Rolento, you should really edit the title of the "Indie" gaming thread.

Minotaur China Shop kinda sucks. "Absolutely superb" is really an absurd statement.
It only sucks if people don't look at it in that insane awesome perfect good way. I'll change it though... needs a new title.

anyone know if this is coming stateside? I've been watching it for a while...
I've had experience on both actually.

Same experience on both. No one did anything as a team.
The people I play with regularly all were met randomly on Xbox Live matches. That kinda thing can happen when it's easy to add friends and invite people across all games. The PS3 version of TF2 never got the few updates that the 360 one did either, so it's netcode is even more broken and there are even more map exploits. Not to mention that 99/100 people on PSN have no headset.

Don't blame the game for your inability to recognize good players and make friends.

I played the PC version with my 360 controller too and did just fine as a soldier, rocket jumping and all. Scout is a bit tougher.

I was playing Sniper on 360 just yesterday and had like 15 headshots and was 55-15 k/d. Controller is nearly at parity with mouse/kb, these days, IMO.
PC gamers stink.

I play TF2 PC with my 360 controller and crush keyboard/mouse dumbasses.

Even with the advantage of point and click, they aren't good at games.
lets see a screencap of your stats

I feel as if praising dual-stick controllers is going to cause DMK to show up. Like the candyman.

I forgot that RPG's could be exciting. After rightfully getting my ass whooped by the 2nd to last boss about 7 times in a row in Eternal Sonata, I somehow pulled out a victory with an unconventional strategy. It required a lot of good timing, and my heart was pumping by the end. Sooo satisfying.

Might pick up Resistance 2 on the way home. I want to try the online, and I feel as if no one will play it anymore once Killzone 2 hits. I would feel bad that buying it would delay me from playing Gears 2, but that needs a patch anyway, right?
Ohh its been awhile since I've seen Angels Revenge. Is that a dvd volume release episode?
Yep, volume 2. It's quite a funny ep, not the best on that volume but it's a solid Mike ep.

Sweet. I really need to start acquiring the old volumes before they get harder to find (like Volume 9! :bomb:).

And to keep things game related: I started Prince of Persia last night. I'm really digging it. The art style is beautiful and the dialogue and game play is great. Yes, I understand that its very :baby: but I'm having a lot of fun despite not having my dick smashed with a hammer.
Yeah, I can understand turning speed, but everyone has the same setup on 360.. it's not like you're at a disadvantage..
wasn't trying to start the PC vs. console debate, just pointing out why the PC version is more hectic. it's because of the turn speeds (and frame rate, if you have it at 60fps.)

"Challenge" and "High Difficulty" are overrated (at least around here). Sometimes a game that you can just sit back and cruise with is more fun.

Played more Fallout 3 last night. I just realized that, even after mapping most of lower quadrant of the Wasteland, I still have that other 3 quarters to explore. :p

Also, I dunno know why, but I was extremely compelled to fire up a PS2 RPG before I hit the hay. Ended up starting Dark Cloud 2.

as soon as I get some errands out of the way, I'm playing Metroid Prime 2 for as long as I can take it today. Need to get in some marathons before starting work next week

I suck balls with keyboard mouse control. If ever got a desire to play FPS on a PC I'd definitely play with a 360 controller. The mouse part is fine, but I never could get very proficient with the keyboard part.

Oh well, as noted before I have little interest in PC gaming anyway, so moot point for me.

Though I suck at 360 FPSs online as well, I at least do ok on the single player/co-op campaigns, where as with the few PC FPS games I've played I've often just set the difficulty to easy to compensate for my suckiness with the controls.

I used to be decent at FPS games. Now I just suck ass. It doesn't matter what I'm using, keyboard/mouse or controller, I still suck ass. I can finish single player no problem, but I get smoked online.
if anyone wants Brave Story for PSP, let me know cuz I'm getting rid of it at gamestop today. I haven't beaten it, got far, but lost interest.
How far did you get? I made it about 5 hours in before losing interest. I think I was trapped in some underground place.

I thought you liked Xseed, RR? Yike, I haven't gotten to the game yet and already two GGT'rs are dismissing this RPG. That can't be good...

I, too have dulled at FPS over the years. I was ok at Counter Strike, but now I'm just too slow to play competively at any level online.

I could never be good at them. I just don't have the attention span or the competitive spirit with gaming to take the time to really learn the maps and strategies etc. Practicing to get good just isn't fun to me. So I just play some online and have fun even though I generally suck most matches (just having a positive k/d ratio is a good match for me).

But in general I spend my limited gaming time mainly on single player games and just beat one and move on to the next. Variety is the spice of life.

I'm too busy playing fighters to get better at online FPS games. Not that I'm great at fighters, I'm pretty decent though. I know what to do and how to do it, but actually doing it when I need to is another thing.

I have to say, I've never been that good at FPS, but I could rack up the kills and jam near the top of the leaderboard when I was on top of my game.

I got near the end... pretty much all the gems and unlocked dragon summons... basically near the end.

I like Xseed, but they are always hit or miss for me
Found a dreamcqst arcade stick white with green buttons think it is agetech for 30 bucks. Can I flip it to eBay?
You can flip anything on eBay but with all the fees and crap that happen nowdays, I dunno if you'd really want to go that route anymore.

But yeah, as far as the Agetec DC stick, IMO it's the best stick made for DC, so it should sell just fine.

I'd keep it for myself personally, as I still play my DC.

Hard to say--looks like they are currently selling for about $75-80 shipped, but it's eBay, I'd rather not deal with their shit personally. Maybe you could set a price on Amazon or do craigslist or something, if you really wanted to make a few bucks off it. But if it were me, I'd keep it. The Agetec stick is quite good for DC--maybe a notch better than a PS2 stick with adapter, depending on what brand IMO (MM is free to dispute me on this, of course).

I think I'm going to go buy Blazing Angels 2 on 360 - I've got an itch for an Ace Combat type game, and AC6 was poop. Nick Suttner gave it a positive review.
hook me up with that stick
if its in excellent condition
, darthpumadawg. :[
That $$$$a is always hustlin. You'll probably get a stick with the buttons taped on.

I don't know how much they are going for, or how much shipping to the States is with delivery confimation. I can find out later.

Finally got around to playing the Dead Space demo....and promptly deleted the game from my Goozex requests (it was on Hold as I wasn't sure if I wanted it).

Not sure why I ever bothered since I hate hard games and don't care much for survival horror. :p

I got to 45 seconds in that video. Marble Madness was so hard. Barely being able to reach the trackball might have made it more difficult though :p

Lookin' forward to skate. 2 as well. Just got another GS GC, so I can pay it off and still have more credit for SF IV next month. :whee:

I think I'm going to trade in Gears 2, LBP, Resistance 2, Rock Band, and Culdcept Saga to get a nice stack of credit. That would get me Street Fighter IV and maybe Fallout 3. Goozex is another option but the lines are sooo long.

I might do the trade 3 thing, but I can't find 3 games I'm willing to trade away. Surprisingly, I'm still at a stage where I'm happy with what I got.
