I like how the enemies in FEAR2 hobble around when you hit them in the legs or arms.

And how the dudes with the backpacks pop open when you hit said backpacks. Fun stuff.
trade/sell it to me XD
So you can give it to me.

... oh really? ... do go on.
I somehow feel this will be eternally quoted... but I didn't realize it was the framerate dipping, I thought it was just a dramatic effect since it happened at epic moments.
What did you think all that motion blur effect that was caked on the game was used for?
What did you think all that motion blur effect that was caked on the game was used for?
Good point, it did a good job of masking the bad framerate.
Those complaints are lame. Checkpoints are pretty much around every corner.
No its a valid complaint since Fear 1 had it.

It has been toned down for the console, enemies aren't as smart as Fear 1 it seems, and this stupid grain filter is annoying as hell.

If anyone has any AAA gamecube games they wanna let go cheap, send me a PM. There is a lot I need to catch up on.

I saw someone say they had Viewtiful Joe but I can't find the post.

Guess I'm just not as nitpicky as some people ;)

You can get VJ1 for $2.99 used at GS.
I never used lean and don't understand the point of it. that extra centimeter you gain from leaning is never the difference between life and death...
Exactly.

I did use the lean in FEAR1, but the gun-sight aiming is a worthy trade.

I think the enemies are about the same. I'm playing on hard though.

It's probably a difference in how the areas are a lot more open now too. FEAR1 had tighter AI cause the spaces were smaller, i think.

The spaces were a lot smaller in FEAR 1. I don't feel that the enemies are dumber in any case.

FEAR 2 = Awesome though. I loved
Walking around where the nuke went off and seeing the people all burned and stuff.

Yeah I don't think they're dumber, you just are able to shoot them easier since the areas are bigger. In FEAR1 dudes were always all up close and able to rush you and stuff.

I actually like using the pistol a lot in FEAR 2. i'm only on interval 3 yet though.

When you arent playing on the pussy difficulty it can be.

Like suko said, Viewtiful Joe is $2.99 at GS. But if you can't find it for some reason, I'll give it to you. Lemme know if you don't find it.

played it on hard, mr. tough hardcore gamer dude  lean button vs. quick strafe in and out...go! lean button is lame and awkward, strafing feels natural and superior.

Lets have a duel!

All-day grading, little time for gaming. Whored some trophies in the Sonic collection, and now I want to play Phantasy Star 1 again - the last time I played through it, it was on the GBA collection, which had a unique feature exclusive to the GBA collection: it arbitrarily deleted your game save.

Must of taken years to add that in. The algorithm of what the perfect time is to piss someone off. The pseudocode alone would drive a man insane as he'd have to feel out how angry someone would be at each iteration. Poor guy probably went home and hung himself with rusty barb while trying to saw directly down the middle of his skull. He had a good night, was fully refreshed and went back to attempting suicide. It took so many months to do it, that in the end, the PTtPSO Algorythim was scrabbed because of budget cuts. To replace this feature, they simply allowed the game's buffer to fuck up the saves or purposely opened the file just to put a few new bits here and there. fuck... I won't remember what I wrote until tomorrow, I'll proofread it there, too tired.
Played a lot of Tomb Raider Underworld and Onechanbara today. Had fun with both of them. I think I'm liking Onechanbara more than I should...
I unfortunately didn't have as much fun as I thought, but it was still an improvement from the PS2 version.

:(
One of Lady Gaga's songs was in my head all day today.

Playing MGS4 again, this time listening to those podcasts you can download. They're pretty funny, and there's some shit I didn't know about. Like in Act 2 when you're tracking Naomi, you can find a "Walk of Fame" slab with Kojima's signature on it. That secret in particular wasn't very hard to find, but I was trying to get the hell out of that area anyways, so I didn't bother following the handprints during my first playthrough.
Dont you mean eleven?

You guys in America get it on the 27th dont you, like us UK guys.
Ahh shit you're right. :bomb:

Hey Mak, I watched Manos on Friday night, damn that Ep gets funnier every time I watch it. Also watched Manhunt in Space, it was ok but nothing startling.

Gamed a lot this weekend, got most of the cheese on Sonics UGC, everything except the cheesemint for completing Dr Robotnick's Mean Bean Machine, just can't beat the last level:bomb:

Played some Baja 1000, Lego Indiana Jones and UEFA Champs League 06-07. Also co-oped some Gears 2 with a mate on Hardcore.

I watched I Accuse My Parents and Boggy Creek II. :)

I haven't put my order in for XIV yet. I have to do that soon. Thankfully I have a $50 Amazon GC sitting here waiting to be used.
whatever.
well, in more exciting news, I disabled avs and sigs for work. I like it so much, I decided to keep it. Anyone else do this? :)

The Joel Eps on it aren't that great, Manhunt in Space was ok I guess, I'm hoping the 2 Mike Eps will be better.

Has anyone heard anything about the online play on SF4, are there any doubts about it, like lag problems or crappy matchmaking or such ?

I hope not. I'm looking forward to the game, but not that much. I still don't like the art style, and I still vastly prefer SNK to Capcom.
