mario then its nothing. NSMB Wii looks like the same Mario game we've played on the nes, with some new updated graphics, its the same stages (mixed in with the new stuff) and the same boss fights. After 20 some odd years, Its time for Mario to leave the mushroom kingdom

LBP has its flaws just like Mario. Mario is popular now because Nintendo the game down everyone's throat for several years. The NES , SNES, and N64 (because it launched with only two games mario 64, and Pilotwings) forced Mario on people. At the time you had to enjoy Mario because for most that was all the had, with or without flaws. LBP doesn't have that Mario history, so just because its not the most popular game at this time doesn't mean that its like that because of its flaws. There's always improvements that a game could make, but LBP is good. Its LBP what more can one say.

Why the fuck do I listen to the Listen Up podcast? They constantly spoil the endings of games. Case in point: I've managed to avoid Mass Effect spoilers for 2 years now and now I'm playing it and I hear Garnett just blurt out the ending. Normally when they start talking about games I haven't finished I just skip ahead because David Ellis is generally the one to just give everything away .. but this just came out of nowhere.

I don't think that's as big of a deal as they made it sound. If it was they'd probably have edited it out. And it sounds like it was mentioned at the ME2 demo bioware was giving, so they're not even being secretive about it. At least I hope so, because I was kinda disappointed to hear that too.

And this is why I'm ending my discussion with you except to say if you believe Mario's popularity to be manufactured, and the only reason the mario design has appeal is because of the character, you are a seriously delusional individual and consider re-evaluating your outlook on your hobby. I'd imagine those Little Big Planet folks were a good part inspired by at least one or two of Mario's ideas. Good day, sir.

Yeah, the Mario games are only popular because Nintendo shoved them down people's throats because they're obviously no fun to play.....geesh...

They were giving Mario away for free... the game didn't have to be good. It was the only game you had. People played it, and loved it, and now when they release New Super Mario people love it not ONLY because of the game (and how good it is) but because of that nostalgia. I'm not taking away ANYTHING from Mario, because, it is Nintendo's flagship game and they deliver. But because the Mario franchise is so well known it masks whatever flaws that each game may have. (meaning that people enjoy it and love it... no matter what) I'll just leave it at that . Good day

bullshit. I got a NES with SMB around the time they came out. The game was fun because it was more playable then just about any other game around at the time-- tight controls, good music, pretty graphics, nice difficulty balance, very memorable and unique levels, and loads of secrets. We played the hell out of SMB because there was always more to do with it. People would find out glitches, there were always rumors of jumping over the flagpole, getting into the minus world, getting infinite lives in 3-1....the game had relatively ridiculous replay value.

It was deeper, yet more accessible than your average arcade game that sought to kill you within 5 minutes of putting in your quarter or your average incomprehensible Atari 2600 game. There were PC games that were good and playable, but it's the same deal as today--you didn't just pop in a cartridge and hit "Power" to play PC games, you had to fuck with discs, loading, command prompts, all kinds of crap. I just can't stress enough how the game is the very definition of accessible and fun...it wasn't popular because it was the only game around. People had plenty of games and even after Mario 2 came out, you would still pop in SMB1 every once in a while. It wasn't until Mario 3 came out that SMB1 really took a back seat. Sounds weird, but I guess you had to be there...

So.....back the fock up....my man

If you want to try and turn what I said into something extreme, then that's you. The truth of the matter is that I'm not saying that Mario is a bad game and that on its on own it isn't a good game. However, you Jer, or anyone in the gaming community can't deny that a large part of Mario's success comes from the fact that a lot of popularity comes from people falling in love w/ Mario when it was packaged with the System(s). (NES, SNES, and N64 [as it was the only game at launch besides pilotwings] ) I'm not trying to bash, or defame Mario, however w/ NSMB Wii, I don't like it because, its the same game (as previous Mario's) and then on top of being the same game, they basically try to rip off the best feature from LBP. My criticism for Mario comes from me holding it in high regard. I expect more from Nintendo. They don't borrow ideas, they make their own game and people copy them. LBP is like a child of mario, (yes it was inspired by Mario) it's a platformer that added the community features (game 3.0). 1. I'm giving LBP some credit for actually doing something right and actually inspiring the game that inspired them. Kudos MM. 2. I want more from NSMB Wii. Super Mario 2 was a whole new adventure, some people didn't like it because it was different, but it was a good change of pace. Same with Super Mario Land, and Galaxy, and Sunshine. Give us new worlds, new boss battle. The way they did Punch out is the same way they're doing NSMB Wii, same stuff w/ a new coat of pain/graphics. Nintendo loves making their living off nostalgia and that's why NSMB is the same old stuff, and that's why punch out was the same old stuff.
