Round 1:

Black & White 2 opens by turning huge swaths of land pitch black (or bright pink) at random for extended durations.

Oblivion counters by allowing players to reach otherwise inaccessible areas by climbing ladders of carefully-placed paintbrushes, which are immune to the effects of gravity.
Are you salaried, TMK?
Yes I am. But we still make extra for working overtime.
Hey tmk, next time you go to trade in a decent PSP game so you can get the downloadable version, let me know. I'd be happy to match whatever shit price they'd give you and then some.
I'll give it thought next time.
Think there's any hope left for 'Starcraft: Ghost'?
Well...

Nova's been spotted in concept art for SC2. The developers said something along the lines of "If we can work her in, we will."

But as for her game... about as much hope as a Marine has against a Lurker, man.

I'm wondering how good will the wireless madcatz tekken 6 controller will be when its released. I'm thinkinh about playing these fighting games with a joystick.

I also went back in time and have started playing mass effect.... Game is pretty good

So...I finished Uncarted 2.
Easily the GOTY, and top 5 all time.
Maybe the best ever.
I can't remember the last time I've had so much fun with a video game.

Just beat Uncharted 2. So great. I'm sad its over but I'll definitely playing through it again.
I heard someone throw this idea out and I really liked it.
I want a prequel where you play as a younger Sully and perhaps have a really green Drake be his companion.
I'm down for that. But then again I'm pretty much down for any game made by Naughty Dog at this point.

Yeah, I finished that bad boy today too. Definetly going back through it again someday. Onto Brutal Legend!

I decided to finally play Demon's Soul. I can definitely say its hard like everyone else, but cool game. I hope to play Uncharted 2 before bed time. I'm on Chapter 7 or 8 right now, can't remember.

That's a crock of shit that I want to be a part of. Where the fuck do I sign up for this plan? I'm sick of 60+ hour weeks at the rate for 40.
Critter Crunch is awesome.
Agreed. :D

I played Fallout 3 on PC, and it froze on me like three times in 45 hours. It had some bugs that were mostly ironed out with patches.

I plan to get Critter Crunch. Was going to get it, but I spent my extra PSN money on Guilty Gear Judgment download for PSP.

Also looking at buying two blu-rays this week on Amazon, Advent Children Complete (I just love it and I'm a FFVII fanboy) and Superbad. I'll probably buy a PSP Go cradle (lol, what official Sony accessory do I not own?)
There is no point to the cradle :whistle2:|
There is also no point in getting Advent Children.

...

Unless you're secretly Bruce Banner, and need a quick and convenient source of Nerd Rage.

fuck Advent Children.

So...I just bought a legit copy of Tetris DS, and I'm pretty happy about it, despite paying a not so CAG price for it. But it's quite possibly the rarest retail Nintendo game ever produced, so whatever. I've been trying to get a copy for 2 years, and now I have it, box, manual, and even the Wifi manual and My Nintendo code came with it as well. I'm very pleased about getting it.

I Platinum'd Uncharted 2 early this morning, but I'm going to hop onto the co-op in a few minutes to try and finish the first co-op mission and the Arena part. I really wish there were more than 3 co-op missions.
Yeah, I'm still waiting for my copy too. S'ok, 'cause I've been playing Demon's Souls this weekend.
I'm loving Demon's Souls, my only gripe about it is the poorly explained/overly complicated World Tendency/Character Tendency system

The atmosphere is fantastic, and adds alot to the feel of the game.
Useless post office has my U2:AT since Thursday. Remember the U2:AT official thread so no accidental spoilers slip please.
Yeah, well, in Uncharted 2,
you play as the guy who's on the cover

Dammit! I can't believe I read that! You just gave the entire game away! >_
What school are you at JSP?

And it's worth pointing out (even though I did it earlier today) that Uncharted 2 is fucking incredible.
Edinboro in PA.

How the hell did you do that already?

Also, do stats continue through U2 playthroughs? For example, if I had 150 headshots in my first playthrough, do I just need 100 more in Hard for the 250 trophy?

Same here. I only completed 1-1 so far as I don't have too much play time per session. Last night, I just ran the first parts of 1-2 a few times to mini farm healing items and souls. I may try to do Tower Knight boss tonight, but we'll see.

Finished Brutal Legend tonight and started Uncharted 2.

Brutal Legend didn't not live up to the hype I had for it mostly because those rts stage battles were so freaking annoying especially the last one which I died 10 times before getting it right. I enjoyed it overall but just wasn't what I expected at all.

Uncharted 2.. I have to say is wow.. passed all expectations I've had for it so far and thats only a few hours in. It takes everything Uncharted 1 did and refined it. The game just feels right when playing it. Can't wait until I get more time to dig into it but that won't be until later this week.

I emailed amazon as well to see if I could get Borderlands added to one of my orders with a stack.. see how that goes lol. Probably not gonna work but if it does be nice to get it at $40 around release.

Ugh, I died running across the bridge in 1-2--I stopped sprinting too early and the dragon's fire tore my ass up from behind. >_<

I felt stupid because the run immediately after that I ran the bridge just fine and beat the stage boss no problem. :p

I'm really liking brutal legend, but I'm only on the first RTS battle. I don't see what there is to complain about so far, but I guess it's the latter game that people had problems with.

Also: Zew finally got cought by the MS police. Looks like maybe Trakan too? I dunno about him.

I can't say I don't feel a bit of satisfaction from finding that out..

Did anyone get all the treasures in U2 without a guide? I feel like I'm pretty thorough, and only found 50-something my first time through.

Feels so good to get a whole game off of my backlog in 1 day. Halo 3 was pretty good, but suffered from being played immediately after Uncharted 2. Felt very un-cinematic as a result.

I have two questions that hopefully someone can help me out with:

1. In Uncharted 2, how do you activate the guns you purchase through the bonus menu? I tried doing individual chapters but couldn't figure out how to make them appear. Do I have to start a new game for them to show up?

2. What is the cheapest Netflix plan I can get that gives me Netflix streaming?

I hope Broly was right about chapter 4 being the hardest part of U2, because I died ~ten times on the battle I'm assuming he was talking about. If that's as bad as it gets, I won't have any problem beating it this first playthrough on Hard.

I'm going for my first Platinum in this game. I'm just playing through it on hard the first time, when I finish that I'll do crushing and go for all the treasures. Then I'll buy a bunch of the god mode shit and get all the kill achievements. I'm glad I skipped normal for my first playthrough. Hard mode is pretty challenging, but it's really fun, and I doubt normal could match the intensity.

Yup, they carry over. And I got the Platinum because I love Uncharted 2. It's also not very hard, even on Crushing. In fact, I died less on Crushing than I did on Normal (mainly because I knew what the game was going to throw at me). I also did it the stupid way by having 3 playthroughs instead of 2 since I started on Normal.

And the Chapter 4 part
Where Sully has the Sniper Rifle
is what I'm referring to. Chapter 20 is a little step down from that, but at least you know you're making progress on that Chapter.

Hi Mak, I think it's the one I'm on, one DVD at a time but unlimited rentals (i.e. not limited to 4 per month), costs me about $9.90 a month.

It's pretty clear when you sign up, they list which options come with streaming.
1. Pause the game, go into bonuses -> weapons, and just pick the weapon. You can't be climbing or in cover, though.
