Do it.
 the worst known idea about art school is that it's not hard. I will say it's jsut as hard as getting a law degree, it's just a toally different state of mind.

Two questions:

1) When did you start college?

2) What was your gamerscore then?

Senior year in computer engineering here.

Some semesters have been doozy's though. I think my senior project is going to revolve around an iphone app, which should be interesting
Making pug videos is harder than a day in court.
Of course it is.

It's not like law students can go to the OT forum an ask for help on eminent domain case law.

lol rolento

I'm sure its hard work at art school, but its a different kind of work. It's a bit silly of you to call out a law student. That requires more years and technically more work to get a stamp of approval in.

I'd ay art school is harder than your average learn nothing communications major, but probably not on the same level as any of the sciences.
my freshman class had 45, and it dropped down to 20 at this point >_

Not to say art is an easy major, but any program where they can give you a "certificate" in 40 units is nowhere near majoring in law or pre-med where you're literally learning every goddamn thing there is to know on the subject.
I can't even imagine what you'd need Twitter for in the game.

I think it's primarily for reporting in-game trophies and multiplayer achievements.

He just started a couple weeks ago....

As for Art school....people shouldn't knock it. My under grad girl friend was an Art major and she worked a TON of hours.

All those painting, drawing, photography classes took a ton of time. People just shit on it as it doesn't seem like "real" work compared to writing papers etc. But, while she wrote a ton less than I or my friends did in other majors, she spent more time on her work. It takes a lot of time to produce A quality paintings etc.

For me, I didn't find undergrad, Master's, or getting a Ph D all that difficult. Time consuming for sure. But as long as you read pretty quickly, and write well it's not that hard. Hard science require good math skills etc.

But as long as you like studying/learning and can work hard, no major should be too difficult. Just time consuming.

The same it is now I've only played ten minutes of Rock Band since I got here.

So you're going to quit after two weeks? Why in the world is that?

Holy Shit! FM3 comes out Oct. 23rd!

Which makes your opinion worthless. lol

Why pay attention to the guy that still enjoys Sonic games?

By the way, he misspelled MotorStorm: Pacific Rift and maybe Dirt 2 wrong, as well.

Don't quit college, there's women in college! Attractive women!

Just do one of two things, major in bio or major in psych and you're pretty damned set.
So you're going to quit after two weeks? Why in the world is that?
It makes me hate everything

Too attractive for my ass

Only car racing game that has my interest slightly up is Split Second purely based off concept.

The last good racer I've played was Wipeout Fury... which is also my Add-on of the year so far.

Well, that makes for an easy answer now: get past yourself. It's not the college but the issues you yourself have with it. College is 90% bullshit, but work yourself past it and it pays off in the end.
What are the chances of Forza 3 being 40$ or less on Black Friday?
Not that good I would think, that will be a bit early for a drop, even a temporary one.

Having said that, stranger things have happened.

Yea, but the problem is. Even if you learn everything there is to know about your desired art field, you still need to be good. And the art field is so highly competitive that you can't just be "good" you have to be outstanding. And the amount of work you'll have to do to achieve that is as much as any other field.

@XBL - Aghhh. I was excited to go purchase the N7 Mass Effect 2 armor for my avatar (I had a couple bucks to spare) but I had no idea it is 4 friggen bucks! What the hell!? Who is pricing this shit.

I think it might be time to go to official firmware on PSP.

Motorstorm not working is kinda the last straw.

Soul Calibur PSP kinda sucks even more than Soul Calibur 4 did, though.

The best though is a ring (for your finger) for something like $2 but the thing is you can't even see it. Even in the preview of the avatar where you can move your guy around and zoom in and stuff you can't see it.

Thankfully, no bullshit MP trophies other than the two very simple ones.
Yeah thats what I was worried about. The only game I'm interested in for mp achievements/trophies is Call of Duty and maybe Halo.

Considering MW had 0 MP achievements, I doubt MW2 will have MP achievements. Especially since Treyarch isn't making this one.

Yeah, IW doesn't like MP achievements since they end up ruining games as people focus on getting them vs. playing the game straight up etc.
