good thing I bought Double Dragon day 1!

It's so awesome. Probably the best game on live that nobody has played. I'm gonna hype it up a lot and get people to love it so I can make people who don't own it feel bad. Gonna do a LTTP thread on neogaf that borders on, nay, IS complete viral marketing with tons of pics and extensive write ups, all designed by BruceLeeRoy. It'll take up 5 posts.
That'd be so hilarious if you did.
I'm a little bit past that. Like I said, Aurora makes me so mad! :pist!!!!: But yeah I'm liking it. I just wish healing wasn't such an expensive spell though.
She was  when I first got her cause she knew magic, but now that I have that big sword and some magic she ain't all that. Why do you hate her?
I really enjoy free graduation money. I'm proud of myself for not spending pretty much any of it yet, mainly because I have so much shit to play right now I just can't bring myself to buy any games.
I'm actually only buying the clothes, no sneakers, and XBL time/points with graduation money. Most of that money I'm putting away. The other stuff I'm going to get in due time with money from selling old stuff (games, etc.) on eBay.
Ugh I fucking hate when RPGs don't tell you where the hell to go. It's like, yeah, game, do you just not want me to play you? I don't wanna go to gameFAQs. Dick.
I hate when I take a break and completely forget what the hell I was doing before, so I either have to wander around until it clicks or I start over again. Is DQ8 the only RPG that at least has a reminder feature that can at least help point you in the right direction?
Damn...

First Ed McMahon

Then Farah...MJ...

Then Billy Mays...

Now the CAG search bar...

Is it ever gonna stop?
:lol::lol:

That was horrible! ... but it made me laugh.

What is the point of Dynasty Warrior!? I remember seeing the first footage ever of Dynasty Warriors 6 for next gen consoles and be blown away and when it came out, it looked exactly the same as the PS2 version. Who's buying these?!
Are we ever gonna get that gameshare group going, DarkNessBuddy? When does that fat bitch game come out?
Wondering the same thing.... Pretty sure we had 4 (Me, Beef, you and Darkness). Finding a 5th wouldn't be too hard I bet.

I'm buying them. I'm enjoying DW6 Empires currently.

Yea, as soon as Fat Bitch comes out I'm on it.

Although, I'm not too keen on the idea of me paying for the entire thing and depending on you guys to send me money! I'm down with buying one game and sharing it with 4(?) others and then the next person buys the next game and shares it with me and 4 others ect.

OT: Watching the Bonus Round and they are talking about how much easier the 360 dashboard is to use compared to the PS3 XMB. Do people really believe this? I find the 360 NXE to be much more daunting then the XMB. I find the XMB to be very fast and simple. On the NXE, they seem to throw way too many picture thumbnails at you. But, it could just be that I am more used to the XMB.

So, you're the reason why they keep making Dynasty Warrior games! What is so fundamentally different about 3-6 that is worth dishing out the big bucks on every iteration? (Pure curiosity).

"Chat with party at save point" seems to be increasingly commonplace. Wild Arms 5 had it.

I could explain, but I doubt you'd care much about renbu systems, weapon leveling, and fortress sieging. All that needs to be said is if you're a fan then you know what's changed, if you're not a fan that's not going to change so it really doesn't matter.

Garou: Mark of the Wolves looks good on XBLA, can't wait to sink some time into that.

Only two missions to go in Prototype! One of the best open world games of this generation, I think.

Wow, when TRU had their B1G1 50% off DS deal, I ordered The Legendary Starfy and Flower, Sun, and Rain, for $45 total. A couple days later they removed FS&R from their website, and shipped me Starfy for $15. Then they cancelled the FSR part of the order. So really I just got a Nintendo-published game at a clearance price. Sweet.

Joke account confirmed.

I rented Ghostbusters 360 last night. First time I've rented a game in years. Years!

Played for about an hour and a half, and am really glad I didn't buy this at full price.
Everyone said it was good, but I guess I just need more. It's alright so far, I'm sure it'll get better.

NXE its too ugh. Seems too cluttered. Hate how you have to go slide after slide after slide just to get where you wanna go

I agree. I want the blades back.

Seriously? Everytime I use the 360 it always freezes if I try to navigate the menus within the first minute or two of turning it on. It's annoying.

Damn NXE was lagging so bad last night and froze once even.

I just wanted to play Ghostbusters and it took 5 minutes of waiting before I said fuck that and reset the system.

I like the look of the NXE but it's just too slow, and I wish I could turn off the "spotlight" row.
I like the mini-blades too but sometimes it lags as well.

Finally got time to start playing through RE5 in local co-op with a friend.

We're loving. Only gripe is that it's lame how they did the split screen with the small 16x9 segments rather than dividing it evenly in half and using the whole screen ala Gears of War.

Doesn't seem like power should be an issue if the Gears games ran so smoothly, and aspect ratio is pretty moot in games compared to movies since the user is controlling movement and the camera etc.

Oh well, still having a blast and the screen area isn't too small on a 50" TV anyway. I'll probably play through it once by myself on easy after we finish it to enjoy the graphics full screen. Or maybe do it on a harder difficulty down the road on online co-op after I move and my buddy gets his own 360.

Hi ben. I just went through the Rifftrax Shorts Vol 1 and 2. It was fantastic. I highly recommend it.
Hi Mak, I have Vol 1 and yep its good times, I'll order Vol 2 at some point
and I wish I could turn off the "spotlight" row.
:applause:

Damn right, that Spotlight thing is annoying as hell.

Wow you guys, it's not even bad. I just use the mini blades when I need to get somewhere, and it works just fine.
The fall update is supposed to speed it up even faster.

In comparison to the old one, it's pretty bad. I'll take the old interface over NXE any day.

Xbox 360 - wait 5 minutes to get to your game due to lagging NXE

PS3 - wait 25 minutes to get to your game due to updates/patches/installs

It's good stuff. My biggest complaint though is that they lower the volume of the movie whenever one of the guys talk and then the pan the volume back up to what it was. It's kinda distracting.

DarkNessBuddy - its not like we're unreliable, we're on CAG almost everyday and we have jobs. Chill out, man. If you buy Fat Bitch, you can count on us to send you the 2.xx (cover the paypal fees) and it'll be fine! Sheesh. A simple PM to each of us to let us know what we owe is fine. Just as long as its games and not crap like RB2 songs, etc.
I've not noticed any slow down issues with the NXE on my 360 lately.
Probably cause you don't have any friends. Loading of the avatars/gamerpics is what lags it. I noticed one of my buddies system moves entirely too fast and he only has two friends on his list. :D

I have a full friends list, and everything and the NXE blades are extremely easy, let alone the small blades for quick access. I hardly use it though, because I'm gaming, not doing other shit all the time.
I've not noticed any slow down issues with the NXE on my 360 lately.
Mine hangs when it's trying to talk to Live. Like when I first boot up or when I first open the mini-guide. Disconnect the ethernet cable and BAM, no issues.

Go outside:D

I'm doing that as well(except I'm playing with my wife and a 32" TV), and I can pretty much agree with just about everything you said about RE5 splitscreen.

What the hell is wrong with everyone's 360s in here? Mine runs like a charm. I get, at the most, maybe 3 seconds of lag, but even that usually doesn't exist.

Only thing that takes a bit is if I go to the friends row, sometimes it takes about 10 seconds for everyone to show up, and that's probably because I have like 90 something "friends"

My NXE runs fine with no lag, but the online sucks balls like a Nut Goblling Jigaloo.

By online I mean marketplace... going into the sub menus take too long to load all the items >_

Yeah, my 360 is fine other than the odd time where my games library decides to not display any games for a few seconds.

I liked RE5's splitscreen on my 35in TV. I've never dug the way spliscreen is usually set up.

I've gotten 10 seconds or so of lag in NXE, and I only have 5 people on my friends list.

I like how 40 hours of Blue Dragon earned me 30 GS but 3 hours of Crackdown earned me 50.
