Do you not have a receiver? I'd say go component, but I kind of remember reading that some future 360 feature requires HDMI, don't remember which though.

Is the WET demo worth playing? My cousin is gushing about it.
WET demo is pretty cool, the jumping is kinda weird at first, and its a bit rough around the edges. However, its damn fun and stylish to boot.

Ballad of Gay Tony is looking pretty good based on today's new trailer. I'll get it, but I do wish I had a waited for the dual DLC bundle now. >_
It'll probably be like the track packs, which has the code on the manual so you'd need buy it first.
I kinda doubt it since it's a large number of songs... plus I hope ur wrong cuz I wanna play "Take it To The Limit" in RB2.

Wet demo was awful. I figured why waste time going into the "bullet time" when you can just run up and kill em' in one hit with your sword.

BTW, where the fuck have I been to miss "A Boy and his Blo" for the Wii? That game looks awesome.

I thought that Wet was pretty cool and could be some mindless fun for a boring summer day.

Maybe I can grab it on Black Friday? I remember reading that it will not release at full price.

I had a blast playing the Wet demo. I'm definitely gonna get that game but I can tell its gonna drop in price big time not long after its released so I'll wait a little bit.
nice!

Rock Band LEGO weill be able to export tracks to RB2 :)

time to throw it on my gamefly que and get a larger HDD.
I suspect they're smart enough to do it the same way they did the AC/DC disc.

Unless the "track pack" discs let you import from the disc, no fee, no code. Could be wrong.

Thanks for the help, guys.

I think I'm just going to stick with component. I switch inputs to avoid Image Retension on my plasma when I step away from the 360 for a bit or whatever and having it restart when switching inputs just wouldn't work. HDMI probably is a little better but I miss real surround sound, and a new reciever isn't in the budget. I just got this one earlier this year.
The Wet demo made it seem like a decent purchase for $10.
Yea possibly. The only part I enjoyed was jumping around on the freeway while shooting dudes in the face. But the rest has been done before, and has been done better.

Why don't you just turn off the TV to save power while you're at it?
Why don't you just turn off the TV to save power while you're at it?
Well, that too. If my gf is in the room I'll usually leave it on over-air. I do switch off my power strip at night and when I'm at work to save power. I hear those can eat up like $140 a year on your utility bill.
A new Bonk game with online co-op?

:bouncy:
Sweet. Keith Courage next? j/k I hope it's an arcade title after seeing it, the aesthetic is a little wonky. [Edit: confirmed it's XBLA, PSN & WiiWare]

For Batman : AA, once you beat the game, can you go back to collect the riddler challenges? I only have a few hours left and I don't want to finish the game and not be able to come back...or do they carry over if you play Hard?

Yeah you can go back through Arkham when you've finished the story and pick up things you missed, it's empty so that makes things a bit easier I guess.

I don't believe anything would carry over to a new save on hard, not Riddler challanges nor upgrades.

There will be no shit-talking about Keith Courage.

Also, that there has been no rerelease of The Legendary Axe this generation makes me so unhappy.

Played more Batman.

Man, I can't believe the game is this good, few nitpicks aside.
It's very satisfying. I'm so glad I went for it.

They made Bonk a little sadistic looking there, I want his kiddy happy face back!

I hope the feel of the game stays the same, don't want him to end up floaty, b/c that's what his head spin is for =D

Alpha Zones- represent!
That new Bonk game looks terrible.
Yea, I was pumped- but after seeing the screens, not so much.
Sucky, maybe you can still explore a T-Rex's G.I. tract for old times sake.

Batman was awesome. I see the similarities in final fights between AA and Bioshock, but I found Arkham's to be more satisfying.

Stupid Champions Online. They nerfed all the XP/powers as soon as it officially launched yesterday--a big "fuck you" to anyone who had the early start/pre-order weekend. I almost felt sorry for the folks who did the lifetime subscription purchase. I think they rolled back though--they did an emergency maintenance last night but I haven't had a chance to find out what they did. Funny to read the huge crush of complaints that came though.

Anyway, Champions is the only reason I'm not playing Batman AA right now. :p

Edit: Hm, after re-examining things, it looks like they did not roll anything back. It does appear like many of us playing CO aren't playing their classes to the best potential, though. I have to recant my statement, but I do still think there's something wrong when the MOB fodder (called "henchmen" in the game) can take out your supposedly "super" Superhero. Cryptic did a really poor job explaining the leveling, talents, and powers and what everything does in the game so no one really knows what they're doing.
Batman = Serious GOTY.
Just finished it. Incredible.
I'm having a hard time seeing this take over Mass Effect 2 or Uncharted 2, but I'll take your word since I have yet to play something other than the demo.

I'm sure Batman AA has no need to worry about Mass Effect 2... since ME2 isn't even coming out this year.

I can easily say it's top 5 fave games this year for me. Never would have expected that. From all the videos, I thought it'd be just another boring beat 'em up.

Even my ladyfriend likes to watch me play. She loved the
Scarecrow sections
.

BAA is definitely my Action GOTY. I hope more companies start making games based on popular comic, cartoon, or book franchises that don't necessarily have to tie in with anything. *wink* Transformers *wink*
