The games prolly wouldn't sell because they're real games (aside from being shit), but they also wouldn't have cost a boatload of $$ to make. So unfortunately, Free Radical would live to see another game with monkeys toting guns.
That's the last thing anyone needs.
I like Free Radical, the Timesplitters series got better with each iteration, and Second Sight was a neat game with some promise. Haze & Lair just seemed to suffer from a small team trying to tackle the HD market. Not only would they have cost less as Wii games, but they would have had more time & man power to devote to gameplay. Not to mention smaller Dev cost & larger install base would mean they'd have to sell less copies at a cheaper price to make a gain.
So my mom wants to know what game(s) to get me for Christmas. Assuming she can only buy one of these two, should I get Persona 4 or Call of Duty 5? I want both pretty bad, but I'm dying to play P4.
I watched a few episodes of the 1up show today on the road. My SF4 hype got even higher with the little segment they did on it. I'm surprised at how much I like a show that is just about videogames.
I'll think I'll play a little more PoP (with a keyboard, stupid M$ and their shitty adapters) and then go start Persona 3 over. I'm only like 12 hours in, I haven't played it in forever so I'll be all lost, and I want to just put it on easy so I can play through the game and enjoy it and not have to do a bunch of grinding.
CoD5 is going to drop HUGE after the new year, so go with P4. By the time you're done with it you'll be able to pick up CoD5 on the cheap.
