I thought it was hardware. Notice they don't show up under your regular account download history since Singstar has it's own in-game store.
They show up under "Services" under Account Management.

Perhaps there's a way to do it there, or you call Sony.
TMK show me the way!

EDIT: I'm talking about the DLC. Not sure about the game save itself.
I see your point, at least Fallout 3 counteracts that hassle with slo-motion head explosions.

I'm not sure I'll ever get bored of Raiders heads rolling down hills.
VATS is really cool at first. And then it gets old fast. Or at least it did for me.
You need to use VATS. At least if you don't feel like getting your ass kicked or wasting ammo.
This.

I had to fight a bunch of ants on one quest, with VATS they were an easy 1 hit kill, without VATS it was like trying to beat a cow to death with a banjo.

I wonder if I'll ever upgrade to Wii HD? I suppose if it's backwards compatible...but I'm guessing all GCN BC would be removed to help cut costs. And I rarely play Wii anyway since I despise motion controls...I dunno...

I think you pretty much answered your own question there.

Lack of HD was a pretty minor factor in ditching mine in early 2008, so an HD version wouldn't bring me back. It's not going to make me like motion controls or casual games anymore, nor make me any less tired of Nintendo franchise games.

Tiger '11 w/Wiimotion Plus in WiiHD would be tempting, but it's still just one game. I can't really think of any other game I'd be interested in with motion controls.
So tired. Spent the weekend at a neat theme park.

Good to see TMK back!

Two questions about your upgrade to the Slim. I've had these two sticking points that have kept me from upgrading.

1. How did you deauthorize your Singstar purchases? I didn't think this was possible.
It's actually easier than I thought. What happened is I followed the GAF thread. All you have to do is go to the SCEA support site, provide some information. A few days later you'll get an email back, stating your songs are placed on the re-authorization queue or something. A few days later (although they say 7-10 days), it will say new songs for you to download, where all it means is that your songs have reset and can be downloaded to your new PS3. I and a bunch of others did it, even with no repair no.
2. What about your copy-protected game saves?
As far as retail games are concerned, I only had a few data saves I completely lost (SFIV, RE5 (almost done on my other PS3 anyway, which I'll finish), Lost Planet, DW6 Empires, RB games, and SingStar)). Only one that had any significance was RE5, but everything else moved over. Some PSN game saves didn't copy over, but most weren't a big deal. But overall, most everything copied over. PS1/PS2 saves did not, but they can be moved over by just copying to a USB drive, then copied back without a backup utility.

If you need any more help, I can let you know (since I pretty much went through everything).
Show everyone all the cereal you bought Mana mang. :whee:
Your wish has been granted (I bought a lot due to sales + constantly getting coupons. I got another coupon and might get more):
selx0k.jpg

Since I've been working, I've bought the following gaming related things:
PS3 Slim
PS3 Official Headset
9 PS3 Retail Games (although one was traded in since I hated it so bad. Another was unopened but I sold to a CAG due to buying a headset)
12 PSP Retail Games
4 360 Retail Games (Have not opened Ace Combat 6 yet)
2 Wii Retail Games
$140 in PSN Cards to buy RB Unplugged DLC, SingStar DLC, and PSN games.
$20 in XBL Points

It's not like I spend everything I make on video game stuff, just that I mostly bought all the stuff I was really wanting for a while but could not buy due to being quite broke. Bought tons of furniture and other things. Thankfully I've caught up with gaming purchases, but still need Klonoa on Wii, Resistance Retribution for PSP (I gave the demo another shot and like it now), and I might buy more Wii games cheap to build up its collection. I only have around 13-14 games I must buy the rest of the year. I also bought a bunch of video game/anime T-Shirts cheap.

I might get a PS2 slim (and replace my current fat PS2). I will get a PSP Go, although might be later than originally planned (since I still need to buy sofa). I might replace my Xbox 360 since its out of warranty and has various issues, but not sure which SKU I'd buy yet (probably a PRO since I have just a 20GB HDD).

I finally got and played Klonoa for Wii.

Gameplay is still strong (later levels are better) but I don't remember it being so chessy before.
Guess it worked when I was a kid.

EDIT: Damn at the cereal.
I love Rice Crispies too.
I finally got and played Klonoa for Wii.
I really need that game. I wonder if I can preorder Uncharted 2 at Best Buy this week, and get $10 off of Klonoa? I know my local Best Buy has a bunch of Klonoa.

I did buy two Wii games within the past few months, MadWorld $7.50 at Target and Tales of Symphonia: DNW at GameStop used with 20% coupon. I enjoyed MadWorld more than expected making me maybe increase my Wii collection.

I'm considering the following Wii games:
Castle of Shikigami 3 (never been much of a Shikigami fan, but its cheap and I may take a chance)
DDR Disney Grooves (when the price drops soon, I might get)
DDR Hottest Party 2 (definitely buying when the price drops soon)
Death Jr. Root of Evil (I liked it on PSP, but don't have it anymore)
King of Fighters: The Orochi Saga (only $15)
Muramasa: The Demon Blade (probably get after price drop or sale)
No More Heroes (never played it, but since I love MadWorld, might buy)
Rune Factory: Frontier (I dunno, looks like a game I'd like)
Samurai Shodown Anthology (not a huge SS fan, but considering)

I just want to borrow someone's Wii so I can play that and A Boy and His Blob.

Muramasa is worth playing too, Mak.

Found a lonely Eye of Judgement camera bundle at TRU for $20 today.

I'm not sure that I should keep it. The new Sony motion controls are using it, right? Is it any good for using with voice chat online? I'm pretty sure I'm never going to use the camera part.

Are ECA codes account specific? I've got a leftover one I was gonna use on ODST, but I'd rather give it to a friend if that's possible.

I kind of want that.

Somebody needs to adapt Scribblenauts to Garry's Mod, so we can have things like drugs and prostitutes to solve our puzzles.

I have 17 of 21 Stunts in Infamous now. I know of 1 I haven't done because I don't have the power yet to do that stunt and 4 of which I don't know I've done on a list. See the problem? I do.

EDIT: Okay, make that 18 of 21 and 3 I don't know. It has to be either Have a Nice Fall or Right Back at Ya.

scribblenauts is pretty much garry's mod, without all the work involved, and with a lot less awesome.

Killzone 2 is really good. Im on that last level and it is bonkers. I'm on the harder difficulty. Had to stop in the palace on the second floor balcony.

Ouside the palace gets pretty crazy too - and pretty choppy. Felt like I was playing crysis again on my little underpowered lappy.

Lucky, I can't play Killzone 2 for more than an hour without getting a horrible headache...ah

Yeah, I could see that. The viewing angle seems a lot tighter than most FPS games and the heavy motion blur could be a problem.

If it says 17 out of 21, you're missing (most likely) Have a nice fall, Right back at ya, suspended sentence, and unquenchable thirst.

NGS2 was pretty cool. I don't think there's enough new content for me to purchase at full price though. I was disappointed in the co-op missions.

anyone still play gears of war 2?
im thinkin of trading in my copy tomorrow for $12.50 along with some other games at tru since im picking up odst

then im gonna head over to best buy and get the goty edition for $20
figure this is better than burning points on the all fronts pack(yes im extremely stingy when it comes high priced xbl content)

The more i play Battlefield 1943, the more i think its one of the most horrible FPS games ive ever played. I used to really like it, but now i end up getting killed during spawning 5 out of 10 times. Its utterly unforgivable to sit there, wait to respawn, and then get killed again 2 seconds in. I wish i could get my 3 bucks back.

Don't you have like 123000 ms points?

I still play GoW2 on occasion, sometimes with xchikax, when my xbox isn't throwing e74 errors.

My mind is too twisted for Scribblenauts. I spend more time killing the characters in creative ways or with mythical beasts then I do solving the puzzles.
Spawn somewhere where the enemy isn't at.
This is exactly what I was thinking.

Battlefield 1943 is possibly the most forgiving game of all time when it comes to respawning.
Finished Call of Juarez. How come more people weren't talking about this game? Friggen fantastic. Best Graphics in a game yet... awesome.
I loved it:

Maybe not the best graphics ever (screen tearing was a major problem and the animations in the cutscenes would have been meh in 2004) but it was a pretty great game. Playing Killzone 2 now made me think that they pretty much lifted their cover mechanic from KZ2 for CoJ2.

I thought RE5 Mercenaries in online co-op was perfect and awesome and fun when I started playing it last night, but an hour and a half later I think it's cheap, frustrating as hell, and I never want to play it again. How many hours do I have to survive to get an A rank?

Ended up ordering ODST on Amazon, wasn't going to but it's worth a shot for $35, plus the firefight mode does look good.

Played more Fallout 3 last night, 24 hours into it and I'm loving every second.

Yea, I was surprised to see that most reviewers bashed the graphics. Maybe something was wrong with my TV - but in Chapter 10
when you are going with Juarez and his caravan to the weeping rocks
, it looked friggen fantastic. And when you are traversing down the rickety mining rig on the side of a mountain (the one with the elevator) and you can see for miles and miles, was incredible.

Eh, maybe I just really like scenic shots.

:whee:
That's fuggin' j'awesome.

I want that.

Nah, dallow, I knew you wouldn't be able to do a full level with a co-op partner, but it just throws you in a small arena with constant spawning enemies. Just got a bit boring fighting in the same small area over and over again.

Well, actually, a human partner might lessen the boredom.

I finished Metal Gear Solid 4 last weekend after a marathon 15 hour first day and a 6 hour follow up day. Definitely one of the best PS3 games I've played. My GF wasn't too happy with it though =/
