Aaaaand I've fininished Planescape: Torment. Thoughts are as follows...
Basic grinding is mostly irrelevant. 75% of the EXP seems to come through quests and conversations.
Party members are often irrelevant since they force EXP division. I probably should have just gone with four or five people. Honestly, Morte the Floating Skull was probably my best non-main-character fighter 'cause at least his HP wasn't made of suck.
Black Isle
really loved the motha

in' whores.
Black Isle also sucked at doing AI. It seems like everyone in both Torment and Fallout 2 would be afflicted with temporary mental retardation about 30 seconds into a fight without fail.
The last bit of the game was pretty weak. Especially the second run through Curst. The enemy AI basically gave up all of the I in favour of the A and tried to compensate by throwing huge numbers of infinitely respawning enemies at you. Basically just turned into some easy-as-

grinding.
The game gives you a rest button, but I found only
three places that allowed me to use it. One was an irrelevant plot detail, one was totally out of the way, and one was useful but stuck in the middle of that abomination of a fight in Curst.
The game also kinda gave a pretty big "

you!" to anyone who wanted to use axes and not be a bad guy. All the really cool axes were evil only, and it was too late to switch my character over to anything worse than neutral.
Tattoos > Armour.
Daggers > Swords, apparently.
Scottish accent = distracting. Especially whe only
one god damn character in the entire game has it.
Jennifer Hale has done voice acting for every single game in existence.
Damn good game overall with some major bugs and bad AI.
