Lost Planet 2 demo was fun.
I downloaded it along with other stuff yesterday, but only got around to playing NG Sigma 2. Hopefully I'll play it today. :D

dallow, I may be interested in Klonoa and I'll pay you for it (from Fry's). I'll let you know via PM sometime. I just gotta search through the thread and see the price again so I add the right amount to my PayPal.

Also, I did preorder two games yesterday, MotorStorm: Artic Edge (I just
Is that one up or two up from normal? I think I played Halo 3 on Heroic (not Legendary)... And solo some of the sections in that made me want to pitch my controller. :|
That's one up from normal. ODST in general is harder than any of the 3 Halo games. I'd say that Heroic ODST is closer to Legendary Halo 3. Not quite as bad, but more difficult than Heroic Halo 3. Whenever hunters are involved, it's just a struggle to survive and find weapons.

The first hunter encounter I didn't even know they were there. I was inside a building taking potshots at grunts, turn around and here's this huge fucking hunter taking up the entire hallway growling at me - I haven't jumped like that since dead space.

I'm liking ODST so far. The Music is pretty decent so far. And I must say it is definitely harder than Halo 3... So I might turn it down to easy for a while to get used to playing.

Same here. I was to busy trying to figure out how to deal with a few snipers and all of a sudden I see a Hunter rushing towards me.

Heavy Rain is going to be awesome whenever it comes out.

Also, I just preorder Uncharted 2 from amazon. I didn't realize it was coming out so soon.

Good thing the PS3 is region free.

heh, I wouldn't import a game if thats all that was removed.

Bayonetta makes me think a lot about old school sega games - like Shinobi. I also wanted Borderlands, but I need to see some more gamplay, cause what I saw from last year did not look very good. I need an gameplay up date on that game.

I have to say I'm enjoying Halo ODST so far which is astonishing considering I usually dislike Halo. I'm about halfway through yet nothing big has happened yet though.

The Brutal Legend demo was awesome as well. So buying that game day one.

I have the feeling the PS3 port of Bayonetta will be extremely poor. :(

Heh, that was new at MN State fair in 2008.

It's sooooooooooooooooooooo good.

A 'feeling'? That's it?

The devs are already placing it's shittiness on SEGA
Raiden IV is hard man. :(
Smallest 360 install I've seen yet, less than 400 mb.
How is the game? I ordered Darius Gaiden, and depending on how well that whets my whistle, I might get this when I get my 360 back.

Looks and sounds awesome.
Way more crazy and more "bullet hell-like" than the older Raidens.
Some of the achievements are no joke either. Won't ever get a couple of those.
Only dumb thing is they made two ships DLC unlock keys. :|
But fun game, makes me really want to dual mod an arcade stick already to play it properly.
Afraid of some clowns? The psycho clown in Dead Rising was one of my favorite parts of that game.
I love killing scary clowns. It's very therapeutic, personal interest rising.
Anyone know when the Arkahm day 1 giftcards from TRU are set to expire?
Going from memory here but it might be the end of this month.

I vaguely remember seeing it and thinking "shit that's not much time to use a TRU gift card considering I rarely shop there"

It's good. Some may question the price, but I'm enjoying it so far. I dunno if it's harder than the previous Raidens, but Shipwreck beat the game.

I played Forza 3 demo last night and it was good. Not a big difference in graphical quality over 2, but I could feel the subtle difference in the physics and handling. I'm stoked for the full game later next month. Brutal Legend is fun too. Am I crazy or did the game have no health or magic meter?

Didn't see one. I sort of assumed you couldn't really die, since I took some damage and seemed to keep on trucking.

ODST is unlike all the other Halo games right? You play as some recruit, and there's levels in a real city? Maybe I'd enjoy it. There's a bunch of used copies in the area already. Lighting makes all the difference on the cars, but the driving was more fun in Forza 3. We'll see how GT5 turns out.

It looks the same to me--wasn't it supposed to be an add-on/expansion to Halo 3 at first? I hear that your avatar isn't quite as resilient as Master Chief, so that makes it a little bit more challenging?

Yeah, I have it on order 'cause of Amazon's crazy discounts, but I'm not the biggest Halo fan, lol.

Pretty much. It also has a decent story, unlike the other halos, about the ODST unit and there is some neat back story for some citizens of the city ala Bioshock via the audio-logs. It plays out in a semi non-sequitur mystery/action fashion. It's less cheesy than Halo but still in the same universe if that makes any sense. The rookie and ODST don't regenerate health just sheilds, so there is more tension in the gameplay. You can't avoid combat and just wait to regenerate, you have to tactically retreat on occasions and sometimes run though a battle to get a health pack and such.

Edit: I would rent it if I were you dallow.

Smallest 360 install I've seen yet, less than 400 mb.
I want Raiden IV, but $40 is just too much for me. I felt $30 for Raiden III on PS2 was not worth it after I got it, but that's just me.

I did buy Fate/Unlimited Codes from PSN yesterday. I hope to play it tonight, but I have to cook dinner (Spaghetti), do a lot of laundry, run the dishwasher maybe, and clean up since my apartment is a bit messy IMO. I'm also going to work on Saturday because I have no life and volunteered. :p Too bad I might never work 19 days in a row again having some days where I work over 11 hours.

I saw something on SD about it expiring on Halloween. That sucks, I was really hoping to use it on ME2.

Also like that health mechanic. Too many games use the regeneration crap. I missed sneaking around fearing for my life.

See me edit though. The replay is iffy especially if you don't love the standard Halo multiplayer / or horde type modes. You might want to rent it since it is on the shorter than normal side.
You need ECA, Mana.
Not really. I've actually lost a lot of weight since I've been working and I tend to still have more than enough energy a lot. ;)

I would like to play Halo ODST. I was also close to buying Batman during the Best Buy sale, buy one, get one half off, but decided to go with DiRT 2 and SingStar Queen.

You clearly made the wrong decision.

I also just posted NGS2 Trophy info in the Trophy thread. Um...wow, not getting a Platinum in that. It's impossible.

It's impossible.
Actually I didn't because the sale wouldn't scan when I bought the two games. The employee knew about the sale, but she checked the ad along with other employees. She thought it might have been RZ only, but it wasn't. So what she did was give me half off on one game. I actually got half off on DiRT 2, which was $60 (so I ended up paying $70 before tax). It really should have been $80 before tax (making SingStar Queen $20 instead), but I'm not going to complain.

I do play to buy Batman someday, it's just that since so many people bought it, I'll probably see tons of CAGs or other selling the game and I'll get a good deal.

Gumn, which meaning of ECA did you mean (I thought you meant the one that was some drug, until I saw the front page of CAG mentioning it with Amazon (I dunno what it is)).

:whistle2:(
Are you having trouble with the plastic wrap?

I played Fate/Unlimited Codes which I bought from PSN (on PSP). I really like and now I'm tempted to import some anime fighters on PSP.

Does anyone think Guilty Gear 2: Overture is worth $20 new on 360? While I probably shouldn't get it, I'm tempted to since I somewhat liked the demo from Japan.
