Goozex delivers again. Rock n'roll Racing for the gba. Didnt even know it existed until I stumbled across it at Goozex.
That game is legit awesome, perfect game for the GBA.

Hm, X-Men Origins Uncaged is dropping over @ Amazon. Currently $46.99, which would be about $38 w/ECA x2. I'm still annoyed I missed the Gold Box a couple days ago, but the game has been very slow to make any kind of significant drop. I'll try and hold out a little longer for a bigger drop. I think I can feel better about getting the game for $39.99 - ECAx2.

Went and grabbed Sigma 2 and now I'm waiting for it to install :whee:

Also exciting news for me is
I'll finally be moving out of my parents house in the next week or two :D
I forgot Sigma 2 is out today. I should probably get it.
I'm probably just going to bite the bullet and pay full price for it (Amazon isn't that much cheaper). I do want to get the game no doubt.

I just posted a blog asking for advice on getting a new credit card.

The only reason I'm a bit hesitent has to do with how many games I'm buying this week. I already bought MotorStorm: Arctic Edge (PSP). Buying Klonoa from dallow this week. NG Sigma and GT PSP are others, but I may just go ahead and buy one (or both this week). I was also considering buying a 32" HDTV for my bedroom this week, but I'll just put it off until the end of the month maybe. Oh well, once I buy the games, I don't have to worry about getting them later.

Oh noes...Mana Knight updated his avatar again. The madness begins...again.

So...played some more Force Unleashed (Levels 4 & 5 to be exact). Um...is it me, or is this the point in the game where they want you to take a giant fuck you pill? I mean...flamethrower stormtroopers with shields that take 10-12 hits to kill. Just...ARGH! Oh, and then the damn AT-ST kills me in 1 hit. Beautiful.
I always love when someone thinks their opinion of a game means more than just about everyone else's. "Oh, I loved this game. All of the reviewers who said it was shit are just out-of-touch." "This game blows. It just got good reviews, because of the hype." Is it just possible that you like a bad game or you hate a good game?
My complaint against game critics was not at all rooted in any single review. This isn't about just Prototype. All of my favorite games tend to get mediocre reviews, and this is true of most people I know... and one trend I've noticed, those favorite games are usually pretty unoriginal. They're often just improved versions of borrowed ideas (Prototype) or sequels similar to their predecessors (Madden 10).

My theory is that the reason game critics value presentation and innovation so much is because they're jaded. It definitely stands to reason that hardcore gamers, gamers who regularly spend several hours per week playing games, some of them several hours per day, would have a very different opinion of unoriginal games than people who haven't played a ton of games. It stands to reason that someone with extensive experience playing Hulk, GTA, True Crime, Crackdown, Infamous, Godfather, etc, is going to have a very different opinion of Prototype than someone who isn't yet tired of that game design...

Before dismissing my comments as the rantings of some indignant jackass maybe you should step back and ask yourself if your assessment of games isn't affected by how many other games you play... you have a gamer score of 48,000... how many people do you think play as many games as you?

Because you left your favorite hat at the club last night which is ticking you right off cause you had that cap since you was real real small.
You need ECA Mana.

And yeah, I thought the way LucasArts designed STFU and enemy encounters was wtf cheap.
The only complaint I had was about the boss battles on Sith Lord or whatever the hardest difficulty was.

Well, I'm playing on Sith Master (the hardest difficulty). It's not too bad with the cheats being implemented, but the controller delay is what's really killing me.

I have a hard time being a dick in video games.

I'm playing through Mass Effect on a bad guy playthrough and having a tough time.

Sometimes it feels like the game is just throwing paragon points at you.

You decide to kill all of the inhabitants of a base yourself instead of letting your allies do it? Paragon points for you!

You decide to let a few prisoners sit there and suffer for a while rather than put them out of their misery proper-like? Paragon points for you!

fuck that!

EDIT: My supposed "renegade run" ended up with both renegade and paragon being about equal and both fairly high.

I'm sorry Pumacer about the noise complaint

fuck ninja gaiden sigma 2. That game is bullshit, just like NG2.

Garnett lee is gone. 1up yours is actually, really, finally over. :(

I'm listening to old shows to ease the pain. The TGS Wrapup with Garnett, Shane, and Mark Macdonald was a great show, like the old days.

And why's that?

Also, just beat Chapter 4. Just beat the shit out of
The Statue of Liberty

I played on that difficulty, but didn't use any cheats.

It was kind of random -- luckily, i found a spot where you could just answer the same question over and over again for paragon or renegade points.
Sigma 2 is a really easy game. Im on chapter 4 and have died twice maybe.

Awesome though.
Sounds like the anti-awesome. Let's suck the fun out of it! :whee:

Wait until the missles start flying.

I played the demo and was just bored. Itagaki didn't give a shit about that game because he was quitting. NG1/Black/Sigma is where it's at.

Super Street Fighter 4, eh? Kinda sounds like it should have been DLC. Kinda sounds like it should be $20, but it's going to be $40.

Edit: Only way I will care is if they buff Chun-Li a little bit and make her not so fragile/more heatlh and give her slightly better AA moves. Then i'm in.

I ran into a similar bug on my paragon run. There's a sidequest on some random planet where you have to recover a disc from a crashed satellite. Thing is, the disc was stolen post-crash by a monkey-ish thing. Four renegade points per monkey killed, and/or six if you recover the disc by searching the correct monkey. Thing is, when I found the monkey, I was able to search him an infinite number of times, and I kept getting paragon for it.

I was unable to replicate it during my renegade run.

STFU pissed me off more than just about any recent game I can recall.

All I wanted was God of War with lightsabers. Instead I got "Floaty Control Jamboree with Clipping Issues".
