Xbox version?
Do it. Unless yours is mint inside and out, it's worth the $40 at GS.
My case was all beat up so ebay wasn't worth it.
It's the PS2 version, and I bought it new 4 years ago

I don't have the case right now, but I can have it by the weekend so it'd be comlpete and mint

Last I checked, it was going for $75 on eBay and $70 on Amazon.com. So after fees, I'd end up with close to the $58 I'd get in GS credit, and I wouldn't have to bother with sending for the case/manual

---------------

Whoknows:

It's coming to PSN/XBLA
So guys... Walmart (Canada) has 360s for 177, 277, and 377 + my sisters 10% discount... Should I buy one?
Do you like videogames? Then, yes.

ninja, your new avatar looks kinda like a bad portrait of chevy chase.

but yes, jest, that's probably a fair price to get in on a 360. finding a cheap year of live will be your next problem, most likely.

Hey guys. Back from a mini break again.

LBP is pretty tough! I'm not too far in, but I'm loving it so much! It's so fun... What bothers me though is my urge to find everything! And if I can't, then I kill the fun by hunting for stuff and getting pissed not finding it. That, and I'm not very good at platformers

What's new and exciting with you guys?

I'm compulsive about the need to collect everything. I died and had to restart the 3rd area because I couldn't manage to get the timing right for getting the pushblock jump past the ghost. :\ It really bothers me I can't get the coop ones when I'm playing single player. :(

That's where I'm stuck! Those ghosts suck ass! My girlfriend beat it no problem while I was sleeping. She then proceeded to wake me up every time she was at a two player part. But I have a feeling you could "potentially" do those parts if you fire up a second controller and just like play octopus with your hands and feet or something.

I really can't wait to give the level creator a whirl. And do you know if you can export pictures you've taken in game for stickers?

I know you can use your in game pics for avatars... makes sense you could use them as stickers, but you'd be better to ask someone who has more experience with the creator... i just ran through the tutorials to get the items they unlock... though the explosives/rockets/danger tutorials were fun. And while frustrating, the creature tutorial got me a trophy. :)

I had no problems with the ghosts... it was just the stuff on the upper ledge to the left -- I wanted it so bad and would get distracted trying to figure out the timing/rhythm to jumping with the double block to get up there... then the ghost would be like... BOO. And I'd be out of lives before I knew it.

I put in Fallout 3 at like 10 this morning. I checked the guide later to see it was 2:30 in the afternoon!

And I didn't do a single "main quest" type thing.

Right now, I couldn't fathom playing another Oblivion-ish type game... I think that's one of the main ingredients on my block of Fallout 3. After checking out some more reviews and stuff, it's not as grey as the initial gameplay videos I saw would indicate, but the post-nuclear thing does seem to have left the color palette as a doom/gloom type thing.

Is there a lot of replay value to going through again with a different alignment? Maybe I'll give it a legitimate shot over Christmas.

Same here. I just finished a good 3 hour session. Done very little of the main storyline so far.

There's an unbelievable amount of stuff to do and good/neutral/evil all have an effect on what you can/can't do, who helps you/tries to kill you.

Seriously, replay shouldn't be your concern with the game. I've put like 30 hours into it and have barely done the main quests.

my only caveat is that if you don't like running around, exploring, and looting, then you're going to hate the game, 'cause that's half the fun. If you do like that, then great, because it has the most interesting open world of any game I've ever played.

I just finished gears 2 today.

I actually found the story to be much better than the first one, especially concerning Dom's parts.

I'm interested to see what's going to happen after the ending of this one.

Anyone up to playing tonight on gears 2? Find playing with a bunch of ggters/cags more enjoyable.

Oh and figured out it was Dastly I lost connection with early this morning not you Dallow lol.

This week's Famitsu reveals even more new playable mobile suits in Gundam Musou 2 (DW: Gundam 2)! This time, they are introducing some rival units. The new playables are YMS-15 Gyan from Mobile Suit Gundam, ZMT-S33S Gottrlatan from Mobile Suit Victory Gundam, and CONCEPT-X 6-1-2 Turn X from Turn A Gundam.
I hate the Gyan. The Zekes got a bit too wacky with the mobile suits at times. Don't even get me started on the Zackarello... Nice to see some V Gundam suits in there though.

The first episode wasn't supposed to be the first. It was supposed to be like the 7th. Bandai forced Tomino to make it the first because they wanted the new mobile suits introduced as quickly as possible so they could sell more toys...

Give it more of a shot because V Gundam is quite good. It's not on the same level as the original or Zeta, but it's up there.

Anybody want to do some ranked Gears tonight? It's just about impossible to find a match without a full party. I'm going to dinner right now, but I'll be back in a couple hours.

Has anyone tried the "drop-in/drop-out" gears 2 coop yet?

If I start coop, but nobody joins me, does it default to computer controlled AI until another partner joins in? Will I still get coop achievements?

Yes, they can join you at any time. They'll take over the A.I.

No, you won't get the co op achievements.

Lame. Does anyone in here need/want to run through the campaign (again) w/ coop?

I would be happy to play some insane co-op sometime.

I'll probably end up doing co-op in gears 2 with my brother like I did with the first game , but if anyone wants or needs someone to co-op with I'd still be willing to go.

I'd be game for some multiplayer gears 2 tonight , I just hope that my connection can hold up. It's still been giving me problems. Gotta call AT&T later this week and see if they can help fix it at all.

I gave the level creator in LBP a whirl. It seems very complex. But I think it's just because I'm not sure what everything does yet. I've watched most of the training videos and feel like with a little time I'll have something halfway decent to play with. But I think the first level I work on is going to just be a tweak of a template they give.

I'm trying to get back into that...and Dead Space...and Resistance 2, but Valkyria Chronicles is just too good. Everytime I have time to play a game that's all I want to play.

Gears 2 horde is amazing with all my friends.

Left 4 Dead demo is also amazing. I wish custom button layout meant that you could actually assign buttons though for the 360 version and not just four different pre-made configs that are basically the same thing. I doubt I'm day one on it based solely on the fact of how good a game Gears 2 is plus I have Madden/NHL 09, and none of my friends will get it so while playing with strangers is fun I won't need to rush to play with my buds.

Just started watching Hellboy 2 and I'm already bored. I'm at the part where a really white guy is cutting water with his spear.

I think I'll just turn it off and play Valkyria instead.

Great night on Gears 2. I'm slowly improving and learning new tactics. Started playing just Rei but then joined Chac, Relentless and a bunch of other cags. Ended playing Horde but only got to wave 17 before dieing sadly (almost everyone was tired and had to leave anyway). Hopefully play more tomorrow night.

Weekly Famitsu has reviewed The Last Remnant, giving it a score of 10/10/9/9 for a Platinum Award.

Dang.

But, they also reviewd Infinite Undiscovery over Lost Odyssey, and they sell their reviews, but still, it's a (semi) good sign.

GTFO. Kawazu is executive producer and that guy is the kiss of death.

They also gave FFXII a perfect score  A semi-good sign at best, yeah; I'll wait for more reviews, methinks...

What else has he done?

good morning... listening to the mirrors edge soundtrack at work... I like the soundtrack but the game needs work... not the actual physiscs or gameplay, just all the aesthetics all seem too much of a mish mash. it can't make up its mind.

Yeah, look who's up before 2 PM today, me. I'll probably need a nap later though.

Maybe I'll tackle the GoW2 campaign today. Multiplayer has been keeping me away.

I'm only up because I work today... >_< if that wasn't the case I'd be dead asleep till 4pm.

I'm working on a new video... this time more fun. I'm actually working with a chiptune artist this time which is really nice. I'm hoping to do work for some chiptune labels down the line...

here's a DVD cover I made using some graphics from the video:
