About all I get from Mickie Ds these days is the Vanilla Ice Coffee. I try to avoid the fast food. :p

And Metal Slug 7 DS is great. Sure the console version will be "better", but you won't be able to play it on the go.

I feel in the mood for some Saint's Row 2. I'd like to try that Fear2 demo, too.

and how was it livejournal? I was talking about a videogame. that's what we do on these sites and sometimes that goes into a longer post. I know you're too busy critiquing everyone else to realize that.

Hey, turns out Dead Space is pretty sweet.

My brother turned up yesterday all, "hey, I bough Spiderman: Web of Shadows." Which is great because I wanted to play it but not spend money on it. And it's actually pretty solid.

Picked up a psp today along with both star oceans and disgaea. About to do the custom firmware so I can put some of the psone games I've never finished on it and try to beat them finally (xenogears is a big one). Picked up Persona 4 also and pretty good but not as good as Persona 3 was so far.
 
Man, Yakuza 3 needs to come to the US... it's like... the only good game Sega's developed this year, and that second half of this year is looking... well, completely empty.

Milk is great, saw that and Gran Torino last night. Going to see Slum Dog Millionaire in a bit.

You do need to see Shawshank sometime. Not my favorite movie of all time, but a damn fine movie. Have the poster above one of my DVD racks. But I'd go with Milk on the big screen first as you can't beat the big screen.

Have been burnt out on gaming lately. I've barely played any the past couple of weeks. Been watching TV (24, Lost), sports, reading and working a lot.

Seriously, WTF has been announced for this year? Maybe I'm just not paying attention, but the only games that come to mind are SFIV, RE5, and Retro Game Challenge.

Like nothing. This is a shitty year both for gamers and the companies... though honestly, the industry needs a good shakeout at this point...

Hmm... well I thought so simply because I like having the best version available. But in terms of video quality, it looks damn good. There are a few points where it doesn't look that much better than the DVD, but yeah, the improvement in video and audio definitely warrants the upgrade. Especially with how cheap it is.

Eh. The Wii's first quarter is about ten billion times better than its last few months, though really, that's not saying much. Too bad I won't be fucking around to play it.

Aside from that? Fire Emblem DS, Starcraftmaybe, assorted Platinum Games releases, Punch Out... fuck, there had better be Half-Life 2: Episode 3.
And there had better be some mothafuckin' Adrian Shephard, god dammit.

Same here, For some reason I have been pretty burnt out on game for the last few months(It started shortly after I got Persona 4). Instead of gaming I have been taking care of my backlog of anime DVDs....

FEAR 2 is indeed awesome. It's still got guns that are fun to fire, you still feel like you are sufficiently fucking the enemy up, and it's still stylish. Totally sold on this one... and I'm glad that this turned out, since it's been like... a little more than 3 years since the original?

Haven't d/led the new drivers... probably won't.

At first, the buildings just look a little better than FEAR 1, then you get outside and shit just looks amazing.

The drivers are probably fine, just my HDTV bein' ghey. I dunno.
 
Definitely agreed about the guns too. I can't remember the last FPS with gibs like this....Rise of the Triad, maybe? :lol: The shotgun blows the guy in half, along with his arms and head at close range!

Really? I tried it with the nunchuk+remote combo. Alls I wanted to do was play CVIII, if the classic controller works I'm in business.
 
GC controller and nunchuk do not work on the Wii menu. CC does. Something deep down in the recesses of my memory is currently screaming that you must first point somewhere on the screen and then the CC will work, but I dunno.

My Wii is down for repairs, otherwise I would test it out right now.
