Way of the Samurai 3, hell yeah. Loved the first one, but the 2nd one wasn't all that great imho.
Excited to see how this one is.

All I'm getting so far next month is Demon's Souls. But seeing I'm no longer getting a PSPgo I might grab Brutal Legend and something else(Uncharted 2 maybe).
Finally came to your senses?
I'm still going to buy a PSPGo no matter what, since I've BADLY want a smaller PSP for the longest time (I also have a decent amount of digital games on PSP, so no problem). Not on release unfortunately since I have to spread purchases out between paychecks. I HATE hauling around my current PSP when I went to listen to MP3s, and wanted something smaller to use when I play my downloadable games from the memory stick.

Go should have been the PSP2, then I would give a shit, when it would have come out next year summer.

Go is just a stopgap measure that doesn't play games from the other PSPs and will be forgotten about as fast as the virtual boy/GBMicro/Jaguar/3DO. I'm guessing history isn't going to look on that device in a very friendly way.

The end of killzone 2 is a bitch - that balcony part in the capitol just sucks. I'm on a harder difficulty, but I think it's impossible.

No, if I came to my senses I wouldn't be buying half of the crap I'm buying.

PSP is okay. I don't understand anyone saying it's their favorite though. I own 4 games for mine.
No, if I came to my senses I wouldn't be buying half of the crap I'm buying.
You and me both. ;) Whenever I have cash in my wallet and go out to the mall/import gaming store/etc., I spend money. Since I had $47 in my wallet, I ended up buying a sackboy t-shirt and Resistance Retribution for $20. I was close to buying an Death Note/Naruto/Bleach stuff I saw at Fye, Hot Topic, and the import gaming store (I still need more wallscrolls). I keep telling myself I'm going to only buy a few things, but I can never resist. :whistle2:( That's one reason I will work a lot of overtime, so I quickly make up what I spent (normally I make more than enough back, so I guess I'll just keep doing what I'm doing).

I'm about to apply for a new credit card online (maybe a PlayStation credit card, we'll see if I get approved). Once I get it, you better bet I'm going to do more online shopping such as buying lots of Gundam stuff.

I'm so close to going on an import buying spree picking up stuff like Tales of VS., Gundam Senki (PS3), one PSP Bleach fighting game, Gundam vs. Gundam game on PSP, etc.

I'll admit I tried changing myself, getting away from gaming/anime related stuff, but that just isn't me. I'm proud to be a nerd/geek and don't care what anyone says (I have found girls using a certain site into the same stuff as me). :)

What's annoying about PSP is I can't even play any of the newer, pretty awesome stuff that's coming out for it. I've gotta wait on Motorstorm, Persona, Peace Walker, etc. Because I've got CFW.

I really hope someone's got CFW 6.0 or whatever for PSPGo tucked away, waiting for the release like they did with the 2000.

It's enough to make me consider going official!

They probably should have just scrapped the current PSP a year ago and worked on a new one. The go is ugly and uncomfortable looking.
They probably should have just scrapped the current PSP a year ago and worked on a new one. The go is ugly and uncomfortable looking.
It's kind of a tough situation to create a new one because for one, Sony is already in a lot of debt and creating a brand new handheld takes a big investment (compared to just revising old hardware). Many things they might want to incorporate into a new handheld, may just be too costly to use right now. But overall, the main issue with creating a new handheld would be what direction to go in. The UMD would not be a good solution for physical media and they may have to spend a lot in R&D cost to go with another solution. If they went right to DD, it could either be good or bad (I rather not go into the positives and negatives about making it the only solution for the next handheld. While some people can do DD, there are still those without WiFi or even internet).

Also, trying to scrap old hardware early and move on could anger some developers/publishers. A new handheld doesn't exactly need more power, which is part of the reason I feel there's no need for a new PSP. The only reason I'd support a new PSP is so the firmware isn't wide open right from the beginning and its secure (like PS3 is).

I honestly think its best for them to wait until DD is more mainstream (as in everyone has WiFi access and retailers are more accepting to DD) and cost of some features go way down before creating a new handheld. That's just totally my opinion, but I like my PSP and will continue supporting it as long as its around.

Speaking of October game releases, I'll be buying a new game every week, going from: GT PSP -> Demon Soul's -> Uncharted 2 & Half Minute Hero & Way of the Samurai 3 & SingStar Motown -> Ratchet & Clank Future: ACiT -> Tekken 6. I might have to wait until November to buy a Go because all I'm buying then is Tekken 6 PSP, J&D: TLF PSP, LBP PSP, Buzz: QW PS3, GoW Collection, and Sky Crawlers Wii. I will try not to buy beyond these games, but knowing me I'll pick up some cheap games at Best Buy like Lumines II and Guilty Gear 2: Overture.

The Go is extremely comfortable according to everyone that's used one so far.
I though the nub would be the most awkward part but sounds like it's way better than the the old "slide" nubs as it feels more like a stick.

It's so beautiful.
If only I could say "no more" do physical media....

Also, my backup still won't restore on my PS3....
Just finished deleting all my games and caches to make it smaller. Here we go again.
If it still doesn't work I'm getting a Slim and saying fuck it to my old "locked" saves.

EDIT:
Mana, I'm going to Frys tomorrow if you still want Klonoa.

I've used the Go and I can say that if you have big hands like me it's not comfortable at all.

WTF! Ratchet is coming out in October!
Thats 100000000x more exciting than Uncharted, and I'm getting that Day 1 as well.

MUA2 is $$$. So addicting. I'm playing on the hardest difficulty mode (not legendary) and its a joke. But it's incredibly addicting.

man... uncharted 2 should excite me but there's really nothing this holiday that excites me... it's always damn Q1 in the year that has all my fave releases >_<

2010 Q1 has more stuff I want than Q4 2009.

MUA2 is soooooooooooo boring.

Pressing 'A' forever stinks.

It gets harder in the last couple acts. I just finished it on legendary this morning. Love the game.

Good to hear. I'm working on getting as many alternate costumes as I can.
If I'm not mistaken I somewhere between the last half and last third of the 2nd act.

Shit was SO cash

I'm pretty excited about Uncharted 2 and Brutal Legend next month. That's it though. Ratchet is always the same game and I got Future for $15 last week and would like to finish that first.

I bought LBP GOTY edition today. I'm not sure if I'll keep it. I had TRU credit/Gift Cards I was eager to use. Is it worth having just to play other people's levels/single player? I might just return it for Uncharted 2, unless I feel like opening it before then.

I have longer fingers and almost all handhelds are uncomfortable, IMO. I'm just hoping the Go is less uncomfortable than the Phat.

QFT! I do think uncharted 2 might be better than some being released next year but still some potential classics are going to be out in 2010!

Stupid 400 wii points will haunt me forever, They have been sitting there in my wii account for like 5 months.

Also, Brutal Legend is a day one for me.

Also, Jennifer Hale is Ophelia!

With the choice between Ninja Gaiden Black and NG2 or Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 and 2 which ones should I get? I've heard some people say the Sigma games are better than the regular NG games , but I've heard others say they are worse.

Does anyone know any games that have Slipcovers/special/holographic/shiny foil/lenticular cover art?

I was just checking out my Jade Empire Cover and I realized I love the special cover art. I NEED MORE.

I'd go with Black and Sigma 2.

If you really care about graphics then Sigma over Black, but Black just runs smoother.
My plans for October 13th:

Pick up Uncharted 2 at midnight
Have ridiculous amounts of fun playing Uncharted 2 until 1 or 2 PM
Get Brutal Legend in the mail
Play Brutal Legend until I pass out
Dude, I can't friggen wait. But, I am stuck at a cross roads. Either I go left to the most likely awesome Uncharted 2 screening + free food at Muvico. But, that will most likely spoil the game... OR go right and skip that event and play Uncharted 2 as a spoiled free experience. I haven't seen anything since the beta.

Can't figure it out.

So I just beat Infamous...AGAIN...ON HARD...got the Hard Finish Trophy after about 20 grueling seconds of thinking I didn't get it (Sony needs to speed up the time telling you 'hey, you got a Trophy'). Now all I need to do is get 8100~ XP for the Platinum Trophy (Assuming I don't have to buy Neutral powers, if I have to buy Neutral powers...I'm screwed).

I"m looking forward to starting infamous after finishing Killzone2 and ODST today.

I also got a PSN card for Wipeout, Flower, and Shatter. Flower is really pretty. I like the FLYING.
(Assuming I don't have to buy Neutral powers, if I have to buy Neutral powers...I'm screwed).
You don't need them. You just need to buy all the Evil or Good powers.
Wow nice KB. You got any tips on finding all the shards? I have like 10 more I have to find... agh.
I found all but 1 of and got to the point where I didn't care anymore.

Also, I finished Ninja Gaiden Sigma and had no problems, and it looks a lot better on an HDTV than NGB does these days. NGB looks okay with Xbox emulation, but you can feel the increased lag. Ninja Gaiden Black has more content though, I think. And the rachel missions in Sigma kinda suck.

Just avoid Ninja Gaiden 2 - if you're new to the series play the first one first. If you're wanting more go for NG2, but it's about half as good as the original. And 3 times as expensive.

EDIT:
Mana, I'm going to Frys tomorrow if you still want Klonoa.
Yeah, go ahead and buy it for me. I'll pay you on Wednesday (I'm transferring funds to my PayPal right now, should be there on Wednesday when I get back from work). Sorry for the delay, but I'm just going to pay you $17 for the trouble (Had to update my PayPal and such).
I've used the Go and I can say that if you have big hands like me it's not comfortable at all.
My hands are really small, so that's perfect for me. :D

Also, I'm going to admit that I'll be attending a CAG/Goozex meetup in two weeks.

I've had it with this PS3 backup/restore process..... it just won't work.

I was just watching videos of this last night!

Just finished ODST Heroic. Great game. I really enjoyed it. If you don't give a shit about halo, then you'll like it a lot less, but it did explore some "extended universe" type stuff that I found really interesting. I know the story's shallow, but seeing things that were only talked about before just added to my enjoyment of an already great game.

Killzone 2 was pretty good. I think i'll play the multiplayer for a while. Finished that too this morning. Best thing about KZ2 is the feel of shooting the weapons and of course the graphics. I didn't really dig the atmosphere, setting or story, though.

My friend rented it and we spent most of the night playing firefight. Definitely the most fun I've ever had with a horde mode in a game. 47 minutes was are best, on that sky level. I had like 28k points

The pistol is so beastly again. I was getting headshots left and right. They really need to make that free DLC for Halo 3 multiplayer.
Cut me a fantastic deal on one of your PSP's, The Mana Knight.
I have both a Phat and 2000. In reality, I rather just own a 3000. I plan to get a Go regardless. I dunno, I'll give it some thought. Unfortunately I don't have the original box to either of them with me, since I left my game boxes at my parents house (no way I'm making the drive back to visit for a while). I use my 2000 as my main PSP, my Phat is used for my Japanese account (most weird Japanese demos).

I am debating about selling my 20GB PS3 (with a 250GB HDD) and using the money to just buy a 2nd PS3 slim (use it in my bedroom instead of my current 20GB). But I'm not going to consider until I buy an HDTV for my bedroom (already have one in my living room).

I don't think we need the pistol for multiplayer, but it's a good single player thing to have. The battle rifle does the same thing, just a little less rediculous. The Auto aim is what makes the ODST pistol seem so good. It glues itself to grunt heads.
