I demand a River City Ransom 2.5d remake for XBLA and PSN. That is all. Carry on.
Don't say that.

Look at how badly the Turtles in Time remake ended up.

ugh, don't remind me. I can't imagine what it would be like if they remade the x-men arcade game.. Spent countless hours playing that back in the day.

Konami had such a hot streak with arcade games in the early 90's.

Aliens, C.O.W.Boys of Moo Mesa, X-Men, GI Joe, Simspsons, RollerGames, Sunset Riders, Bucky O'Hare all need to come to XBLA/PSN, licensing be damned. I'd even buy Asterix I think.

Then again, if we can't even get Sunset Riders on there, what hope do the licensed games have

Activision should die. I hate that company with all the bullshit they've been pulling as of late.

I really wish eca codes weren't down. Saw the sneak peak of Borderlands on Giant bomb and the game looks really amusing. Eca with my gcs from BL and U2 would make it $37.
Isn't Acti charging higher than normal retail for MW2 in the UK as well?
Yep. Although with that big a release most shops in the UK will discount it.
I'm pretty close to the end of uncharted 2. I want to finish it tomorrow. The mulitplayer is really good too. Just a lot of wannabe gangsters on there. I think I hear more shitdicks talking ghetto slang on PSN than Xbox Live, but that's just me.
I've only played the beta and was surprised at the amount of ghetto banter on there.
Some ghetto guy called me "seener" last night while playing U2
seener - 1 definition - someone who likes to watch other people have sex and then try to join in without being invited.

Sounds exactly like seanr1221.

:

jump the shark. :whistle2:|
I'm in chapter 23. I don't remember anything happening there that jumped the shark.
Nah... I got a few more gameshares available for it though if you got anything good to trade.
I've got shatter, wipeout HD, MK2, FF7, Suikoden, Stardust HD, flower, and Trash Panic.

Amongst all the other reasons I previously cited as to why Uncharted 2 is great I've also noticed it has addressed one of my biggest pet peeves in gaming .. when the enemies focus on you and only you. In the one area Sully and I were side by side shooting and then I just pushed forward along the left side and the enemies on the right didn't see me do that cause their view was obstructed so they continued to shoot at Sully, completely unaware I was flanking them. I then managed to sneak attack them and knock em out. :whee:

CoD4:MW/CoD:W@W did this and it drove me nuts. Good to know that the AI in Uncharted 2 is a plus. Challenging games don't need to fucking cheat to be challenging.

In Uncharted 2 (At least through what I've played on Hard mode), you have A LOT less guys bum rushing you like they did in Uncharted 1. And that's definitely a positive because the AI in that game was crazy.

I picked up Uncharted 2 today. Haven't touched the singleplayer, but the multiplayer is crazy fun. I'm glad I didn't ever play the beta, so the experience is fresh.

You're doing it wrong.
Now that you mention it Maklershed, you are right. And it's pretty sweet that they do that.
Yes! That is what ND was talking about with, "action stealth". But, everyone thought they were only referring to the Heist Scene (where it is stealth only). So people were bashing on the "stealth" element. But, it is not one part it is infused throughout the game and it is there to be used if you want to or not.

Pretty neat.
ReRo, don't bash Uncharted if you haven't at least put in roughly 100 hours.
Sorry, I lol'd. :)

I bought Brutal Legend today. There's already an update I have to download. I sure with I could play the game.

I remember when I could just put in a game and play it, but no, not anymore. Instead I get to wait for updates. fuckers.

Why not sign off of PSN, then play it?

Because then I couldn't send him love messages while he's playing.

Seriously though, there's an update already for Brutal Legend? lol

Yeah, I miss the days when games were broken forever, instead of fixed by a 30 second inconvenience.
srry... i dont think I ever bashed U, I just suck at it honestly.
I know, I was just trying some conversational comedy.

Played some Fuel last night, first impressions are that it's pretty good. I don't think the demo really did it justice. I'm happy with it for the $20 I paid.

I see you play most games on the 360.

I hope martyrdom in MW2 works like revenge in U2 (but it won't) in that it will only drop a grenade when you die if you had a live one on you.
My friend begged me to play a little MP with him before he went out of town so I gave it a shot. A few fun games and other than the first match on a new map, my K/D was slightly positive at least.

We did the co-op but failed at the very end though, we need a better third partner. It was nice though, I hope they add more mini co-op levels like that.

Are you sure that's how it works in U2?

Anyways though, in a MW2 interview, they said that Martyrdom is back, but it's different. I think that's about the only way they can change it. Nobody keeps their grenades for long, so I'm not too worried about it.

I only seemed to drop them when I hadn't used my stock of grenades (which was rare) so it doesn't seem too useful. I did get one kill with one but I'll be changing to a different booster when I can. I rather use them when I'm alive.
Unless you're in Vacant, martyrdom isn't a big deal anyway.
Exactly, most people have used them before they die anyway. It's just the explosions can get annoying and it's simple to avoid most times.

A rare occassion that American box art is better than the Japanese counterpart:

Blocked at work but I'm assuming that's the U2 boxart you posted.

I actually prefer it, has the goofy pulp film look to it with the illustrated portraits.
