I didn't see this mentioned anywhere, and when I mentioned it another trade thread, it sounded like no one knew about it.

Anyway, In the new May Catalog B&M, the one with Star Wars on the front, it lists:

Trade your N64 plus 6 games for $50 credit. Since they sell the used systems in-store for $17.99, this may be YMMV.

Also works for trade PSX plus 5 games for $50.

I just called one of the EBs and they tell me the deal is still going on, and they were told it should be going on through summer, probably until the end of August.

Same here, I just want to wait a few days and make sure they're right that the deal is going to continue. I'm nervous the guy I talked to was just mistaken. I invested just under 40 bucks and have 100 bucks credit so far. I'd like to get more though for sure.

I never really paid much attention to this thread till the last couple weeks. I thought this was over and got pissed when i finally saw a PSone traded into my local GR 19.99 + do the b5g5f deal on cheap games say $32 all together spent for $50 EB credit. I'll have 2 look around and try to find another cheap n64 or psx. ANother $20 for a system and i'd only need 2 more games since i'd have 4 left from the previous deal say $25 out of pocket... HMMMM $57 cash (minues the little gr credit i have left) for $100 Eb credit, that looks good to me since i have only $50 paid torwards my XBox 360 i have preordered there.

But b4 i get carried away with myself i'm gonna call my EB this morning. Is EB open on the 4th????????

I called a local EB today and got some discouraging news. The employee I spoke with said that while they were still running the promotion, they were only offering $25 for a ps1 and 5 games now. I plan to check a few other EBS. That sucks if it is true.

If this is true, I'm definitely trading in so I can get another DS (traded in mine a while back). I just hope that my local EB will still run the deal.

Yeah, both of the EBs in my area have had a sign up saying $25 for a ps1 and 5 games.... but they've also had a sign up saying $50 for a ps1 and 5 games. One of the EBs I traded a set into thought the $25 deal was the only one they were running until the computer rang it up at $50. The employee you were speaking probably just thought the $25 dollar deal was the only one. Why both would be running at the same time, I have no idea, but yeah, I had the same thing and it still worked out to $50.

I tried this yesterday and got shot down. I called ahead of time and they even confirmed the system+6 games for $50 deal, but when I went in the store they said it was gone from the computer system and the only one they had was the system+5 games for $25. Weaaaak!

Last Friday (July 1), I was able to trade in three N64 systems and the following games
(at two different EBGames):

Blast Corps
Extreme G 2
Fighter's Destiny
Goldeneye
Hey You Pikachu
NBA Courtside (first one - 2 copies)
Perfect Dark
Pokemon Snap (2 copies)
Pokemon Stadium (2 copies)
Quake II (w/box and manual)
San Francisco Rush (w/box and manual)
Star Wars Episode 1 Racer
Star Wars Rogue Squadron
Twisted Edge Snowboarding
WCW/NWO Revenge (w/box and manual)

Almost all of the games (boxes and manuals especially) were in worn condition, so
I didn't regret trading in any of these titles. NBA Courtside was a POX at the first
EBGames, but the second EBGames took it. NBA Courtside 2 was POX at both
EBGames; the clerk at the second EBGames was surprised that they were accepting
the first version of NBA Courtside but not the later one.

Both $50 trade-in deals ('N64 plus 6 games' and 'PSX plus 5 games') are gone at
the EBGames I checked yesterday.
