Thanks to fallout 3 I officially hate the color pink.

So if I go buy it at walmart, and order it from amazon, will they give me cash when I return the game?

Even in the beginning? Or how about the quests where you HAVE to use a melee weapon to complete them?

Your loss, melee weapons are the best weapons to use against most creatures and ghouls.

Woot, got it working again, and my game was still saved!!

I figured out how to change resolution and stuff, but that menu is in russian, so I can't read anything. I can't find the option to set it to 1440x900, 1280xsomething is as high as it goes. Gotta figure out a way to patch that to the english version I guess.

Man... when I first got Dogmeat in Fallout 3 he seemed to be useful. But now he just seems to cause my trouble then anything else. I think I might just go back to my place and tell him to wait there...

It is the quest you get from Moira at the supply shop in Megaton, I guess if you blew it up then you couldn't finish it. One of those the tasks is using this experimental mole rat deterrent which is on a stick and you have to smack so many of them with it.
 
Mirror's Edge demo = perfect. The game feels great; DICE really knows their stuff.

And just fyi, if you have Marble Blast Ultra, there's free DLC on XBLM (new level, new marble, and new achievement). The new cheesemint is pretty easy, so go get it!
 
Played a shit load of fallout 3 today. Sadly, that's all I did. I hate staying in on staurday's, but I didn't feel very good.

Great game. Just replaced the satellite dish and am on the way to rivet city. I'm playing on very easy. Makes the game more fun imo.
 
I dealt with girlfriend family drama and flipped into paying off Gears 2 and an extra Fable 2 that is up on Amazon.

I considered getting Mirror's Edge, but I don't really like the demo.

Fallout is AWESOME. Melee is good for Bloody Mess perk. Punching someone into explosion is awesome.
 
been freeing up a ton of space on my 360 today by removing stuff I never use.

I gotta figure out a way to get $60 before Gears 2 is out... my job has yet to pay me so I'm going to see if I can get some higher ups to speed it up... I'm also going to be updating my trade list tonight.

NXE gamercards are great!

Much more slick looking than the old ones. I'm tempted to get the NXE update that's floating around, but it disables connecting to Xbox Live until the 16th, and I need my TF2/Gears/Left 4 Dead fix.
 
I'm not sure how Fallout 3 works, but the old Fallout games had minimum strength requirements for some of the later, bigger weapons. I'm not seeing that so far, but my strength is pretty high.

I'm playing a stealthy, charismatic thief/sniper type.

Sneak Attack Criticals to the head are awesome.

I just updated my trade list a little bit. Looking to get rid of my copy of Soul Calibur 4 for $40 shipped if anyone is interested.

Other than that, I've had no time to game this weekend :cry: But I mean, I've really got nothing to play... I still can't get Fallout to work on Vista, so I may just buy it off of that link draco posted pages back.

Too bad stealth/sneak sucks in F3 compared to Oblivion. I can forgive that though.
 
I have 5 main Quest Missions left. It is one of the best games this year. I so far like Fable II more than this, just because I never got lost and actually cared about the characters. The story is good, but I enjoyed Fable II's more. The Survival Edition of Fallout 3 is way better than the LE of Fable II. Super stoked about Gears. Today was filled with Fallout 3, Juno and about to watch Transformers on Blu.
 
I dunno, it's not perfect, but I get plenty of good first shots. Sneak never worked the way it does in Oblivion in the original fallout games, so I'm happy. Sneak was more of a boost your pickpocket chance/sneak past enemies type thing.

Everyone's sold out of the Gears 2 LE here.. I'm surprised! Kinda wanted it..
 
Does anyone else love Pinball FX as much as I do? That is one of my favorite XBLA games. Really feels like a pinball machine and the tables are awesome. I play it a lot.
 
My friend loves Pinball FX. He's always talking about how IGN gave it a 6, and how that's bullshit. They'll tell you all day to go throw 10 bucks towards extra shit like Crackdown DLC, but a good pinball game? Nope.

I've only played it for a bit, but I like it.
 
updated my list, but I have to add one more thing before I can bump it myself: Artwork Comissions... I'll do original artwork commissions for trades/paypal. I doubt I'll get many requests but at least if I get 1 job from it I'll be good.

still missing out on Fallout 3 makes me sad, but LBP is making most of my time now... Fallout 3 can wait.
 
Do you guys think I'm wasting my time trying to get the first Fallout to work? Or should I just skip it and jump right in to the third one?

Not sure what people find about them to be crap, but I love mine. It was more expensive than the HP, but it was absolutely worth it.

You're not wasting your time as it's one of the best games/RPGs ever, but don't hesistate to play Fallout 3. You'll benefit from the exposure to the original, but it's not crucial.

Just buy them on GOG.com.
 
Some of the HPs aren't too great. My friend can't even use his dv9xxx on his lap because it gets too hot. It felt cheap too. DV5 is much better. I tend to think as Sony in the same vain as Apple. Not crap but you pay more for higher quality obviously.

Someone gifted me Castlevania II on the Virtual Console, so I played a little bit of that for the first time ever. I have absolutely no idea where I'm going. None. Haven't gotten around to doing anything else I'm afraid.

Just finished up the bomb in megaton. I went the good route. How is the bad route?

It's scary how addictive it is. I turn it on, and the next thing I know I've wasted two hours of my life.
 
It had crossed my mind to put Fable: The Lost Chapters (PC) into my Goozex list, but it was higher in points than I had hoped.

Would anyone like to voice an opinion on Fable for PC?
